Rigondeaux joins Roc Nation, fighting on Cotto-Canelo PPV
Cuban slickster Guillermo Rigondeaux has finally ended his promotional impasse and joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Rigondeaux will fill the breach left by Andre Ward on the above named PPV.
Rigondeaux will defend his Linear junior featherweight championship again Filipino slugger Drian Francisco.
Hopefully Rigondeaux will be more active and go claim back the titles he lost earlier this month.

Too little too late for Rigondeux i'm afraid, already a forgottten man of boxing and lets be honest when he wasn't the forgotten man no one really cared about him did they
Probably beats frampton and quigg on the same night but if h does who cares. Lomachenko is the only fight really and loma is probably the inferior fighter but is younger and much bigge rand that with his skills should get him the win.

Rigondeaux has Andre Ward syndrome: all the talent in the world, easily the best in the division but nobody gives a monkeys. Excellent fighter but dull to watch. Shame really.

Though his clinic of Donaire was quite emphatic really given his limited professional experience. Got knocked down, outboxed and outpunched the puncher....nearly stopped him in the last round.
More exciting than ward, has stoppage power and is damn good. He would wipe the floor with everyone in his division which is why nobody wants him.

Rigo needs to stay active and fight anyone who is willing
Isn't his opponent a featherweight?

Personally I like him and hope he is able to get some decent fights now.
Exceptional boxer who suffers from a limited fan base and being too good for most people to want to fight him.

I don't find him boring - Amagasa fight was a cool little fight and he'll take fighters out if the chance arises. I'd love to see him face Quigg and Frampton over here.
