Did two SBC Icon Loans tonight, no chance I'll afford them properly without throwing real money at it, so will just use Roy Keane and Sol Campbell for 20 online games.

I got the exact same pair on loan, as well as Rivaldo, just to keep me ticking over.

They're very good. I've considered Rivaldo and Ballack, maybe once the Keane and Campbell loans end in 3 games time.

Also did the SPL Squad Builder Challenge, got an 84 rated Kieran Tierney at LB as a result (other LB options of Mendy and Robertson were only 81). Also as Ederson was conceding too many soft goals I played Kasper Schmeichel who is playing well. Weird how these players rise and fall.

I had Kepa in goal, but tried having Leno for a while, but just found him shocking. Went back to Kepa, and just got Kasper myself so will give him a go.

Have any of you lot mastered timed finesse shots? A very OP way to score goals and a broken game mechanic tbh. I see a lot of pro's using it and it is the most effective way to score.

The Ibra flashback sbc is well worth it. Costs less than 200k and you get 100k in packs as rewards aswell.

I've got the Van Dijk and Bale specials on loan, although I've seen today that George Best and Shevchenko are next, may do loans for them next.

Ibra flashback is all well and good, but I don't have 200k

You don't really need 200k tbh. There's 2 parts to his sbc. The first part costs about 100k and you get a rare players pack as a reward, which I got Perisic and IF Sakho as my best pulls. Considering how expensive that Bale sbc is this Ibra one is very welcome!

POTM Van Dijk and Champion Bale on loan for another 12 games, instead of Stones and Bernard, for online games. Did a few more of the MLS SBC's now I could use that special Rooney card in my side with Ibra. Convert him to CM instead of David Silva (who I love but has no stamina)

Put Rooney in Eriksen's place and Eriksen in Silva's place, Rooney has English links to Walker, Stones and Sterling, and MLS links to Ibra

Question for you guys. I might buy FIFA game in the future due to I like the way UT seems to work. I am pretty dire at actually playing FIFA (but I do enjoy it) so it will be more about building up an UT.

Is the game geared up for complete novices or would it be difficult to get into if you haven't taken part before? All these different packs and cards of the same player sounds a lot more confusing from the time I last played UT - when it was just bronze, silver and gold!

FUT is better now than it was before in my opinion.

Playing online (Division Rivals) you might end up on the end of a few tonkings if you're not that good, but the main single player part of FUT is Squad Battles, you play other people's squads at random (controlled by the CPU), but you choose what setting, from Beginner to Legendary. The higher the difficulty, the more points you get. The more points you get, the more rewards you get each week.

It depends on how you are going to play UT. If you are gonna play mainly online then you will need to practice a lot. And I mean a lot. It is a huge stepping curve to playing against the AI imo. But if you enjoy the trading aspect of it to and are good at it, you could be able to trade your way to icons and such who will help you play better online

From my small amount of knowledge, that was what I was going to do. Glad it's the right idea

Had to play one more Rivals game this morning as I'd dropped from Rank 2 to Rank 3, played out a ridiculous 6-6 draw

Went 2-0 up, 2-1, 3-1, HT, 3-3, 4-3, 4-4, 5-4, 5-6, 6-6 in injury time

Got the TOTW Higuain card from doing Marquee Match ups SBC. 

Not sure whether I'll use him, despite having a mostly PL squad, he's quite slow (75 pace) compared to Zaha and Lacazette.

Sell him and improve other areas of your team I'd say do. Higuain dies have great shooting and very good strenght tho. Could be a decent target man.

Could always add a trait to give him more pace. If not sell and reinvest.

I got Chiellini the other day, the Serie A squad is getting better.

Saw the special Hamsik card went live, a beastly 91 rated, just need to raise about £300k to get it

It's a shame you only get the current club of the Flashback player. Torres in Japan, Ibra in US etc.
