When major tournaments are held.

We seem to hear a lot about players being tired mentally as well as physically before European Championships and World Cups. Wouldn't it be better for these tournaments to be played in late summer giving the players a good rest and they will come fresher to the tournament. They would then also be match fit and ready for their new domestic seasons.

The the club managers would complain. They've had a decent rest as it is and shouldn't be tired.
