The Fall
Not seen this on here.
Only heard about this a few months ago.
Watched the final episode last night.
Have to say I thought the show was very good.
Thought the acting was good.
Dornan & Anderson were excellent.
Great show over all, despite only being 11 episodes.
The ending was quite predictable though.
AND
The very end for me was a bit of a let down.
But all in all I enjoyed it.

Re: The Fall
Hi Westy - your comments are spot on.
Certainly some high quality acting. In addition to Dornan and Anderson, thought the performance by Aisling Franciosi* (had to look up the name on imdb) as the minx of a schoolgirl babysitter was brilliant.
Agree with you also about the ending being a bit of a let down after all the great stuff that had gone before it. Still well worth watching though.
One thing that I struggled with sometimes was to remember what had happened in the first series. I watched the episodes when they were first shown and there was quite a gap before the second series. You definitely were better off watching recordings closer together.
Something else shown late last year was 'The Missing'. I would highly recommend that although would warn you (think, this is right) as the parent of a young child that some scenes might really get to you. Stunning performance by James Nesbitt as the father desperately searching for his son - should win shedloads of awards.
* Certainly an attractive lass. One of the Message Board posts on imdb was headed, ''If she was a drum''. I'm sure you can guess the brief comment that followed!

Re: The Fall
I'm sure I'm in the minority here but I didn't like Anderson in this or Nesbitt in The Missing (a nasty character in his own right).
Agree with Guildford that Dornan and Franciosi were terrific. Looking forward to the next season.

Re: The Fall
Have to say, really enjoyed this series.
Really enjoyed series 3, may even be my favourite.
Good ending, and have to say thought Jamie Dornan was excellent in it.

Re: The Fall
Series three under way here in Melbourne though we are only a couple of episodes in.
Must say I couldn't see room for a third series but this one has confounded my concerns and is hinting at being worth watching ; so perhaps I should stay off this thread for fear of spoilers...

Re: The Fall
Anyone else think Jim Burns' secret (he's obviously hiding something) was that he was the British soldier who knocked up Paul Spector's mum?

Re: The Fall
They didn't really go into Burns story to much towards the end.
Wasn't he something to do with the boys home Spector went to.

Re: The Fall
Finished here last night.
Going against the tide , I was a bit underwhelmed by this third series. Some fine acting , etc - and a few explanations of motives and psychological tap dancing : but to be honest I don't think it warranted the extra season.
Watched it all though so I guess I shouldn't be complaining...

I agree, as much as i enjoyed it, a one-off 2 hour special could have wrapped all that up!
