Thanks for the thread, Dave.

See that Davies has been dumped as I was banging on about last week.

What a great win and revenge for the robbery at Hove earlier in the season. Despite gbat calling it I was a bit surprised Davies was dropped although Curran definitely had to play and clearly should have done last week. Oddly in the pre match football I thought Davies looked as relaxed as I've seen him for a long time. As I've said before he never seems to look as if he's enjoying his cricket these days.

A lot of positives from the game obviously but strange captaincy from Wilson. Azhar should have bowled the 18th and 20th over, and Curran maybe could have bowled an over more.  Batty and Peterson deservedly bowled their full quota though and bowled extremely well. I have to be honest the way they made the wicket look I wondered if it might be a more testing total than it first appeared.

I was made to look foolish as soon as Roy and Amla came out to bat.  What a couple of innings. Another failure for KP  Smile    Talking  of KP I didn't see him advising the bowlers at all this week. Last week he went up and spoke to them several times.

A big win in every sense as there are a few impressive looking teams in our section. I expected Hampshire to be strong but Kent and Glamorgan have surprised me and Essex have been much more consistent than usual. Somerset have been the underachievers for me.

Excellent performance and it's very pleasing to see Roy scoring heavily at the moment. With that innings he overtakes Davies to move into second into Surrey's all time leading run scorers in the T20 competition. Ramps remains first (c400 runs ahead) and is likely to stay there for several seasons.
