First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has teleported to Mexico City for the first qualifying match for RWC 2015. There's also TVs showing Aviva Premiership, Rabobank Pro 12 and Super XV action.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the Grand Slam Winners or Dan Carter who returns to rugby this weekend.

The Blues' pack really isn't great. They could well struggle up at Firhill.

Happy birthday, Hound- feliz cumpleanos!

The Blue Bug passed its MOT Yahoo so I gave it its annual wash. Think the shock sent it into some sort of spasm 'cause the boot won't open now steam . In spite of that, I will add my endorsement of the Nissan Micra to Lucky's - reliable wee car and economical.

No great plans for Saturday, Billy, but on Sunday I'll be going to my dad's for Sunday lunch and the pup'll get to meet my sister's dog for the first time. She'll love it; he might not!

I filled up the car yesterday, Puma (because the tank was almost empty, not because of the mass national hysteria over a potential strike) and it cost me £36. That's going to last me ages.

EDIT: Bravo, Blue Bug!

Happy Friday! Tis a Scarlets day, neeeeervous already. Roll on kick off where I will be glued to the live match updates as the blydi thing isn't being shown!

My mission of the weekend is to figure out how to set myself up on skype so can chat with my brother better. Other then that, if it's nice I'm going to be living in the parc for most of the days and think me and some friends are going for a walk somehwere on Sunday. Should be good!

Poor isnt it.

I have just had some Dutch colleagues return from Carrickfergus. They were doing some work there for 2 months. One hell of a culture shock for them. They cant stop laughing about being chased out of pubs by lads for simply looking at the girls Very Happy. 'We could'nt understand a word they said' seems to be the common statement Wink

So, who started the Dog birthday rumour then?

Looking at the Pro12 website, I see that BBC Alba are showing the Munster v Leinster match, while Alba (?) and BBC2W are both showing Glasgow v Blues. Headscratch Where's Penfro?

And the sun continues to shine in Central Scotland. Apparently, snow is forecast for next week!

Update - BBC website says BBC Alba is showing the Warriors match. Fingers crossed I'll be able to see Munster/Leinster on-line.

Can we have Shane Horgan's picture above the bar in the next Pub? Oh, and Jerry Flannery as well

Most true, don't they know what the public wants to see??

Maybe they are saving it up for a special in a couple of weeks.....

Morning all.

On it. Had a quick read last night (after midnight so not too in-depth) and enjoyed it.

Nominations for the new pub venue please.

Sold. Lions vs Crusaders should be a good game in Jo'burg tomorrow. Plus I had dinner with my (Tuesday) netball team last night and 2 of my team-mates are originally from Jo'burg
