For 2 reasons:

1. Why didn't we organise a series against Argentina? It would have been a good scouting mission for our coaches and useful for the players. Hammering Ireland by 30-40 points in 3 games is going to teach us nothing! We've seen it before.

2: Why is Piri Weepu and Nonu in the squad when there are clear alternatives playing well?

2 reasons going the other way:
1. We actually havent beaten Ireland, If by chance we did beat Ireland by 30 points we need games against the likes of Ireland for a new coach to start his own culture/regime and to bring new players into the squad, thats far more important than putting s h i t on Ireland.

2. The NZRFU did nt select Weepu and Nonu, Hansen, Foster and Fox did.

Besides that the last five matches in NZ was by, 11, 10, 10, 38, 19.

the NZRU didn't pick Weepu and Nonu. And did they organise the tour or did the IRB?

and who is the alternative to Nonu - Bateman or no-defense Fruen?


The NZRU are doing a great job. the Argies aren't coming for a tour doesn't
mean anything
