Bevington has now been carded for a first offence, he did drive down that time, exactly the same way Vunipolo did but was awarded the pen instead.

I havnt whinged about a ref this weekend until now.

Can't disagree more, that was Bevingtons first offence under pressure, Poite has handed the position Leicester are in now.

nah it was the third times in about ten minutes he pinged the O's scrum, each time Bevvington I think. Harsh but understandable yellow. Blaming the ref every time is just looking for excuses...

It was the third time he pinged the Os incorrectly!!!

Bevington was at fault that scrum but Cole and Vunipolo shouldve been pinged twice each up till now, Poite has no idea whats going on come scrumtime.

Coming up to half-time and so far Leicester have proved why they're two time winners and Ospreys why they're not.

Leicester now on a roll. Playing with aggression, pursuit of ball and winning the critical encounters.

Again Cole should be pinged there, if your TH pops up first your not scrummaging squarely, then Hibbard pops up = either boring in or driving up.

as cockers said at the beginning, the players will need to adapt to ref at each break down and scrum. Looks like the Tigers are doing that, Ospreys need to start.

Remember don't expect much from Poite he kept the Fiji scrum in it v Wales.

If the Os start scrummaging unfairly we will have a dire game of rugby going from one reset to another, I hope they dont

Great fightback that by the Tigers after the opening 10mins. They are getting the rub of the green decision wise though

I disagree: Bevvington wasn't gettings his bind in at all. correct call IMO.

people really need to stop blaming refs for everything, it's not Poite's fault Hibbard found himself in midfield for Leicester's score (which was quite beautifully worked by the way).

i don't understand what that has to do with anything? Do you think a club changes when each new player comes in or a player leaves?

Technically it would be the Blues, as I have a season ticket, but also have a dragons season ticket and worked for them for a while.

But I am firmly against the regions as the entities they are, so please don't think this is any welsh bias.

My money is on Leicester to grind out a win, and for all welsh regions to be dumped out of europe after round 2!

Beyond what Barnes tells them is going they don't quite grasp the game,
most of them will be looking forward to Martin Johnson coming on to reinforce the pack

No offence mate but you show a huge lack of any knowledge, Hibbard was at a 1 or guard position first man out from the ruck, it was an inside ball that beat him as he was lazily drifting, nowhere near midfield.

And Bevington hasn't once been pinged for his bind, bringing the scrum down twice thats all, and Jones was pinged for bringing it down twice. Only the yellow card pinging was actually correct, as Poite just tends to ping the guy on the oposing side from himself very often. Cole is actually driving up and stopping the Os front row from scrummaging, then the Leicester locks are moving the scrum forward.

If Ospreys want to win this they need to replace Bevington with Duncan Jones and tidy up their lineouts.

Hibbard was a decent distance from the ruck, he was the one tackling Flood was he not? sure I know nothing about rugby, only the Welsh do. You've just reminded me why I don't post on here much...

No he wasn't tackling Flood, he was the guard who didn't shift out fast enough to cover the wing for the inside ball, he came from a guard position mate.

For me, i think that the Tigers have been getting away with quite a bit in the scrum but they are just playing the ref, nothing wrong with that. The O's will have to wise up to this in he second half.

Again billy your right, but I really hope they don't it'll kill the asthetics of the game!!!
