But the amount of diving Colombia are doing is embarrassing. The free kick award was a dive from Falco who a second earlier dived to try and get a penalty. Falco's spent more time on the floor.

Some had Columbia as favorites to win this group with Poland or Senegal second. The way things have turned out it may be all teams are of a similar quality. Columbia were careless in their first match against Japan having a player sent off after just a few minutes.

Whoever loses in the Columbia v Poland match will be out of the world cup tournament (with one game remaining).

Group H concludes before the England v Belgium game, so we will know what we need to do, to avoid them. They’ve got to overcome Senegal first though

Having seen Poland you'd guess Japan will get the point they need to be absolutely sure. Colombia vs Senegal more of a toss up.

Rodriguez off injured

The amount of diving from Colombia is infuriating.

Maybe under very hot and humid conditions the best tactics is to play slow defensive minded football in the first half and then more attacking adventurous football in the second half. Perhaps this could explain the current state of affairs. Columbia have been disappointing in this match so far - they have to win to progress and at the moment apart from an occasional threat they are heading out of the tournament.

Columbia look beatable. Japan look poor. England have a great chance of reaching the QF no matter which half they fall into.

The last 10 mins of the Japan game was a farce. Just passing the ball between themselves with Poland stood watching.
