Haye vs Fury at the end of the year - Page 3 Empty Haye vs Fury at the end of the year

First topic message reminder :

What do you guys think?

http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/207514.html

Says they are currently in talks. The injury that halted the Charr fight seems a bit suspect now. Haye could earn triple (or more) fighting the big unco-ordinated oaf.

Is the injury a ploy to begin preparations for a Fury fight or will Fury duck Haye like he did Price?

Hopefully it happens, Haye previously dismissed a fight with Fury but now seems up for it.

Plenty. He came from a poor background and is now a success. He did that by using his talents both in and out of the ring.

Pahahaha what BS. Name a boxer that hasn't come from a poor background?!! Basically, other maybe a freak exception, you can't. Because you know that wasn't what you were talking about.

Pahahaha I can't believe (well, I can) you can accuse others of being blinded when you come up with crap like that.

1. 60% isn't a 'high' ko rate. It's very average indeed.

2. It isn't even Cunningham's ko rate!!!! His is 38% - against CRUISERWEIGHTS!! laughing

My mistake. C5 got it wrong as they stated a 63% KO ration. But if a 210 man hits you flush, down you go. Getting up and winning is what matters.

As for his poor background in comparison to other boxers, he's from a travelling background. I can bet you that he has had little formal education. Most of his family are/were on benefits and probably didn't have a settled home. So yes I would say poorer than the norm given the relative nature of poverty in the UK.

The fact is people here are very harsh on Fury because he's not humble and a boring character. Many want him to lose and put down his voctories whilst playing up the wins of the other guy who is worse.

Deny it all you want but the facts are that Fury gets a bad rap here with his abilities put down. "Put him in with Haye". Haye will win. What does that mean? Put him in with Wilder, Pov, etc etc etc". Fury may lose. But if he does it will be a loss against the best of his era and not some washed up 41 fat bloke here for a payday.

I will tell you why he gets a hard time on here - YOU

Due to your incessant whittering on about Price being "chinny" and other fantastically hypocritical posts, people now oppose your view whatever it may be. I used to like Fury but every time I see you defend him in your inimitable "style" I find myself wanting him to lose to shut you up.

I am getting very bored of your blinkered crusade against some boxers and posters. And its never a good thing when I get bored with people.

Because of me he gets a hard time? That says a lot about them doesn't it? My withering proved to be correct didn't it?

Is that a ban threat?

I think Az is a good guy. Sure he dislikes some boxers but then so do we all like I despise Carl Froch and Reborn pathologically resents Nathan Cleverly ever being born so its a common thing on here

pathetic excuse. when you're a 250lb hw fighting a cruiserweight with a 38% ko ratio (against CWs!!) you do not just go down.

and you have the cheek to berate Price for being stopped by a 6'5" 250lb career HW with a 60%+ ko ratio (high, in your book) against HWs. #hypocrite #issues

What nonsense. If you get hit plum on the chin by a 210lb guy you're likely to go down. It was a power punch not a slap. Price got a tap on the neck and danced. Huge difference.

He's stopped 12 out of 24 at cruiser, that in my eyes makes him a none punching heavy weight.

So if he loses to the fighters ranked above him (and below him in Wilders case) how would you rate him? Average?

Wilder will go on to great things. Probably the best prospect out there. Losing to him is expected.

Fury is a good hw in this era.

Price is not.

Surely Price has better technique, power and movement than Fury.
