Seemingly, his popularity seems to be boosted by his inactivity, his fight v Ortiz in September was his 3rd since beating Hatton. Whereas fellow P4P rival Manny has fought 8 times in the same period.

Cocky, yes but I too would call myself the 'face of boxing' if I was him.

Enough of all this though, unless he DARES go up to face Martinez, his next fight better be Manny. Unless (hope I'm wrong) he takes another year and a bit off, then no matter who, people will want to tune in.

Why did he pick Ortiz because he's Mexican...has a massive following..Mexicans are nothing if not loyal, has a legion of female followers because of his looks etc etc..and he's usually exciting...

In all honesty, I doubt it's a coincidence it was on Mexican Independence weekend

It was a stacked card, and Mexican independence day is a massive fight weekend in Vegas.

Morales, Canelo, Ortiz and Mayweather all on one PPV card- it was always going to be a success.

Actually went to the fight myself, atmosphere was immense!

Truss didnt go. His deportation restriction runs out next year though so who knows

Oh how I'm jealous... just out of interest, I'm 18 next May (a month Floyd may fight in if he's to fight next year), do you have to be 18 or 21 to go to a fight in Vegas??

With the hotel booking etc I'm just wondering if next year finally, my dream of watching a Vegas main event may finally come true

Its not really a city. More like Disneyland for adults

Wait until you're 21 regardless. As you won't be able to get in the clubs or gamble on the tables! They'll even ask for ID if you're ordering a coke in the bars.

Nightlife is sensational (best in the world), take a look at Marquee Club in the cosmopolitan hotel.. It puts all London clubs to shame!

Getting tickets for the fight was actually really easy, MGM was still selling them a day before the fight. Although, a Pacquiao vs Money fight would probably sell out in an hour.

Everything is tailored to the buck there.....18 yrs old and bucks in hand you'll be welcomed..

However wait a while and choose your fight carefully....always need more dollars than you bargained for......the distractions are immeasurable...

But go..if you think England is multi-cultural..wait till you get there..

No, that's not the case anymore. Your ID will be checked everywhere, even if you look 30.

But agreed, having been there 3 times in the last 5 years, it's a fantastic place for a young male adult! You'll be looking at an absoloute minimum of £1000 spending money if you go for 4 nights.

But you need to go in peak season and on the weekend. Generally through October to June, Vegas can be quiet. But it always comes alive during the weekends. Visit the grand Canyon (Arizona is next door) if you do get out there!

Been years since I've been....wants to go between them months anyway as Vegas is very hot between July and september..
