Who leaked the Hodgson comment?

Now the actual comment itself, no harm whatsoever in my mind. Blown completely out of proportion by the media.

But apparantly there was a player who leaked this, which leads to the question of who?

Now the player who leaked joke to press must be a) already comfortable/cosy with journos and b) have reasons for grudge w/ Hodgson.

Story came out in The Sun, one would assume the player would have connections with them. He might have a history of doing it. I can;t see one of the younger players risking themselves either.

I think the signs point to Super Frank personally. Wouldn't be the first time he's kicked up a fuss after being benched *cough* AVB *cough*

Well the commission should have included you pair, seeing as only retards or ugly people would bother to insult former England captains who are attempting to improve the game you love.

He never failed a drug test.  He just never turned up for it.

I don't like Rio. But this commission is attempting to review the current state of the game, from youth level up to full england level. Who better to be involved than a player who has risen through the youth ranks at West Ham, experienced all the youth levels our country has to offer, broken into a Premier League club's first team, moved for £12m to a top 4 club, improved year after year, moved to the Champions for £28m, and gone on to win everything there is to win at club level, combined with 70+ England caps and the England captaincy?

Rio Ferdinand has lived the entire problem over the course of his career. From the first touch he ever had with a football, he is what this commission is trying to get. English talent that can break through the current system and thrive.
