Life without the Kiltschkos.
First topic message reminder :
Just a hypothetical here, and entirely a pointless one at that. Say the Klitschkos were to disappear overnight and everyone is willing to fight everyone else (I know, crazy, right?). All the belts are now vacant. Who do we feel would emerge as the top dog after the dust settles? Or, if you fancy sitting on the fence, which four fighters would you have holding a belt each? Would Fury beat Haye? Would Price beat Tyson. Seth Mitchell clean up? Or Pulev? Wilder? Would Povetkin finally step up or would he get beaten to the punch by some of the up-and-comers who’ve emerged whilst he’s been biding his time?
Essentially, this is a ‘out of the current second tier (the first tier being the Ks) crop, who, if thrust into the fray, is best?’ best’ kind of question. Would be interested to see what people think either way.

Me neither; I had it 10-2 in his favour.
Saying that Haye won five rounds in that fight is an insult to the intelligence, and I suspect you know that so am, in effect, very probably wasting my time with you. Still, it's amazing to think that a fighter can win a fight without laying a glove on their opponent, eh?

Haha Haye has been caling for Vitali to fight him for ages. Obviously Vitali aint going to admit he is scared in public so hes going to come out with all this giving it the big un. How come he wont fight Haye when Haye has been calling him out? They could fight this summer if Vitali had the minerals.

So let me get this right a guy who will fight Lennox Lewis on a fortnight's notice hides under the settee when Haye is mentioned?

Re: Life without the Kiltschkos.
Haye smashes Lewis to pieces inside a round if he's fully fit and does have a poorly toe. I'll use a comparison with another sportsmen and a different sport, Jonny Wilkinson played the majority of the 2003 rugby world with a broken shoulder yet we have to take a massive leap of faith to believe a broken little toe makes all the difference in the world.

Too right. How else you expect to believe he wont fight Haye? He knows he would get a proper beat down. Hes old now and he knows Haye is the best heavyweight out there.

Re: Life without the Kiltschkos.
Unfortunately ghosty that doesnt bear comparison, you never use your shoulders in rugby but in boxing you punch with your little toe.
Re: Life without the Kiltschkos.
Let me get this straight, Vitali takes on the far more dangerous and able Lennox Lewis, has his face torn to shreds and wants to rematch him but he's scared of the less powerful, less able, smaller, weaker David Haye?
Also hardly speaks volumes of Haye if this is all because Vitali has got old.

Give me strength! this is getting as bad as gordy's lewis love in!!!
Haye admitted turning down the Vitali fight to clash with Chisora and has never asked to fight Wlad again. Someone please tell me how this is the K brothers running scared!?!??

Who is to say Haye cant beat Lewis? Lewis was a class act but he lost to fighters worse than Haye. Lewis was the best heavyweight from his era and Haye is the best heavyweight from his era. Different eras so its pointless to compare anyway coz you aint never going to know.

I get the impression this is Young Towzer
It's very doubtful that Haye could beat Lewis and to be the best of your era you have to beat the best of your era and Haye has not done that. Valuev, Harrison, Chisora and Ruiz is a pretty shoddy resume even for this era.

Why have you created multiple accounts just so you can talk nonsense. You have posted loads of crap about a broken baby toe that Haye suffered from (he broke his baby toe 3 weeks before the fight so hardly a massive injury).
Every post of yours is about how great Haye is.
It is so obvious that your account is a wum account. Do you have nothing better to do in your life?

Don't hold grudges that is my advice to you. Yes I beat you in a debate a few weeks ago but don't feel angry and bitter about it now and try to cause an argument on a new thread. let things go (You clearly let your weight go).
If you can't move on in life how are you ever going to get accepted for your dream job as a cashier in Costcutter?

Do you want to give it a rest, Victor? You came on here deriding severe-mma's debating technique and then seem to have taken his mantle, ironically.
Had enough of cleaning up insults and pointless posts today, thanks. Get back on topic or come back when you've cooled down a bit.

Nobody is forcing you to take the bait, Victor.
If you're so convinced you can 'own' other posters or make them 'look silly' then at least try to do it by talking boxing, which is supposed to be the point of this forum.

Re: Life without the Kiltschkos.
In genuine shock I've just been reading some of the things that severe-mma has said. I had no idea that someone can be so clueless about boxing, even moreso than Gordy, because at least Gordy talks up Lennox Lewis, who in my eyes is a top 5 ATG Heavyweight - although sometimes he is, farcical in his defenses he is essentially fighting the corner of my favorite boxer.
Not so with this WUM, Haye, the best heavyweight of his gener....wha? Hold up. The toe injury would have brought him to around 80 - 90% of his ability to be mobile. The adrenaline and painkiller combo (he'll have been on something ridiculous) would have meant pain wouldn't have hindered him so in reality it was the actual physical nature of the injury if anything.
So, from watching the fight, and seeing absolutely nothing to do with his toe resulting in him losing the fight, more the fact that Wlad had him pinned in what was a masterclass of how to deal with a faster boxer - this was somehow an affirmation of Hayes dominance?
And Ghosty is right, the Vitali that faced Lennox Lewis and put up a brave enough showing to forego his sight and want to continue against someone who hits harder and was a much more well rounded boxer, would be scared of the guy that wouldn't engage with his little brother?
Pull the other one. Haye has 3 good heavyweight wins. Ruiz (not really a test) Valuev (a very weird match to watch, think it was a bit closer than perhaps Haye fans have it) and Chisora (good display to be honest, but Chisora hasn't accomplished anything of note)
So lets compare this with Vitali's - Samuel Peter, Briggs, Solis, Adamek, Arreola, Corrie Sanders.
The above list were genuine contenders.
So - record states Vitali has a better ledger, ipso facto a better boxer.

Dont matter. Vitali aint brave enough to face Haye. Vitali only fought Lennox coz he thought he was old and washed up. Lennox smashed him anyway. Haye is in top form. He did a right job on Chisora that Vitali couldnt do. Vitali dont want no part of him now. He didnt want no part of Valuev either he was happy to leave that job to Haye.

Not sure how Hayes on top form? Beat a guy who is a domestic level fighter and shouldn't really have been in the same ring. But what ever floats your boat.

Oh yeah? This the some fighter that pushed Vitali all the way for 12 rounds right before. Vitali couldnt put a dent in him. Haye smashed him. Top performance. Vitali watched that and thought - no thanks.

Re: Life without the Kiltschkos.
Pushed him all the way? It was pretty much a wipe out on all 3 cards and wasn't as close some like to remember. Factor in the shoulder injury supposedly suffered by Vitali it was a pretty good performance from the old man.
Vitali would wipe the floor with Haye. Hayes only chance is a knockout and Vitali has one of the very best chins in boxing.
