Surrey vs Derbyshire lv county championship

First topic message reminder :

Surrey have named a thirteen man squad for the LV=County Championship match against Derbyshire at the Kia Oval starting on Thursday.
Fast bowler George Edwards is named in a Championship squad for the first time this season and the Pemberton Greenish Academy batsman Dominic Sibley is also included.
Jade Dernbach is unavailable due to his selection in the England squad for the two NatWest International  T20 games against Australia. Gary Wilson’s inclusion in the Ireland squad for the ODI against England does not allow him to be available for the entirety of the game against Derbyshire and because of this he is not named in the thirteen man squad.
The Surrey squad to play Derbyshire in the LV=County Championship match at the Kia Oval on Thursday 29th August, Friday 30th August, Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September :

Well done to all.

Never in doubt from the moment ... Ansari hit the winning boundary. Up to then, it was on a knife edge. Every time we got our noses in front we lost another wicket at just the wrong moment. It's still in our hands with a game to come against Somerset and at least another couple we should be winning if we are to justify our place in Div 1. Probably best not to leave it all to the last game though, against likely Champions-elect if they beat us Yorkshire

Echoing numerous previous posts, I have concerns about Tremlett playing 8 days of Championship cricket in 9 days. Perhaps significantly, Meaker was at the Oval yesterday and doing 13th man duties.

Guildford - with the squad announced for the Middlesex game it looks as though Surrey management take a similar view on managing Tremlett's workload and Meaker is back in the frame.
