People with way too many tattoos... and really badly 'drawn' cheap ones as well.
I don't mind if she has a tiny pink elephant on her ankle or a butterfly near her gorgeous 'waist' though.
But a woman with a tattoo of another woman carrying an axe on the back of a motor bike? No thanks.
I've got to stop going out more...

People that need to be involved in every conversation in the workplace, just to show how knowledgeable they are. It doesn't matter if it's about Picaso's best work, or the best colour sandels to wear with a pink and white maxi dress, this guy is always at it!

People who make conversation but then dont really listen to what your saying and then walk away before you have finished talking .
My old boss used to do this when he was bored , he would wander over start talking to you then just walk off . It used to p..s me off no end .

People who pull up outside your house in their car, but have no consideration about noise i.e. don't turn the music down and honk the horn regardless of the time of day or night

Thoughtless baastards...
I'm recently getting these illegally parked vans and bloody big hummers parked close to where my driveway meets the road...blocking my vision on the high side - when I've got to exit.
You then have to stick the nose of the car out a little to see beyond; which subsequently p's off other drivers coming the other way up the hill. They soon realise I have to use this technique just to get a clear view of what's coming down the hill.

When you find a nice place for lunch - where the food & service is above average... but then (after a few weeks say) the service and quality drops off and the portions gets smaller when the owners get a little too familiar with you. So you start going somewhere else and whenever you walk by that place... you get sad & sorry looks from the owner.

That's usually a sign that something's rotting somewhere... My colleague at work was telling me about how her son's bedroom became infested with flies because he'd left some sarnies in a bag on top of his wardrobe and completely forgot about them for some time...

The worst is when people who live in cities get white 4x4s. When you see a white 4x4 in the city you can be certain of two things:
1) It's never going to be taken off-road;
2) Its owner is a tw@t.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: supermarkets shouldn't put 'easy-open' and 'resealable' on their bags of pasta when they're neither easy to open nor resealable.

Luckless...
I live deep in the country and it is always amusing to see Range Rover owners going off road and thinking that thier modified towny car can do what a Land Rover manages easily.
Lost count of the ones I have seen towed to the road.

The shaky hand-held camera technique in contemporary tele-movies and documentaries, etc. It's not that cool!
It's getting overused and can be very distracting at times. What's wrong with a good old stable tripod?

Trying to submit a form via the internet. You can't save it as you go along because the system won't let you, then it times out when you're finished sending your efforts into cyberspace

Re: The That Really Grinds My Gears thread
That's incredibly annoying Cari. Then only thing I can suggest (too late now though) is that next time print it off when you can.
In my line of work we have very large files which often crashed - so I developed the habit of saving frequently. Then there was the fallback of going into the temp directory and renaming .svs or .bak files to .dwgs. Even that didn't work sometimes when a particular file got corrupted... so I had to restart from scratch.
Is there an option anywhere to save your form to a draft folder on the relevant server?

Line - it was an odd programme. You couldn't save as you went along, or print only when the form was completed. Anyway, it's all done now, because I typed everythign into Word and then cut and paste really quickly before it timed out again!

Re: The That Really Grinds My Gears thread
My boss who has a penchant for pink ties and well cut shirts.
While wearing his smart business attire he is overly fond of saying assorted business speak very loudly.
For example - "let's go in aggressive and make this happen"
"lets play hardball on negotiations, let's make it happen"
"let's blue sky it, then touch base and make it happen"
All of the above is usually accompanied with a double finger point.
Am considering giving him the scissors takedown in the middle of the office while screaming "LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!!"

Haha, My work is a former civil service place.
Lot's of corp suits and folks who play squash at lunch.
I'm quickly becoming the office weirdo who refuses to speak in office lingo and spends most of my day looking at colleagues with cold dead eyes!!
Wish I was a dolphn trainer or somehing of that ilk!!
