After four days of play there was finally something to separate BlueCoverman and Raycastleunited and it's name was Ben Crane.  Their five other scoring picks, including two of the runner ups in DJ and Rahm, matched but Blue's pick of Crane earned him the deciding points.  Davie, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, McLaren, and Pedro all had five scoring picks of varying quality.  AlciG, Beninho, EmmDee57, Owen10ozzy, Pedro, Sand, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had three scoring picks of verying quality.  GolferMartin and Super_Realist both had two scoring picks while Eyetoldyouso and LadyPutt had one scoring pick each.

The low round of the day was 63 and three players managed to shoot -9.  Two of them were picks; Geoff Ogilvy earned points for EmmDee57 and Kwinigolfer while George Coetzee earned points for I'm Never Wrong.  Brian Harman was the other player.

With no European Tour event there is just one event before the final major of the year the USPGA Championship.  The PGA Tour heads North to Canada and Glen Abbey Golf Course.  Jason Day headlines the field as both world number one and defending champion.  He's joined by fellow top tenner and US Open Champion, Dustin Johnson.  Other former champions in the field include Brandt Snedeker, Sean O'Hair, Carl Pettersson, Chez Reavie, back to back winner Jim Furyk, and Vijay Singh.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

The RBC Canadian Open saw two Fantasy League picks share the lead after rounds of 66.  TheCleaver's Luke List posted his score early and Dustin Johnson from the afternoon wave matched it.  AlciG, Beninho, BlueCoverman, Davie, EmmDee57, GolferMartin, McLaren, Pedro, Raycastleunited, Sand, and SetupDetermines all picked DJ.

The equally popular Jon Rahm shot a round of 67 and the not quite so popular Chesson Hadley did the same.  They were the other two picks to score points in round one.  AlciG, Beninho, BlueCoverman, Davie, EmmDee57, Pedro, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines also picked one of these two to add to their points tally while I'm Never Wrong, LadyPutt, SirBenson, and Super_Realist were also able to get off the mark.

Was it as easy as Super tells us then Grumps? Are we getting a blow-by-blow account?

Weather was great yesterday, sun was shining and it was warm, so he has no excuses.

I was surprised how short it plays off the yellows. Scoring wise I was +2 on the front, +9 on the back. Wheels fell off on 14 and doubled 16 by finding the furthest fairway bunker; caddie was surprised it went in there on the line he gave me. Did make a four on the Road Hole which was really nice.

After four days of play there was finally something to separate BlueCoverman and Raycastleunited and it's name was Ben Crane. Their five other scoring picks, including two of the runner ups in DJ and Rahm, matched but Blue's pick of Crane earned him the deciding points. Davie, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, McLaren, and Pedro all had five scoring picks of varying quality. AlciG, Beninho, EmmDee57, Owen10ozzy, Pedro, Sand, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had three scoring picks of verying quality. GolferMartin and Super_Realist both had two scoring picks while Eyetoldyouso and LadyPutt had one scoring pick each.

The low round of the day was 63 and three players managed to shoot -9. Two of them were picks; Geoff Ogilvy earned points for EmmDee57 and Kwinigolfer while George Coetzee earned points for I'm Never Wrong. Brian Harman was the other player.
