First topic message reminder :

Just to start the thread off, what game do you think will be the game of the week?

Despite plenty of divisional games this week, I'm looking forward to the Packers @ Chargers. Will Philip Rivers manage to be the normal Philip Rivers against a defense which has 13 interceptions but allows almost 300 passing yards a game? Will one of the leagues best pass defense's (in terms of yards allowed) be able to contain Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay receivers? I can probably guess the answers to these questions but I'm still intrigued to see how it all plays out.

The late games were incredible, Packers/Chargers was the shootout I was hoping to see, Giants/Pats was like LSU/Alabama for 3 quarters then 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter great finish there.

Just seen Peterson's punt return, that boy is bloody amazing is that his 3rd one this year?

It's Tebow Time
Not a bad performance by Tebow to answer all the criticism he was getting last week. My issue is though when you break it down to stats it really wasn't a great QUARTERBACK performance, 10 from 21 for 124 yards and 2 TD's 0 INT's, he rushed for just 4 less yards from 12 attempts than he threw.

Yeah strange game for Tim, certainly an improvement but he missed quite a few throws. He did have some nice passes however and he didn't turn the ball over, it's very hard to judge a QB's performance when they run for 100+ yards because it adds a whole new dimension. We got the win though which is important and hopefully he continues to improve QB-wise. I'm still doubtful he'll ever get good enough but a good display yesterday

pp7 is so fun to watch, don't think he is there yet in terms of being a great cover corner but the guy is so entertaining its unbelievable, its amazing that he is 220lbs as well, has a corner ever been that big and fast.

Yeah, i went to the movies so missed most of the Cards game (and that was a good thing as it was pretty wretched football), but got home in time to see Calaius Campbell block the field goal and then in OT see Peterson return that punt for a TD. He is exciting to watch.

Gur, Raheem has to take some blame. The defence has been wildly inconsistent this year. I think the penalty count could also be attributed to him. I think it may be possible that the players see him as a buddy and not a coach. Some severe disciplane needs to be put in place to lower the penalty count. Freeman and Blount didn't set the world alight.
