Alan discusses his time in the Man Utd youth system and his time with Exeter City.

Alan discuss a wide range of mental health issues within football, the stigma of having mental health in such a macho environment and the importance of Footballers having a life away from the game.

Alan's career was unfortunately cut short by back injury at just 24, he discusses how he got his life back on track and his current role as a lecturer in Sports Research.
