Have I missed some Redskins signings? So far I'm only seeing Roberts, Hayward and Lauvao. Roberts and Hayward make real sense as they should provide upgrades at WR and Special Teams respectively. Lauvao I know nothing about but we sure could with more depth along the O-Line.

Quite pleased so far.

Byrd won't be a Redskin.

So Blaine Gabbert joins the 49ers. Looks a straight swap for Colt McCoy. Donte Whitner getting $7m a year in Cleveland. The 49ers have signed Antoine Bethea on a 4 year deal for $6m a year.

Golden Tate is visiting the Lions while Josh Freeman could be a possible for the Raiders. Though that is still more of a rumour so far.

Veldheer to Arizona and we wayyyy overpay for some random from St Louis

McKenzie and Allen both out of jobs in 12 months after another season with 4 wins.....probably less

biggest cap room in the NFL yet somehow we're managing to throw it away. Shame...this off season could have been a real turning point in raiders future

Yeah I gotta admit I'm kinda glad we didn't go hard for Talib, he would be worth that contract if he could stay healthy. But he stays healthy for like six weeks, then gets burned by Steve Smith

Plenty of other good corners out there for us to make a run at, plus we now have a whole bunch of cap room (pending obvious cuts/restructures)

A Wilfork release is incoming soon I feel. Not sure he'd want to take the pay cut, and the way the organisation will see it is we played without him last season and still did pretty well.

I wish Mankins would restructure though, can't believe were paying a guard 10m a season Sad

I was annoyed at first but I want to see how this all plays out.

Supposedly they viewed Veldheer as more of a RT, and so they weren't willing to pay him LT money. Right or wrong, it's a logical decision for them to take if that's what they believed.

I'm not sure what to make of Saffold and Howard coming in. One assumed Saffold will be our LT, and Howard goes to the right... or maybe we're ready to try Menelik Watson on the left and Saffold kicks inside to one of the guard spots? Interesting to see what they're planning here.

McFadden is a pretty risk free move. He doesn't make much and if we can get another back to work with him then we can get production. I think what they're doing clearly sets us up as a power offense and so we'll be using multiple backs anyway. DMC is good enough when not broken to work in a multiple back set.

I am a bit annoyed that we have all that money and don't seem to be players for ANY of the marquee players out there. People like Ware, Revis, Allen...we should be on the phone to these guys. After all you have to spend a fair amount of the cap space to keep within the rules.

Saffold has missed 17 games over the last three seasons. No way he deserves that kind of pay day. Look at the money Eugene Monroe got in Baltimore. That's sensible and he's better than Saffold, Howard and Brandon Albert.

On Gabbert we may laugh now, but if he can get good work in with Harbaugh and co, then the Niners may be able to help him realise some of his talent. If they do, they will get much more than a 6th for him in the future. He has physical ability, he needs to work on feeling the rush and mentally getting better.
