I've learned quality > quantity, just save up and don't be impulsive like me

Save up to bring in someone world class, either in CM or upfront ahead of Dembele/Zaha I'd say.

I converted Lingard to CM from CAM, he's been superb, worth considering if you're staying with 4-4-2.

Yeah definitely. My team on the last FIFA was decent, just plugged away on the SBCs and picked up some decent players. 

I'm thinking of getting Mahrez and then seeing what I can get around that in CM or up front.

You have to buy a starting 11 for all the mls teams and submit them separately into sbc's to get him tho. You do get rewards for doing each team so you could theoretically make your money back from buying all the players.

Don't know how much it'll cost but mls players shouldn't be too expensive.

It may seem expensive but you have to take in to account that the Rooney card is a massive upgrade from his 80 normal card. It's like a second/third inform with those stats. If it were on the market I think it would go for about about 100k maybe more. And who knows, you may even pack an icon from the rewards so it's definitely worth doing imo.

Yeah but the Rooney card is untradeable, so once you get him, you may end up getting an icon to replace him anyway

Rooney would be a top super sub then I wouldn't mind him as a gamechanger off the bench.

Also I'd invest that money in OTW Richarlison fluxy. Dirt cheap atm and I can see him getting at least one more inform soon.

I thought about TOTW Richarlison, with my Spanish/Brazilian side, but ended up going for the much cheaper Diego Costa.

Richarlison looks great tbh. 5 star weak foot, 4 star skills, good pace and strength. Although I prefer him as a winger instead of in strike.

Started the MLS Squad Builder last night, 13k gone on one and most of another one, of the twenty three squads but gold packs rewarded per squad, first pack got me Casillas, all I need now is a time machine...

Mostly Squad Battles, bit of Seasons when no opponents available.

As Nadz alluded to, I don't have an online pass at the moment, can't help but feel it would be a waste of money when I don't have enough time to play everything I want to offline

I did complete The Journey and get my 82 rated Alex Hunter card, but sod using that. And started a Crawley Town career mode I probably won't devote much time to.

Got Ramos in a pack, doesn't fit my EPL side, so I sold him and have brought in Eriksen, CL Sane, Ultimate Scream Shaqiri, Walker and Davinson Sanchez. All of a sudden my side is looking good. Just need to win the occasional online game now

He's stats will change every full moon so it'll go from Pace & dribbling to shooting & defending so if get wrong ones he'll drop a fair bit Just buy Fabinho like everyone f**king else

Did the Icon SBC when it was fairly cheap EA haven't updated the scream cards in a while through sheer laziness so you may be alright

I saw the current Icon SBC for five untradeable Icons, looks tempting, although you lose an actual Icon, which would be the only downside.

Ended in Gold 2 on Rivals this week after a bit of a marathon last night, chose two Mega Packs over the 35k prize, got Donnarumma TOTW which sold for 29k, so after quick selling the chaff that came out of the packs, I made more than 35k and got a load of contracts and fitness things too

Was hoping for TOTW Salah or Kante though, hence the original gamble of choosing Mega Packs over money. TOTW Salah is a striker too, instead of winger, so that's gonna be one expensive card.

Got the coins for Rivals and completed the Championship SBC and got the 84 rated Curtis Davies. 

Moving onto MLS to try and get the Rooney one. Picked up Icardi in a pack for doing one of the SBCs. Also got a TOTT Dabbur card.
