Andre Dirrell Making His Comeback

At long bloody last it sounds as though Andre will be properly starting his comeback.

He's fighting this weekend on Friday Night Fights on ESPN against Biosse (The guy Callum Smith beat a few weeks back) Not a terrible opponent as he is just starting his comeback. First fight in one and a half years and the fight before that one was 2 years back but supposedly he will be fighting more regularly after this one. Can he be any form of a force still in the Super Middleweight Division? He has terrific reflexes and skills but how much of that has diminished, and how much hunger does he have left?

No doubt he has the talent, every doubt whether he has it between the ears. Always thought he was the one guy whose style might trouble ward, but that was then, this is now.

I read somewhere that Ward and Dirrell are friends and claimed they'd never fight each other. Interesting given they both entered the Super 6. I would be surprised if Andre has the mental hunger to get back to the top. I just don't think he is mentally prepared anymore - the after hours punch that Abraham gave him has taken away his confidence in my opinion.

The problem is that I don't think he had much hunger in the first place Alex.

Has brilliant talents but he ranks alongside Solis in the waste of talent sector of the forum.

Shame really because he has fantastic ability and could win a belt.
