how has rory clegg been included in the saxons above farrell?
clegg is so average. he's the only fly half in the squad aswell, goode can play there but not ideal.

Farrell will be with Under 20's

surely we have a better option than clegg

I really like Clegg, got a great passing game on him. Just a pity he's ginger.

glad to see gibson in the squad, and ojo, he could still sneak a spot if monye is injured badly.

for me banahan, marler, paice, johnson, gibson, narraway, monye were all decent,
bit disappointed by paul hodgson, brown, jth.

Absolutely pooly had a good first half and did some great defending coming out of the line.

Had a few poor moments but to be fair that England side was thrown together and had never played together before.

Banahan , Marler impressed me. I went to the game and jsd's try was a cracker.

Narraway decent also.

The english defensive line was all over the place. Looked like they had spent very little time together. Bit of a pointless fixture. A random team vs a random team

I try and take those kind of games lightly. Would Hodgson be throwing a backdoor pass in own 22 in a test match...I very much doubt it.

Was impressed with Paice think he should be ahead of Chuter as our 3rd hooker - think Chuter has lost it.

Marler isnt ready yet, and I'm still really unsure about the whole Banahan selection - really dont think he has the intelligence to play centre and would rather we try and find an intelligent 12 in the mould of Greenwood and then go with Tuilagi outside him!

paice is quality player, carries so well. would go as far to say he's a better ball carrier than hartley. not quite as good in the scrum as hartley though. lineout throwing is decent but throws the odd overthrow.

This is my potential worst case scenario team for the World Cup if everyone who is in with a shout of selection gets picked (which is unlikely). Where do people think I need to improve? I can see that 2 and 9 may be issues, but wondered if there was anything glaringly bad for anyone else?

If Lamb starts the season well and is in form then i will be looking good. If not i will be playing Ryan Davis or Johnny Bentley.

Looks like May will get lots of game time for Glos next year as will Trinder. Glos will have youngest side in the AP i think.

Lamb started this season well but thats because are pack was doing very well with Danaher, Armitage and Hala'ufia all playing well. As soon as we got a couple of injuries and the pack struggled, Lamb went to pieces.

That said when you have roussouw and Flip as well as Bakkies and Matfield then life is tough as a bulls 2nd row

He's been injured for a month or so but only made bench anyway. With Matfield retiring and Bakkies off see a Flip and Kruger partnership for Bulls and maybe SA?!?!?

If only Kruger had went for England. Palmer, Lawes and Kruger as options.

Kruger is one of the best front jumpers I've ever seen. So quick he does;t need the bulk like bakkies and Shaw etc

Roussouw is on fire at the moment but is maybe off to Japan. Lots of Bull fans want roussouw and bakkies.

Not from what i have seen. Would not surprise me though. that will be 3 world cups.

What would you be playing on for??. Think they may get roussouw to stay on. South Africa have great second rows. Pete's choice in the foreigns is some player. Will be 4 for south africa for years after Bakkies. Also Bekker will get better and better

Think Flip is incumbent 4 for SA as already in squad, PDV makes it harder to get out of the squad than in it sometimes. Kankowski????
