The Price is backrite

see what I did there guys.

David Price will return to the ring in April.

After being basically cheated in all 3 of his losses David Price has decided to give it another go and I am pleased that he has thrown his hat in the ring to compete against an exciting emerging H/W division. I still believe that Price has the tools to make a great comeback and he is still young.

We can't blame him for the losses Thompson was juiced as was Tepar and we can't question his chin.

So heres to the return of David Price

He fights too scared now to make any dents in the division. Anyone with sense would realise that. Couldn't even see him beating Del Boy types.

Nonsense

Two things he had going for him were power and a good jab. Once he stops using the jab he has nothing to protect one of the glassiest chins in boxing. Teper was banned however Price fought that fight like a man devoid of all confidence in his ability.

He'll be knocked out again soon. Shame.

If he had a chin, he would be lethal. My brother thinks AJ is another Price. Obviously not as bad, but he thinks he will get stopped soon.

I'm not too sure.

Cheated or not, he's damaged goods.

Notwithstanding the fact that he'll now be gun shy he still can't seem to understand that bouncing around on your toes trying to do a welterweight impression isn't exactly sensible for a guy of his dimensions. He also doesn't use a jab. He literally uses his left hand to either play pattercake with his opponent's lead hand or just tap them with it to try and follow through with his right. I'd say these are more his fundamental problems that will stop him from going anywhere above domestic level.

He can develop a jab its not rocket science and he needs one you're right about that.

He's 32, if he hasn't learned how to jab properly before now, he's never going to.

I could possibly forgive him the first loss to Thompson as a burst eardrum is no f*cking joke (I've done both of mine) but the 2nd loss was poor. Lennox Lewis was utterly at sea as to what to do with the lad. He's a bag of nerves and has no confidence despite all his talk. The third loss just summed him up completely, he's not cut out to be a boxer. His chin is definitely suspect and any half decent fighter should be zeroing in on it within the first 10 seconds of a fight with Price knowing that it won't be long before then land a big one.

A KO defeat can change a man beyond all recognition.........look at Frank Maloney!

Throw in Marty Rogan and Kevin McBride for a fatal four way.

Teper was so basic and useless any decent fighter shouldn't lose regardless of juice..
