In the next couple of weeks, we have an interview with Dave Meltzer lined up.

He has asked to come on the show to talk about how he rates our podcast 5*

If anyone would like something asked, please post it below.

Does he agree that his current ratings are not based on the high standard he had kept to for the previous 15-20 years?

Given the slew of awards he's been given by the Observer in recent years and how he has been the figure head for the critical and commercial revival of New Japan, where would Dave rate Hiroshi Tanahashi among the greats in Japanese wrestling?

Why does he never rate matches correctly? 

Why did he say CM Punk was returning in March and never did?

Why does he make stuff up?

What would his perfect PPV of all time look like? ( 8 matches, no more than 1 match for each person and 1 womens match )

Whats the best match he's ever seen that didnt get 5 stars, and why?

Quite an aggressive tone...

1. He'll say he does.

2. He'll say he was told that Punk would be back.

3. He'll say he doesn't.



I'm not a fan of many Wrestling journalists, more so since the invention of the Internet and everything was geared toward website hits and a need to put "new and fresh" information out on a daily basis, Meltzer is no different, he'll use his longevity and common sense to make educated predictions under the guise of a "Source" when things are quite.

You'd never ask a magician ro reveal his tricks no matter how shoddy some may be so expecting Adam to take this route of questioning to a journalist is unrealistic

I would like to think that he looks up to me and my views.

Just like Gavin does.

Gaffer, i think you are correct about all wrestling journalists, except for Adam, whose integrity sets him apart.
