I know it's unlikely but what happens if the two teams make it to the final, is that the fourth game in the cup or is it only for regular league games.

If Edinburgh make the final they would need to beat Munster and Leinster away so unlikely to happen.

I think this game was a good game for the SRU to finish the regular season on to cap off a good year in Scottish Rugby. No longer a dark horse who no one sees coming just one of the top unions

Nah the 1872 is just over the games designation - if for whatever reason both teams met each other again it wouldn't go towards it.
