Fair point Hero, once your page Is up you are active for domestics.

What are the rules on bidding for TPs

If I bid TM value for a player, do I instantly get them or do others have a chance to outbid me .. not in the rules

Open domestic tonight? 24 hours after the squads were posted?

Also what's the rules on negotiating. Am I allowed to do sneaky private deals or does everything need to be posted.

Personally would go with the former as it's impossible to enforce.

Initially there surely has to be a bidding war of some kind. Later on I think that's fine e though

Domestics are open now if you have your page up.

Negotiating is required to be done on the pages, we can't stop people pming about this however i hope if people do it this way, they will post the negotiations on the forum after to show it.

The whole point of a draft was to avoid that guys, we aren't having a bidding war.

Also the TP bidding was only introduced mainly to help the start of the league, and there was a loophole in which you could wait out the 24 hours and just not confirm the transfer.

Anyone who negotiates privately with only one person is limiting their potential market, so I don't know why you would do that if you were selling someone. Give yourself as many options as possible, you can always pick the original offer still

You're right, was picking up on your comment specifically, more making a general observation that negotiating solely in private doesn't make sense to me, unless you are on the favourable side of a lopsided deal.

Yeah true, also I want the old version of TP's but im seeing how Hero feels about it.

Have the old TPS later is fine.
But initially it has to be a bidding war as we're all going to want the same players.

I'll say it again.

The whole point of the bidding war last time was because that was a main part of setting up the league. I'd rather have the old system from start onwards.

We don't need a bidding war. just limit it to 1 player a post and it'll be fine.

Also - This completely negates from me setting the rules as people wanted, i realise i didnt put it in the rules but initially i wanted to get interest and set the league up.

very true. You can't outlaw it as there is no way of policing.

Would be good to get as much of the activity as possible on the forum, as this will get people on here and stimulate other discussions/banter

Trebs the reason i dont make straight decisions on things is exactly for this reason.

I don't want to lose people from the league and my fear is, if i make decisions and people disagree, they will leave the league.

People have threatened that before as well.

If one of my starting players value goes up on TM, what will his lawyer value be - starting price or TM value at the time?

I understand with players I buy that it is frozen at purchase price, but I'm not clear on players I start with

They're frozen as of yesterday which was why Miky was adding values immediately so he knows what they were worth as of yesterday.
