But Ian I don't claim to be a top athlete making a fortune due to 2012, Ennis Javelin throwing is a joke.

I could run 100m in under 15 secs at my peak before I found beer and women more interesting.

Ennis can throw it a lot further than she did in Daegu , though not as far as some of her competitors. In fact had she thrown at her best it would have been -just- enough to win the gold. Next year is another event and I will be surprised if she throws as poorly.

I'm sure she can do without any advice from Hersh.

At least I'm sure she can spell it correctly...

I'd rather she under performed in Daegu, than at the Olympics every single time, i'm sure she will fix her throwing and tweak the other events (hopefully long jump).

Chernova also deserves respect now, she scored 6880 points in her events, Jessica's PB is 6823, so she'd have to set a PB to wrestle the title from her new rival...

She has not been guilty of performing badly in the javelin previously. Certainly it's not her bogey event as it was for Kelly Sotherton. I think her showings in the 100mH and the High Jump kind of set the tone for a not so great 2 days. Hopefully 2012 will be her year.

I think that is ridiculously sexist, Im a bloke and cant throw a javelin for toffee. I would never get near the world record of 72.28
