Botica will only ever be a good squad 10, nothing more.

I would love the Cips rumours to be true.

Would be nice to know who the DoR is at some time too

Rugby paper rumours say Lancaster or Wayne Smith in the running. Heard Deans and Blackadder somewhere too

If Wayne Smith is coming to England after his sabbatical then I desperately hope it is to work with Eddie Jones et al!

I said when he ruled himself out of the running for head coach that the RFU should be offering him whatever was needed to get him involved for after his year off. Hopefully they can pull it off but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't want to work with an international side other than NZ.

Delon seems to be surplus to requirements at Toloun. His brother his put of contract next summer so Bath might like the idea of an experienced utility back who likes 15 best and who might be able to convince his brother to come over and complete the all star back row with Falatau and Louw.

I was always a fan of Delon's playing abilities, would still have had him in and around the England squad now to be honest (if he' been playing in England).

He'd be a very good squad player for most teams, if he wasn't a tool as Yappy mentions. He has a good well rounded game with no major weaknesses other than his attitude and generally that comes out off the pitch. Into his thirties though his pace is likely to drop off a bit over the next few years.

He's certainly have more caps had he stayed here.

I don't think Bath need another fullback, unless Watson has been told to focus on being a winger by Eddie. Delon is still a good player but could he be divisive in the squad? After the Burgess fiasco that's the last thing we need.

No Daly is a better player. But Delon covers the centres and back 3, is strong in traffic and a good boot. I suspect he could play against 12

Well Homer doesn't seem to have been a big success, so maybe he's replacing him?

Tommy Bell definitely leaving Tigers as he wants to be first choice somewhere.

Looks likely we could also be losing Pearce as he's one of the few back rowers at the club out of contract and finances make it difficult to keep so many players playing eight on the books. Which is a massive shame as we'll probably lose a Leicester boy to a bigger contract elsewhere when ideally he'd like to stay and we'd like to keep him. Someone else might benefit big time.

Camacho, Benjamin and Goneva all likely to leave as well this summer.

Very good signing that, Hobbs has improved his scrummaging immensely during the last couple of seasons and is very useful around the park. He is huge and will be an improvement on anything you have bar Stankovich (who was pretty poor last night by the way).

Agree on Hobbs, he looks much better this season. I'd be surprised if he's coming this way and not staying with Wilson at the Blues.

Indeed it is. Has been quoted saying he is here for his scrummaging only and giving his best to help out the Dragons and he is still loving playing the game.

Stanko has still got quite a lot left in the tank. One of the nicer players I've met - sounds like a northern English Kiwi. This time next year he will surely have added "aalllrrriiiiiiiighhhtttt" and "innit" to his vocabulary.

When he left Tigers he said he was going because they'd be coaching opportunities at the Dragons. He was much loved at Welford Rd and it's no surprise he's popular at the Dragons. With a bit of luck you'll be seeing the benefit of having him for years to come.

Davey also reported he is likely to be heading back to tigers as scrum coach

Good we need something. Scrum hasn't been firing this season. Starts to raise the question of what Cockerell is doing if we have defence, line out and scrum coaches.

Exeter sign an aussie second row named Dave Dennis on a 3 year deal. Cannot say I know anything about him, but with Baxter's recruitment record he will be a gem.

Dennis plays more at 6, good player. Workhorse type, decent carrier, he'll be in the mould of Mumm I imagine. Good honest pro that'll fit into the Exeter squad quite easily.

Dennis played 8,6 and lock for Waratahs. He's a guilty grafter but probably not an Int player. Will be perfect for Exeter though.

You never heard of Super 15 winning Captain Dave Dennis? Shocked

He is a 6/8 in my mind. Great player and leader. Can't remember him much in the 2nd row I have to say but I haven't seen much super rugby since the Tahs won. (He was out injured then)

Cue for you to say you never watch it and it's muck. Laugh

Webber confirmed to sale to replace Taylor. He's been awful for us for about 18m now, so not a loss. Great when he first joined us, but really tailed off and now behind batty for the spot.

Apparently Craig Willis has resigned for Falcons which would put to bed rumours that he was coming to Tigers to replace Tommy Bell. A good decision for him personally IMO.

Dave Dennis is an excellent signing for Exeter. He will fit straight into the style that they play so effectively and his versatility will allow Baxter to rotate his squad a bit more.

I really hope that Diamond can hammer Webber back into shape and bring the edge back to his game that made many want him to start for England. At his best he is a fantastic tackler around the fringes and carries/offloads very well. Hopefully he can get back to that.

Would be a great signing. Need some more non-6N power in either centres or lock/backrow now, and a better 9 as Dickson must be close to retiring and I'm not sold on Tito

Just saw this. I think that Dennis is underrated in Australia - whenever I've seen him he's been absolutely superb.

If it wasn't for the Poopers of the world, he would have far more caps.  What a great signing.
