When I checked to see who had won today's semi I have to say I was not only a little surprised about the result but the score looked a little odd too. So I looked for a match report and then I found a possible explanation.

The first set reminded me of a certain match with Del Potro. You know the one "You and your mother always the same".

Neither Del Potro nor Berdych look the types to be able to handle such bully boy tactics very well, did the off court outburst affect Berdych enough to throw him off?

I'm not sure what you mean? But I do like to read about tennis as it's nice to see what other people think. I thought the telegraph article was interesting. I don't know much about football but I understand that crowd emotions can get out of hand and that racialist or nationalist insults can't be tolerated in a football environment. Did you read the article? If so what did you think?

Just looked at the YouTube clip for the first time. Whatever she said it was definitely not yelled out as the Telegraph article says. I would doubt if anyone else heard it apart from the person on her left hand side. So that's inaccurate and it would definitely not be heard on court. She was silly being caught on camera  and should be more aware in the future.

However going back to the original post and disputed title I don't see how the Delpo incident where he brought someone who wasn't even involved in the argument into it has any relation to what happened on Thursday. No issue with Delpo. It was heat of the moment and he and Andy sorted it out at the USO.
