...I heard reports that Andy Murray stormed on court during the first set, threw a hardback copy of The Last of the Mohicans at Rafa, and then proceeded to assault Federer with a life-size cardboard cut-out of Alan Alda circa 1972.

Like I say, I didn't actually watch the match, but it all seems very plausible to me.

That's not how I heard it banbrotam, though I did hear a rumour that Murray also threw the visual sensory organ of a bird of prey in the direction of the umpire.
