If you get a bit of time, give the Newcastle - Bordeaux 1st half a go. Some unreal rugby from the Falcons, the Sowery try and last one of the half (when we broke from our 22 with the clock past 40) the picks.

The young Bordeaux 10 scored some crackers too, he looks a real talent.

Feels like we need a bit of a shake up in the league to get things moving and keep interest, no deals since we started isn't great!

What about some sort of draft from our existing squads?

Ie each manager has to make 3 players available from their last starting line up, including at least 1 EQ player

We then get 2 picks each from the players made available

Will shake up the starting line ups a bit if nothing else

Doesn't sound a bad idea, Bam.

I do find doing deals on here frustrating. Everyone seems to rate players differently, which is a good thing, but it makes trying to match similar rated players for deals very hard. Also noone wants to give an inch and would rather hold onto players for fear of getting the bad end of a deal (myself included!).

I've been after front 5 players since the start and have a plethora of backs to offer in a deal... has been difficult so far though.

Also where is Flux?

Yeah its been more difficult with the start up players, I've been trying to get some back rowers in with little success

Not sure where Flux is, imagine he's busy in the lead up to Xmas

Just think we're losing momentum before we've even got going now that the squads are so settled. Would need to be more or less unanimous agreement before we did the draft idea though

Not sure about the draft idea.

There's been a few deals, guess we need everybody to be a bit more active in that regard. It's tougher to deal now as previously mentioned, people are scared to lose out.

The extra foreigns and budgets should help. I think sides need to get a few more in before any real dealing starts.

People generally don't want to trade a foreign player just after they get him.

I think we need to divvy out responsibility for sections of the game first and foremost. Then think about a way to spice up squads.

Flux is clearly struggling for time so we should take on some responsibility each.

Domestic bids, Releases, budgets can be done by those with time.

I am happy to do a match thread this week but wouldn't know what the Euro Fixtures would be? Could anyone help out with who is playing who?

Happy to maintain budgets again

I PM'd Flux about the Euro games, should we consider just scrapping Europe for this season? Gives us time to catch up, and I'm not sure how much we'd get from a set of Euro games over Christmas, especially given we haven't got a draw

If we want to do Europe this year, I would imagine the fixtures would just be as real life, given that we haven't got previous season league placings to base them on

The European Homepage is up.
What I am proposing is that we only play each side in the real world pools once. To maintain the European competition. The fixtures have been added to the fixture list.

Will get the results up for this week, and we can talk about what I can pass on to others, to help out.

So then..

1. The European games are live and need predictions. I shall tot these up on the 27th/28th, so plenty of time hopefully..!
2. Round Five AP thread is already up and ready to go, although you may want to check here before putting a side in...  Run
3. As it is the season of festive cheer, you have all received a £10m bonus to your budgets, this is with a view to a 'mini' foreign transfer window.
4. Finally, the 'mini' foreign transfer window will work as it has done in the past (blind bids etc), however, as we have all received a few injuries you are only looking for a particular calibre of player. This window, open from 0900, Friday 29th December, will allow you to sign any uncapped player, or a player with 5 caps or fewer. The window will close on Friday 5th January at 1700. So get your thinking caps on..

Otherwise, have a good Christmas everyone, I shall be on periodically!  Aviva Premiership - The Reset - Homepage - Page 5 3845856932
