Apparently these are the agreements they wanted Povetkin to sign, probably the same for Chisora:

1. Povetkin has to visit (maybe more than one) joint or separate press conferences, participate in press trips, interviews, open training sessions and other public events as prescribed by K2 Promotions [Klitschkos' promotional company].

2. If Povetkin does not appear on one of the press events
organized by K2, K2 will fine him the amount of at least $250,000 dollars.

3. K2 refuses to pay for relocation expenses, hotel accommodations, meals and transportation to the and from the fight location, etc.

4. K2 refuses to provide health insurance for the duration of the fight and commits Povetkin to bear all of the costs of all medical expenses in treating injuries that he may receive in the fight.

5. Povetkin has to use the gloves provided by K2, from the
company Grant. Povetkin is not allowed to bring his own gloves even in an unopened package or use gloves by any company other than Grant.

Like I said before the Klitschko's are not the "classy gentlemen" they make themselves out to be.

7. Povetkin is not allowed to sleep for 48 hours prior to the fight

8. Povetkin has to fight with a brazilian wandering spider in his trunks

10. Povetkin must do an iron man inbetween the weighin and fight.

I've always heard the klit's contracts are not good with many stupid stipulations.

The health insurance bit is a bit odd but then again surely a professional fighter has his own?

VC, have heard similar but they would not be the first champions to drive a tough deal at the negotiating table, truth is though simple way to avoid this is become mandatory because believe the governing bodies have standard contracts for mandatory defences, if so problem solved.

I think Povetkin was a mandatory.

Surely expecting him to turn up at a press conference isn't unreasonable though is it?

Not surprising, this is simply the first stage of what I said would happen. I can't be the only one who notices the pattern!?

-Chisora due to fight Wlad, the fight gets cancelled.
-Chisora due to fight Wlad again, the fight gets cancelled.
-Haye fights Wlad and loses, blames broken toe.
Latest - Chisora due to fight Vitali, the fight gets cancelled.

Now on to what will happen, the Vitali fight will appear to be miraculously revived only to be snatched away again. Haye will then step in and lose a landslide decision in Germany, only this time he'll blame a broken hand he somehow obtained on the way to the ring.
Basically, any K bro Chisora says he'll fight is taking on Haye next.

In that case does seem harsh, am with union in that expecting him to do his bit to promote the fight is reasonable but the amount of the fine seems disproportionate

It doesn't specify how many press trips, conferences etc. Can you imagine being dragged around Germany/the world with that pair at a moment's notice?

Seeing as Wlad failed to show up to the actual fight for Chisora twice and now Mormeck as well I think it is a bit rich them fining people $250,000 for missing a press conference.

250000 is a reasonable fine - I imagine that the advertisers contribute more than that to the fight purse so when one doesn't go ahead - they have to pay it back.

It's a play on Vitali's alias Dr Ironfist, meant to mean he (Chisora) won't be dealt with easily I assume. At least he's lost none of his cockiness, have to give him that, not sure how true his words will hold though.

Getting drunk, missing your flight and tweeting immediately assuming the fight is off, not the coolest of starts.
