County Fixtures 2014

It was stated at a Surrey members' forum tonight that all County fixtures for next season will be issued by the ECB at 9.30 am on Tuesday 26th November.
CC matches will be more evenly spread than in recent seasons with many beginning on a Sunday.
The t20 tournament will be over a longer period. Whilst generally welcomed as it would be less disruptive to CC fixtures, it was acknowledged that this may cause difficulties for counties trying to sign an overseas specialist (problems of availability and extra costs for contracts lasting a longer time).
The 40 over competition is replaced by a 50 over one with the rules mirroring those in ODIs.
