Beach volleyball is expected to be one of the premier attractions of the Olympic Games given all the matches will be played at the historical setting of Horse Guards Parade. The event will run from July 28-August 9, with a minimum of 16 games a day during the preliminary rounds ahead of the knockout stages.


I did a few Trooping The Colour on horse guards parade but we must have been fortunate that we did it when the tide was out Erm

I applied for about £600 worth of tickets, got debited £136. Based on what I applied for I missed out on athletics, swimming and track cycling, but got archery and or beach volleyball. Smile

All the best tickets will be reserved to select members of the Olympic committee members and MP's, MEP and their families etc.

The Olympics clashes wih me washing my hair for 3 weeks so unfortunately will have to miss this major sporting event
