Smark chants

this is not a fancy article but just a random thought......

After hearing chants recently directed at John Cena such as "Borrrriinngg" and "we all hate you" got me thinking why have we never heard chants such as "Heel Turn" directed at him? i would love to see his reaction if a "Heel turn" chant broke out really loud.

I'm really not a fan of the 'boring' chants, for example on last week's Raw they started it during Barrett v Miz, and the match was about 2 minutes in. Why go to a wrestling show if you find wrestling boring?
The 'we all hate you' chants are fine though

I cant stand the "Goldberg" chants whenever Ryback comes out. It was mildly funny the first time we heard it, now its just plain boring.

Also detest the "what" chant. Dont get me started on that!!!

I'm not entirely sure but was there not a "Please turn heel" chant directed at Cena a while back?

What annoyed me is I actually thought Cena was delivering a very good promo and the fans ruined it with the boring chant, the boos and 'Cena sucks' chants were great, but the boring chants ruined it.

When Big E Langston is about, I'm surprised people haven't started chanting "Ahmed Johnson" at him. I guess i'll have to start it when they tour.

He's had Ryblack and Choc Lesnar chants though.

When the prime time players come out, there should be Kobe Bryant chants.

Langston stated on twitter that he finds the Ryblack chants unimaginative, though he likes "Soulberg" and "Choc Lesnar"

CHOC LESNAR! HAHA The Goldberg chants for Ryback are boring but I found it funny when that one fan got hold of a mic and started chanting it.

I hate 90% of the so called funny chants such as "boring". The fans chanting boring during Cena's last promo were stupid, it was a good promo and actually began to make me feel like the turn was coming...the Cena Sucks chants actually helped it but the boring ones almost killed the enjoyment for me.

I'm also bored of "TNA" chants though when Punk was doing a promo and people were chanting ECW and he looked at Paul Heyman and said "speaking of things that are dead" I cracked up.

The 'What' chants are definitely the worst, fortunately they do seem to be dying, and I hope if Austin does ever return that he doesn't ever use the 'What' because it'll take another ten years for it to die again.

I enjoyed the 'boring' chants for Cena because that's what he and the promo was, incredibly boring. Same old rubbish from him every week.

If Austin comes back there is no doubt in my mind the what chants will start, even if Austin doesn't initiate it

I liked the little Jimmy chants

Saw a video on YouTube where the crowd were chanting "You can't wrestle" at Cena. Thought that was quite funny.

Also liked the "Who are ya?" chants at Daniels and Kazarian during the last TNA UK tour.

i had noticed the absence of the what chants on raw, which was good

the you suck chants at kurt angle annoyed me too

The best ever you can't wrestle chants were during the money in the bank match between Punk and Cena. When Punk pointed at himself and then pointed at Cena.

I hate the smark chants in general cos its clearly people wanting to be part of something 'hilarious'. The Goldberg ones are even more pathetic when you know they're gonna chant feed me more afterwards. Cena has been pretty good in the run up to Mania but people can't help but be 'witty'

I know this wasn't a chant but when that fan shouted at Batista that they hated him and Batista's response of shouting "I HATE YOU TOO!" always cracks me up haha

loooool at people who have commented on this thread, Isn't "smark" chants at wrestling events, kind of the equivalent to what some of the people who comment on here with their smark language - just saying
