V2 WWC 2016- Semi Final B

The end is nigh, today we will find out who will contest the Final of the 2016 V2 WWC

This semi final sees a meeting of worlds as AJ Styles, Internet darling of over a decade finally getting his run on the big stage, faces off against The Miz who was born in the WWE system but is enjoying a career resurgence of late, both men have been outstanding this year but which one will take the final step and reach the 2016 V2 WWC Final

Remember from the 2nd round onwards each person is allowed only 1 vote per group!

The wrestler/act that doesn't qualify for the final will be entered into the 3rd/4th place playoff

If Miz has been gold then Styles has been platinum! This could easily have been the final.

Winner take all from this group. Miz might be a better heel and a better promo but Styles is head and shoulders above him from an inring perspective. Add to that he's had the greatest rookie year ever and its hard to look past him.

I fell bad Miz needs to settle for 3rd/4th as he more than deserves to be 2nd behind AJ

I've genuinely preferred The Miz

Gone for AJ Styles, his match quality has been above The Miz and I've actually enjoyed his promos since his heel turn as I think his accent adds to them.

The Miz has been great since the draft but I genuinely can't remember him before that which does influence my choice.

This really is a tough one to call.

Went AJ prefer matches to someone that can talk well tbh. Ive enjoyed the Miz expected this to be the final tbh.

AJ Styles

He's got great feuds and brilliant matches out of everyone he's faced.

I genuinely thought he'd be another example of how WWE usually treat top talent from other Feds and just be mid-card obscurity. He's given them no option. Phenomenal - he's done it all!

Miz has been excellent

If this was purely based on the previous 6 months.... I think The Miz may have just shaded it mainly because of how hard it is to reinvent your character when you have been stuck in mid-card obscurity for years so he deserves credit! However, outside of accidentally having a great match at Extreme Rules (Mainly due to who was involved in the match), I don't recall him doing anything noteworthy so my vote goes to AJ Styles.

Styles has been good but whilst some people talk about him and his match work, he couldn't do the character work of Miz. Think Miz is an underrated worker anyway, because of the same thing that saw Bryan criticise him and Miz reality and fiction.

Week by week I think Miz is more interesting, then AJ is a star at the PPV. If Elimination Chamber is a Smackdown PPV then Miz should be in that fighting for the top title

I actually think AJ Styles has been much more interesting than I expected though. His initial face run was a little boring but from the heel turn I've been consistently entertained. Considering how terrible he has been on the mic in the past, it was his main flaw in TNA and then it wasn't really needed in NJPW I've been impressed that he's been pretty good in the WWE.

I like The Miz but I do think his strength has always been in his mic work going all the way back to Miz and Morrison, he still is limited in the ring and that is always going to hold him back from being a big star. He unfortunately can't back it up.

I'd attribute a lot of Styles strides as a heel to his work in New Japan tbh, while he wasn't called upon to cut 15 minute promos he really nailed all the aspects of his heel character particularly in the past 2 years
