Once again the 49ers show awful playcalling in the redzone when the games on the line. Same as the Super Bowl in 2013 and the championship game last year they try to throw the ball rather than run it. Your one yard from the endzone and you don't give it to Frank Gore?

Redskins defense has been just horrible today.

If Griffen can't come up with a game winning drive here then the loss won't be on him... it'll all be on Haslett and that horrible defense of his.

Turns out it kinda was on Griffen... horrible throw to an open Pierre Garçon on 4th and 6 to end the game and our season with one of the most stinky incompletions that you'll see. That was almost Kirk Cousinsesque!

That's a really rough loss for San Francisco, now pretty much need to sweep Seattle to have a shot at the wildcard, Arizona looks like its got the division in hand

The Ravens were being propped up as contenders based on blowing out the NFC South.

They now lie bottom of their division.

The question has to be asked. Are the 49ers a playoff team.

Sat behind Seattle and Arizona in the division, GB/Detroit and Philly/Dallas will be in the wildcard shakeup, its a legitimate question.

They're not looking particularly hot right now, and the Cards form makes it very tough to see them doing anything other than fighting for a wild card.

On the plus side, Dallas will probably go 8-8, Detroit will go full r3tard again, and they will stumble in behind Seattle as the 3rd NFC West team to make the playoffs.

Colin Kaepernick just isn't a good enough passer to consistently win games. Doesn't do the bread and butter stuff of a QB to move the chains well enough.

There are probably eight teams in with a chance of the playoffs from the NFC. The Eagles, Packers, Saints and Cardinals are probably favourites for their divisions and that would leave the likes of the Cowboys, Lions, Seahawks and 49ers battling it out for the two wildcards places.

Dolphins v Jets is a divisional matchup so that's something a bit different.
Jags v Bills is indefensible.

Interesting to see the Dolphins and Lions return for a second year. Also interesting to see the first international series divisional game. I think the Dolphins have a good fanbase in the UK and a good experience this year and they are on the east coast so that probably makes sense.

Maybe it's a case of winner stays on.

I think it's an important statement if people stay away from Jax vs Buffalo. It would show the NFL that the UK likes the game but doesn't just want the crap games...

Browns are a nice feel good story. Have to make it count this year though, the stars are unlikely to align on a schedule this easy too often

Agree. On the combined record of their opponents the Browns have had the easiest schedule so far. That said the Bengals and Steelers are not far behind. It's no wonder the AFC North are all on winning records when they get to play against the AFC South and NFC South.
