Apologies for the rushed nature of this competition, I started it without realising that I finish work on the 21st and won't be able to run the competition after that. What a plum.

The Results

Two of the fights didn't happen, but one fighter from each of those fights met in what turned out to be the decider, I amalgamated our guys predictions and the man who came out on top was The Galveston Giant.

To be fair there was no mention at the outset that there would be a 17:00 deadline, it just happens that I have to do a round per day to get the whole thing finished by the 21st.

Yeah that went up this morning, there was no mention of it during the application process yesterday.

I know it is a total shambles, and I can only apologise if you feel that all the effort you put in to saying "Bloke on the left by UD" was wasted.

I was obliged to say that because I cannot access either boxrec or youtube at work so my ability to make a more informed prediction was greatly reduced, had I realised the five o clock cut off was not in fact a five o clock cut off the effort that went into my predictions could have been somewhat increased.

As someone who actually did do some boxrec research I can safely say you're position isn't as precarious as it would be on the League. Most of the fighters listed are less than ten fights into their careers and almost every fixture is next to impossible to call by any other means than blind guesswork. It's down to sheer luck for this one so you've got about as much of a shot as the next guy tbh.

Extremely unlucky mate, 22 points was a great score, as you say if you'd have been up against anyone else you'd be through.

It must sicken you that Solier_Of_Fortune has gone through with only 8 points...
