Well, where is he?

Been wondering the same...

Producing his Magnus opus on the history of the greatest game: a rugby Alanmanac if you like.

I could of just leant him my copy of "Men in Black".

I hope so.

My worry is he started producing the pieces of his magnum opus at about the time we started being consumed with the AI's.

I hope the old character didn't take offence that we weren't entirely overwhelming it with loving scrutiny and sort of disappear as it were.

So Mr Mackey, if you're listening then come back and post some more, the rugby is over. I'm all ears.

My guess is computer problems and his telecom provider has changed his email address and screwed him over again.

There are more left field options like he was arrested at the ground in Dublin because he had a BB gun and fired it at the Irish players which made them "charge" early. I like the idea of Alan as an MIB operative ensuring the preservation of NZ's record. His Anglo-Scot background is just a profile. He was born actually in Hokitika and left in a rugby clubhouse and was taken in by the NZRU and trained in the ways of the dark arts. Alan is just laying low. His cover was almost blown.
