I agree the offer was fair.

it's more about it being worthwhile. If I sell Toulalan, it's to finance bringing in a couple of players to bulk up the squad a little. I have other DM targets who are slightly cheaper than Motta, which would allow me to still bring in another target

The £4m and £5m offers leave me a little short and not able to get that target, so I may as well then just keep Toulalan for the time being. £5.5m would get my budget up to what I would need

Motta's Italianess is good, but not essential asa I am well covered there
