That's a very interesting offer. The thing is Walcott as a striker is a risky option, but I'm willing to do £18.125m + Henry for him.

I can't offer any more cash as I'd want the rest to buy another striker as an alternative.

I got Valencia last night so don't need Walcott anymore. I recall you saying Berba was for sale anyway, or if possible Lukaku would be even better.

Also I slightly prefer my CB pairing so would want a small gain, i.e. getting the striker for a couple of million less.

Hummels + Howedes + Berbatov/Lukaku (+Walcott)

The gap between Vidic and Hummels is nowhere near the gap between J-Rod and Costa.

If I can raise some cash, would you do Vidic + cash for Hummels, and if so, how much cash?

Well, I think I would struggle to raise £10m, so the top one is out.

But the second is tempting as the cash will come in handy.

If you want to, Vidic + J-Rod = Hummels + Costa + £10m is a deal Ok!
