*The show goes live on air with a recap of last weeks' main event and Clarke James' attack on Jackson Jackson before Perfect Jack intervened. We go to the commentary team and they go through tonight's card whilst informing us that there will be updated on Jackson Jackson & Marshall Murdoch here tonight. They deliberate on whether Clarke James should face punishment for his violent spree and how it will affect the 6CW Championship tournament. Renier Grohl is then out at ringside to a respectful round of applause from the audience. Grohl reiterates that he is not a decision maker and he merely speaks on behalf of the 6CW Council but he has been sent out here to deliver a few bulletins. Grohl lets us know that the semi-finals of tonight's tournament will go ahead as advertised but assures us that Clarke James' behaviour is being closely monitored. The same goes for Crime Lord (who was sent home last week) and anyone else who believes themselves above the law. Grohl says there will be plenty of announcements regarding World's End as the evening progresses but he can confirm that the Parasite Killers & The Next Big Things will collide at the PPV as the 6CW Council looks to revitalise the tag team division (drawing big cheers from the audience). Grohl ends with a warning to the 6CW roster that whilst their talent is appreciated they would be foolish to believe that the 6CW Council will tolerate insubordination because they quite simply will not.

*We're backstage with the arrival of The Wolf Gang. Robin Reborn is dressed in a suit and he looks pleased as he is led, by a security detail, to the brand new headquarters of the operation. Reborn tells Ojore and Drake to breathe in the new chapter as they step to the next level. Reborn says tonight they get one step closer to the 6CW Championship and legitimising their cause. He tells them that their oppressors can close their eyes and cover their ears but nothing can shield them from reality. Reborn walks to a golden lectern, situated in the middle of the room, and he climbs onto it before delivering a sermon about how taking the knee will move from a token gesture to a mandatory action as anyone who opposes them is brought to to justice. Reborn says 6CW will know how it feels to be chained by their new "massa" and that starts tonight with Perfect Jack. He will serve as the newest sacrifice of the war they are waging.

*Gazzy is preparing for his upcoming TV Title defence when Christy walks in. Gazzy ignores her at first as Christy tries to make small talk but then he angrily retorts about her meeting Uryu behind his back last week when he told her not to. Gazzy is angry that his wife has betrayed him and now his focus is off when he should be thinking about Reilly and nobody else, because he knows just how good Reilly is. Christy tells Gazzy that Uryu is her friend, nothing more or less, and that she will always have her husband's back but he can't expect her to just stop being friends with someone. Gazzy's anger softens and he explains to Christy that he just wants to keep her safe and that he feels Uryu has endangered her with this Ethan Shaw scenario. Christy appreciates Gazzy's concern and understands but she believes Shaw has the bit between his teeth now and he's not going to stop coming after any of them. She defends Uryu and says Shaw is a psychopath, who would come for them no matter what. Gazzy looks troubled and tells Christy he needs to concentrate on Reilly and then they'll figure it out, together, as they always do. Gazzy kisses his wife and tells her to stay safe as he heads for ringside.

*The scene changes once more and Daniel Reilly is with Fleur Michaels. Fleur Michaels first asks about tonight's rearranged bout with GazzyD for the TV Title. Reilly respects Gazzy and they know each other very well but tonight he's coming for the gold. He has two weeks of pent up anger ready to pour out and unfortunately Gazzy will be the first man in his way. He says they are both 6CW Originals and they seem be a dying breed so tonight they'll put on a show and remind everyone that the old timers still have what it takes. Fleur uses this as an in to ask about Jimmy Phillips and his vendetta against "legends". Reilly says it is nothing new, he's seen this plenty of times over the years, and there will always be some young gun looking to make a name for himself. Reilly applauds Phillips' effort thus far and admits he has gotten further than most but he's picked the wrong target this time and if he's foolish enough to try his luck again then he's going to realise that last week was just a taster of what will happen. Reilly says the "king of the streets" has returned and any pretenders to the throne are about to get got. But first up is GazzyD.....and in the next ten minutes the TV Championship will be his!

Bout 1
TV Championship
GazzyD (c) vs Daniel Reilly

ding ding

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen the opening contest is scheduled for one fall, with a ten minute time limit, and it is for the 6CW Television Championship!

*Cheers from the crowd

JT: We were supposed to see this match two weeks ago….but now we are kicking off tonight’s show with a guaranteed classic for the 6CW TV Title…

“Broken Dreams” echoes out and there is a huge ovation from the audience as the lights dim. Red pyros explode into the air as the challenger swaggers onto the stage…

MB: Introducing first, the challenger…...from Birmingham, England……...weighing in at 220 pounds…..the King of the Streets…..Daaannnnniiiieeeelllllll Reeeeeiiiilllllllyyyyy!

JR: Two time 6CW World Champion…..Daniel Reilly returned to the company earlier this month and already he finds himself in contention for championship gold following some impressive performances…..

JT: Performances that also caught the attention of the so-called “Haunting of the Hall of Fame” Jimmy Phillips…

HE: Jimmy Phillips has once again been overlooked in favour of a has-been…

JR: Daniel Reilly is one of the best we’ve had and he’s shown he still has what it takes to be a legitimate player here in 6CW….

HE: And Jimmy Phillips isn’t? He’s been on a tear for months…..where is his title shot?

JT: I understand Phillips’ frustration but I don’t think locking Reilly in a cupboard to prevent his title shot was the right move…

JR: Reilly retaliated later in the evening to show Phillips he wouldn’t be intimidated and now tonight he gets the opportunity he was supposed to two weeks ago…

JT: And the history between these two men is ten years in the making….two 6CW Originals…

JR: GazzyD’s first world title win came at Night of Glory against Daniel Reilly…..Reilly would then be the reason Gazzy lost that title to Geoff Steel some months later….

JT: But tonight is built upon respect…..Gazzy offered Reilly the chance, knowing the challenge his old rival would present and we are now moments away from the eagerly anticipated event…

Reilly climbs up into the ring and he removes his jacket as he waits for the champion to make his appearance. Silver and gold pyros then erupt and spray across the stage as GazzyD launches through a trapdoor…

MB: And introducing his opponent…..from Manchester, England….weighing in at 221 pounds…..he is the reigning and defending 6CW Television Champion…..GaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyyDDDDDDDD!

JT: The history-maker…..GazzyD is also a former two time world champion…..and a recent returnee….

JR: Gazzy returned at Born in Fire in November and won the TV Title in his first match back by defeating Ricky Nelson…...Gazzy has defended the belt on every show since…

HE: Except two weeks ago…

JT: That was hardly his fault….

JR: And he saw plenty of action anyway following an assault from the maniacal Ethan Shaw…

JT: Gazzy, just like Reilly, is also preoccupied with other things right now…..notably Ethan Shaw and also the relationship between his wife, Christy James, and Uryu Ishida…

JR: But right now both men need to put their issues on the shelf, if possible, and concentrate on the match at hand….they know one another so well and they are fully aware they cannot take each other lightly…

HE: You don’t just forget about men like Jimmy Phillips and Ethan Shaw, believe me…..

JT: Maybe not but GazzyD is a champion with an obligation to defend his belt and tonight his challenger is Daniel Reilly…..so that is his current concern…

JR: And it’s not every day you get a title shot so Daniel Reilly needs to put Jimmy Phillips to the back of his mind….he’s got ten minutes on the clock to become the TV Champion for the third time in his career….

JT: Daniel Reilly shared a tremendous feud with Hero ten years ago where they swapped the title between them before he went on a hundred plus day reign…

JR: Reilly chasing a sixth singles title here in 6CW….but can he overcome GazzyD?

JT: Time to add a new chapter to this historic rivalry…

Gazzy hands the title belt to the referee and then he and Reilly stare at one another. They share a smirk and then touch knuckles as they begin to circle the ring. The official holds the championship in the air for both men to see and then passes it to the timekeeper and signals for the bell…

HE: Both men should enjoy this bout because there is nothing but pain and misery in the near future for them….

JR: I think you do both men a disservice….two of the best 6CW has ever had….Jimmy Phillips and Ethan Shaw may be formidable….heck even Uryu Ishida….but these two legends will not be easily beaten by anyone…

A clock appears on the big screen to show how long the match has left as Gazzy and Reilly feint in and out before locking up in the centre of the ring. Reilly immediately places the champion in a side headlock but Gazzy falls back into the ropes and then shoots him across the ring. Reilly comes back and Gazzy looks for a leaping roundhouse kick but the challenger ducks it and runs the opposite side, returning with a beautiful dropkick takedown that draws applause…

JT: Fast start by both men but at some point, I’d imagine, Reilly will attempt to slow this pace….

Reilly grabs Gazzy by the head and tries to flip him up into a powerbomb position but the champion leaps off the back and bounces off the ropes before returning with a leaping headscissors. They get back up and Gazzy ducks a right hand into an atomic drop and then he grabs Reilly from behind…

JR: HISTORY MAKER!

Reilly twists his body through at the same time as Gazzy, blocking the inverted twist of fate, and he shoves him into the ropes before nailing a snap powerslam on the comeback. Reilly drags Gazzy back up and suplexes him into a falcon arrow……………….1……………………….2……………..shoulder up!

JR: These two men have got a catalogue of great matches between them….they are responsible for some of the biggest moments in 6CW history….and here they are, still showcasing their abilities eleven years on from their debuts…

JT: And even at this early juncture we can see that they are still capable of great things…

Reilly backs up in the corner and lifts himself onto the second rope. He waits for Gazzy to rise and then leaps toward him but the champion responds with a jumping heel kick to the mouth. The champion quickly climbs out onto the apron and nails a springboard legdrop to the back of Reilly’s neck (ala John Cena)…

JR: Gazzy looking to retain once again…

1.
…..2
..
………...thr-shoulder up!

HE: Both these guys need to keep an eye on the clock…..especially Reilly….because he now has less than eight minutes to get his hands on the TV Title…

JR: The countdown certainly favours the champion in this instance….but it also lends its hand to a higher entertainment value….Reilly, usually very methodical, must push the action when he has the opportunity….

JT: If he gets the opportunity because right now the champion is flying….

Gazzy pulls Reilly to his feet and looks for an inverted suplex but Reilly kicks his legs and lands back on his feet before driving a knee to the champion’s stomach. Reilly then gutwrenches Gazzy onto his shoulders and drops him with a fallout neckbreaker (ala Randy Orton)…..Reilly considers the pin but then scrambles to the corner…

JR: Reilly looking for maximum impact here…..FROGSPLASH!

The crowd applaud and flashbulbs go off as the challenger throws himself through the air and lands on top of Gazzy…………………….1…………………...2……………..thr-Gazzy kicks out!

JT: Reilly may not have gotten the three count there but he left an impression on the champion…

JR: Could be soon to be ex-champion…..RK-OH!

Reilly stalks the champion as he rises and then looks for the jumping cutter but Gazzy twists his body around and counters with a backslide…………...1……………...2…………….kickout. They both fight to their feet and Gazzy looks to leap over Reilly but the challenger catches him on his shoulders….

JR: POWER-NO!

Gazzy counters the powerbomb attempt into a falling hurricanrana that leaves Reilly sprawled across the middle ropes. The champion gets back to his feet and gives a signal to the audience….

JT: 619!

HE: Caught him….OH WOW!

Gazzy looks for the feint kick around the ropes but Reilly catches his feet and then he drags the champion back through and nails a hangman’s DDT, crushing Gazzy’s head into the mat………….1…………………...2……………….Gazzy just manages to get his shoulder up!

JR: You don’t come much closer to a three count than that….

JT: Daniel Reilly showing us all that he’s still the guy who won two world titles….he’s in tremendous shape and he is pushing Gazzy to his absolute limits here…

Reilly questions the referee’s count but is assured it was a two. Reilly looks up at the big screen and sees that there is five minutes left…

HE: Half time, Reilly…..you need a big second half…

Gazzy staggers to his feet and Reilly grabs him around the waist for a German suplex but the champion swivels out and then looks for a “skull crushing finale”…..Reilly manages to duck in and attempts a back suplex but Gazzy flips over his opponent’s shoulder and drags him to the canvass with a variation on the “Edge’o’matic”…..Gazzy staggers to the corner…

JT: SPLIT-LEGGED MOONSAULT!

Reilly gets his knees up just in time and drives them into Gazzy’s gut, sending him rolling away. The challenger stumbles back up and he grabs Gazzy’s leg…

JR: Anklelock…..Reilly has climbed to the mountain top before with this move….

JT: Gazzy knows the danger he is in here….

Gazzy quickly scrambles for the ropes and he grabs out at them with his left hand. Reilly, however, keeps hold and pulls Gazzy back toward the centre as the champion continues to try and stand…

JR: Argument there that the referee should have forced a break…

JT: Instead Gazzy is forced to endure more pain….WHAT A COUNTER!

Gazzy, sensing the imminent danger, leaps up with his free leg and, mule kick style, catches Reilly with a flip through blow under the chin. Gazzy rubs his ankle as he gets back up and then he grabs Reilly, who is seeing stars….

JR: Gazzy just turned a precarious position into one of great promise….DEEP IMPACT!

Gazzy hooks the arms of the challenger and prepares to drill him but Reilly battles back and swipes the champion’s legs before stomping on his gut. He then catapults Gazzy toward the corner…

JT: Gazzy landed out….Reilly has now idea….CROSS-NO WAY!

JR: INCREDIBLE…..THAT’S WHAT DANIEL REILLY BRINGS TO THE TABLE!

HE: WE’VE GOT A NEW CHAMPION!

Gazzy is waiting on the turnbuckle and then he leaps off as Reilly stands but the challenger has him scouted and nails the midair RKO which sparks huge cheers and gasps from the gathered crowd….Reilly sits for a moment with a smirk on his face and then covers….

1.

..

………….3!

ding ding ding

The referee’s hand comes down for the three when Jimmy Phillips storms the ring and stomps down on Daniel Reilly, forcing an immediate disqualification…

JT: That no good SOB…..Daniel Reilly should be the new TV Champion here…

HE: And now we’ll never know…..Reilly made an enemy of the “Haunting of the Hall of Fame” and now he is finding out what a mistake that was…

The referee tries to intervene but Phillips shoves him aside and stomps down on Reilly some more. He drags his rival up and throws him against the ropes before drilling him with a pop-up powerbomb…

JR: Jimmy Phillips just saved GazzyD’s title reign, even if that was inadvertent….he came out here to send a message and you can consider that message delivered…

JT: I’m not sure Daniel Reilly is going to be happy about that…

HE: He can complain all he likes but he put hands on Jimmy Phillips last week and this is his comeuppance…

JR: Phillips started this….he targetted Reilly on the same night that he returned….this has all been pre-meditated and you know it…

HE: Reilly is going to learn he should have stayed home…

Phillips has a smirk on his face as he leans over Reilly, who is holding the back of his neck. The referee once again tries to intervene but JP chases him off. Phillips stalks Reilly now and he waits for the veteran to rise before he runs off the ropes…

JR: GAME-CHANGER!

JT: Jimmy Phillips is a dastardly piece of (beep)…

HE: He is the future of this business is what he is…..and he’s cleaning the deadwood superstar by superstar…

Phillips thunders into Reilly with the clothesline “from hell” and then he basks in the boos from the crowd. He seems to be contemplating a further attack but GazzyD is on one knee now with his eyes locked…

HE: GazzyD should be thanking Jimmy Phillips right now...it’s because of him he is still the TV Champion…

JT: Gazzy doesn’t see it like that….Gazzy is all about respect and he wanted a natural finish to this encounter, he offered Daniel Reilly the shot….this is not how the champion will have wanted this match to end…

HE: Talk about ungrateful…..Jimmy Phillips should whoop Gazzy too…

JR: He’s welcome to try but he doesn’t look so sure…

JT: Phillips prefers when his prey is half dead…

Phillips and Gazzy continue to stare at one another and then Phillips climbs through the ropes, shooting a grin back in the TV Champion’s direction, and leaves up the ramp. Gazzy is handed the TV Title and he slings it over his shoulder before kneeling down to check on Reilly…

JR: Plenty of respect shown here by GazzyD and he can count himself lucky to live another day as TV Champion….

JT: GazzyD can rest up now and spend Christmas with his wife and family before the World’s End PPV….

HE: Not if she leaves him for Uryu before then…

JR: Not going to happen…

HE: No you’re right, because there’ll be nothing left of Uryu after tonight….

JT: You’re a sick man…

HE: Just being a realist…..Ethan Shaw is going to hunt Uryu down and punish him…

JR: I don’t think Shaw will be the only one hunting tonight…..when Daniel Reilly gets it together he is going to be out for revenge on Jimmy Phillips…

HE: That will be the biggest mistake of his life…

The crowd applaud as Gazzy helps Daniel Reilly to his feet and the two men hug. Gazzy seems to indicate that he and Reilly can meet for the title down the line and Reilly nods before leaving the ring with his rival…

JT: What a great way to kick off tonight’s broadcast...so much more to come yet on this pre-Christmas edition of Proving Grounds...

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 12:30

*Backstage and Timothy Allen is waiting to speak to Liam Wood. The UK Champion is just in the middle of talking on the phone and we hear him telling whoever is on the other end that he has a seat reserved for them at World's End and he can't wait for them to be ringside when he wins another world title. Wood hangs up and TA wants to know who was on the phone but Wood smirks and shakes his head, saying he doesn't want to jinx it. Tim Allen moves onto tonight's match with Clarke James and asks Wood if he is prepared for this new version of CJ. Wood says it seems like Clarke James is angry with the world and he understands that, he's been there and he's also faced men who have been in the same position. So whilst he appreciates CJ is dangerous, he doesn't believe it is anything new from what Vincent Costello offered in the past so he has the handbook on how to tackle potential lunatics. Wood says he is prepared for anything that might come his way and that is when Crime Lord attacks him from behind. There are screams and shouts as Wood tries to fight back but Crime Lord drives vicious knees into his gut and then launches him through the water dispenser, which crashes to the floor and smashes. Wood tries to get up but slips forward against a production case and Crime Lord runs into him with a knee that crushes his head against the solid base. Security pour in but they can't act in time to prevent Crime Lord delivering an F-5 on Wood, sending him crashing down on the concrete with blood running from his head from the shards of glass on the floor. Crime Lord walks away, snarling, as Renier Grohl appears with the medical team. Doctors begin checking on Wood as Grohl demands to know which direction Crime Lord went in.

*The scene changes and Clarke James is sat alone in his locker-room with his hood up. CJ rests his head back against the wall and seems in a contemplative mood. A backstage runner knocks on the door to let CJ know it's time to go and then quickly leaves. Clarke looks to a bag by his side and he pats his hand on it before getting up and leaves the room

*A graphic comes up on the screen advertising the "King of the Streets" versus the "Haunting of the Hall of Fame" for World's End, making Reilly-Phillips official for the PPV. We then switch to Daniel Reilly with Travis Sharp. Reilly says Jimmy Phillips has no idea what he has started but he's less than two weeks away from finding out. Reilly says his time for holding championship gold will come back around but when he's done with Jimmy Phillips he won't be able to hold his head up ever again.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 12:35

Bout 2
6CW Championship Tournament
Clarke James vs Liam Wood

*CJ is the first out as the commentary team debate on whether Liam Wood will be cleared to compete (following Crime Lord’s assault). James removes his jacket and ties back his hair, no emotion on his face, as he waits.

*We get a shot of Liam Wood being examined by the doctors backstage. They want to call the fight off but Wood point blank refuses to forfeit. Renier Grohl is there and he hears the pleas of the doctors but tells them that the 6CW Council have offered Wood the chance to pick his own destiny. Wood stands up, swaying slightly, and says he is ready to fighting

*The commentators are worried about concussion as Wood’s music hits and he enters the arena. The blood has dried on his face but it is clear that Wood is in a bad way as he gets to ring. He climbs up onto the apron and the referee looks concerned. He asks Wood if he is sure about this and Wood nods. The UK Champion climbs through the ropes but takes a running boot to the head from Clarke James as the crowd boo

*Wood is down and CJ mounts him with brutal right hands to the head until the referee threatens a disqualification. CJ is admonished by the official but doesn’t seem to care as he waits for Wood to stand up. He drags Wood into the centre of the ring and tries to scoop him up for a “death valley driver” but Wood elbows his way to freedom. Wood kicks CJ in the gut and attempts the “Manson Driver” but James swipes his feet and catapults Wood to the corner

*Wood bypasses the turnbuckle pad and his head hits the top of the ringpost which immediately spills blood once more. CJ then grabs Wood from behind and nails a three quarter nelson suplex, dumping Wood on the back of his head.

*The commentary team believe the referee should stop the bout as CJ stomps down on Wood’s head and then he unravels the bandages from around his skull. Wood is very hurt as James drags him back up into a piledriver. The three count seems inevitable but somehow Wood kicks out at two

*Wood’s pride will not allow him to quit as CJ stomps on his head some more. James drags him up and looks for a powerbomb but Wood lands out on his feet and nails a discus elbow smash that sends James to the corner. Wood follows in with a corner yakuza kick and then he beckons CJ out and superkicks his knees from under him. Wood runs the ropes for the “Psycho Crusher” and lands it. He takes an age to cover, trying to deal with his head trauma, and CJ manages to kick out at two

*Wood looks for a “lungblower” but CJ jams his thumb into Wood’s open wound and drops behind. Wood turns around and James flapjacks him off the top of the turnbuckle before hitting a Russian legsweep for another two.

*CJ goes high for a senton but Wood is back up and swipes his feet. Wood lands with punches before climbing up on the turnbuckle. He somehow manages to score with the top rope superplex but cannot take advantage with a cover.

*Slowly both men are back up and Wood dodges CJ’s attack before popping him up for the “World Eater” but CJ catches his knee and swings him around before release German suplexing him into the turnbuckle, leaving Wood in a heap

*The referee really wants to call the match off after yet more damage to Wood’s head but the UK Champion refuses. CJ smashes Wood’s head off the turnbuckle several times before dragging him around for “Faithless”. Wood battles free and then manages to backdrop James over the ropes onto the apron as he comes forward again. James gets up as Wood flies across the ring and returns with an apron spear that sends them both crashing to the concrete below.

*The referee begins to count and reaches seven as Wood stumbles back and rolls inside. The crowd are momentarily excited as the count reaches nine but then CJ climbs in at the final moment. Wood drags CJ into the centre of the ring for the “Manson Driver” but James succeeds with a backdrop counter. They both struggle back up and James runs at Wood but the UK Champion sidesteps and sends his opponent through the ropes to the outside once more

JT: Liam Wood has done amazingly well here….despite everything he has been through already tonight and still he fights….the UK Champion is hell-bent on getting his hands on the world gold…

JR: He’s lost so much blood….he has to be concussed….but still he is determined to end in style…

JT: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?

Wood heads for the ropes and leans through to grab CJ by the hair and pull him back onto the apron. CJ struggles and twists his body before we see Wood recoil in agony….

JR: That was a damn steel chair...I don’t believe it…..James pulled it from the ring apron…

Wood is howling in pain and clutching his head but the referee just believes he is struggling with his concussion and that his wound he reopened...

HE: Clarke James is my new hero…

JT: The man is an animal….I can’t believe the referee missed that…

JR: Wood’s body was in the way, the official’s view was blinded….

HE: And now Liam Wood is in a whole world of trouble…

JR: Yet another victim of Clarke James’ new persona…

Wood has blood all over his hands as he tries to clear his vision and Clarke James rolls back into the ring. The referee tries to block CJ’s path but is shoved aside…

HE: FAITHLESS….COUNT IT, REF!

JR: This shouldn’t be happening like this…

HE: But it is….one step closer….only one more to go…

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
..
…………..3!

JT: I don’t believe it….such a valiant effort from Liam Wood, the UK Champion can be proud…

HE: Proud of being a loser…..let’s talk about the main news here, Jeff….Clarke James had advanced to the finals…..he is one bout away from becoming 6CW Champion…

JR: Interim Champion…

HE: As if Marshall Murdoch is actually going to return after what CJ did to him…...James is heading to World’s End to secure his rightful place at the top of the 6CW mountain….

JT: And once again he has cheated….not only cheated but brutalised his opponent…..there are no limits anymore for Clarke James….there is no remorse and no mercy….he will literally do whatever it takes…

HE: Because he is a winner…

JR: He’s a real danger…...personally and professionally…..Liam Wood came out here in a bad way, granted, but Clarke James has exasperated the issues….he targetted Wood’s head over and over again before smashing a steel chair in his face….

JT: Similar to what he wanted to do to Jackson Jackson last week….Clarke James is a vindictive SOB…

HE: You should be careful how you talk about him then…..you are looking at this company’s next world champion….

“Blind Faith” is playing out as Clarke James kneels over the bloodied carcass of Liam Wood. James still has no emotion in his dark, calculating eyes, but he points to his wrist and insists that the referee raise his hand in victory. James stares down at Liam Wood for a moment, not an ounce of compassion on his features, and then heads for the exit…

JR: Liam Wood is going to need some medical attention here and whichever way you look at it you can chalk Crime Lord up for an assist too…

JT: Absolutely….Crime Lord’s assault left Wood vulnerable…..under most circumstances Wood shouldn’t have competed here tonight but the opportunity to be world champion again was too great….

HE: And look where it got him…..his own greed brought this on….

JT: No Clarke James brought this on…

HE: Clarke James wants the 6CW Championship, this is his time, and you cannot go in against him at less than 100% because this will be the outcome…

JR: You can be a Clarke James fan, Henry, but I have no idea how you can condone his actions….he is putting people’s careers in jeopardy….we are talking about people’s lives being ruined by his callousness…..Liam Wood could have been seriously injured here tonight in the same way Marshall Murdoch could be…..this is beyond the usual hazards of professional wrestling and something needs to be done….

HE: The man is must-see TV…..he is the reason people tune in right now because nobody knows what is coming next…..that’s why he is the man at the forefront and the right man to hold the world title….

JT: Clarke James as the representative of 6CW? I don’t see it…..

HE: Well in two weeks you will when he has that world title around his waist…..you cannot fight inevitability….

CJ stands on the ramp and stares back as the ringside medic enters the ring to tend to Liam Wood. CJ then turns on his heel and walks backstage as we get a glimpse of smiling Crime Lord and then a very concerned looking Perfect Jack.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 12:50

*Backstage and Renier Grohl has located Crime Lord. Crime Lord shows absolutely no remorse for his actions and wants a shot at Wood for the UK Championship at World's End. Grohl tells Crime Lord he's lucky to still have a job but Crime Lord calls his bluff and says they both know how much it would cost the "Council" to terminate him. Grohl says the title match has been granted, as long as Wood is cleared, but it comes with a warning that life could become very difficult for Crime Lord if he chooses to make an enemy of the Council. Crime Lord doesn't respond well to threats and urges Grohl to pass on the message because there is a long list of men who got on his wrong side and they aren't here anymore.

*Jenny McManus is hyping up her husband and The Fanatic in the backstage area as she seems to have taken lead of their future. They're all pleased that the 6CW Council has chosen to revolutionise tag team wrestling and this is their time to show why they should be the faces of the division. Tonight they'll deal with whatever is thrown at them and then at World's End they'll put the Next Big Things in their place at the bottom of the food chain.

*Clarke James enters the backstage area with his hood back over his head. Timothy Allen is on hand to grab an interview but CJ isn't interested. TA tries to press on the title picture and CJ's violent outbursts but Clarke stops him short. CJ says the whole world can hear the story after World's End when he becomes 6CW Champion, until then they can continue making up whatever stories they like. CJ promises that he is 6CW's reckoning and the day is coming.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Bout 3
The Parasite Killers vs ???

*The Parasite Killers are out first to find out who their mystery opponents are. Jenny McManus accompanies them and is very vocal from ringside.

*There is a nostalgic pop from the audience as Cody and Dylan Wright (Team Xtreme) come bounding out onto the stage. The brothers throw up their arms to the crowd and milk the reception before they sprint down to ringside.

*James McManus looks amused by the arrival of his opponents and offers to take the reins in the early going for his team

*McManus looks to control Dylan Wright with his technical skills and drives a knee to the gut before whipping him off the ropes. Dylan returns with a flying headscissors takedown and then he follows up with an atomic drop/neckbreaker combo. He tags in Cody for a sunset splash for a two count-out

*Team Xtreme whip McManus off the ropes and nail a double dropkick on the return. Cody hits a snap suplex and then runs the ropes but takes a right hand to the back of the head from The Fanatic. He turns to confront his foe but thinks twice about it which allows McManus to recover and nails a chopblock.

*The Fanatic tags in and he whips Cody into the corner with serious power before launching him high with a backdrop as he stumbles back up. Fanatic then whips Cody off the ropes and drops him with a big boot that scores a two

*Fanatic sets up for the “Total Elimination” powerbomb but Cody manages to scramble off the back and tag in his brother. Dylan quickly scales the ropes and comes off with a missile dropkick but The Fanatic doesn’t fall. Both members of Team Xtreme take to opposite corners and Dylan nails a flying spinning heel kick whilst Cody scores with a flying backstabber at the same time to take the big man down. Dylan covers but The Fanatic powers out at one and a half

*Dylan looks for a twist of fate but Fanatic pushes him away. McManus ploughs his boot through the ropes into Dylan’s gut, winding him, and that allows The Fanatic to nail a chokebomb as he comes back around. Fanatic covers but Cody breaks the count at two

*McManus tags back in and he runs in for a knee trembler to the skull but Dylan avoids and rolls him up for a two. They scramble back up and Dylan sunset flips over McManus into another nearfall. They fight to their feet once more and this time Dylan rolls under McManus to tag in his brother. Cody springboards back in with an overhand neckbreaker on McManus and then the brothers score with a tandem splash/legdrop combo from opposite turnbuckles (ala The Hardyz). The brothers run over and dropkick Fanatic’s knees to knock him off the apron and then they cover but Jenny McManus places her husband’s foot on the ropes.

*Cody hits a twist of fate and then goes for the swanton bomb but gets nothing but knees. McManus gets up and he drags Cody to his feet before nailing him with the “River Wensum Plunge” in the middle of the ring. Dylan looks to come to his brother’s aid but Fanatic drags him off the apron and then chokeslams him on the concrete floor

*Jenny McManus is all smiles as The Fanatic returns to the ring now and James McManus gives his partner the thumbs up

JR: They said they’d been working on a few new things in the gym and we could be about to see it…..

HE: THE PARASITE KILLER!

JT: You don’t get up from impact like that…..

The Fanatic drags Cody Wright up and lifts him into a back suplex position before releasing him in midair and allows McManus to catch him and drill him with a sickening belly to back suplex (Team Alpha’s Grand Amplitude)….

JR: Cody Wright landed right on his neck…..call it a day…

James McManus draws a finger across his throat in front of the camera………………..1……………………….2………………….3!

JT: A few teething issues in the beginning but the band is back together….impressive outing for the Parasite Killers…

JR: They’re definitely back in business and that is a message sent to The Next Big Things….they mis-stepped once or twice in the early moments, ring rust is unsurprising after a few years away from the tag scene but once they clicked they showed their credentials…

HE: Tag team wrestling is back…

JT: The Next Big Things have been set the bar now….can they reach the same heights later tonight….

JR: Jenny McManus is impressed with her boys….

Jenny McManus shrieks with delight and applauds from the outside as the referee raises James McManus & The Fanatic’s hands. McManus beckons the camera in…

McManus: Follow that….we’re back and no team in the world can live up to that….I promise you….

JT: It’s great to see tag team wrestling back in 6CW…..I can’t wait for the reply from Ricky Nelson and Mike Hill in a little while…

McManus and The Fanatic join Jenny McManus on the outside and she raises their arms. We get a shot of Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson watching from the backstage area.

Hill: Time to show these idiots what a real team looks like…

JR: Mike Hill unimpressed by The Parasite Killer’s efforts but now it is up to him and Ricky Nelson to show what they can do…

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 13:16

*We head backstage and Uryu is getting ready for match with Ethan Shaw as we get a recap on the feud that began at Born in Fire. Travis Sharp knocks on the door and Uryu looks up expectantly but then bows his head when Sharp walks in. Sharp asks if Uryu is prepared for what is coming tonight and Ishida laughs. Uryu says you can never be prepared for men like Shaw, or Cassius, or Engel, because they are unpredictable and that is what makes them so dangerous. They don't have the same filter as a normal man and they will go beyond the realms of acceptability in order to inflict suffering on anyone who opposes them. But Uryu says that is no reason to hide away because it is important to confront fear and rise above adversity. Travis wants to ask about Gazzy and Christy but Uryu shakes his head and won't be drawn. He says men like Ethan Shaw will continue to harass and torment until someone stands up to them and makes them stop which is exactly what he intends on doing. Sharp jokes that Uryu is 6CW's very own superhero but Uryu waves that notion off and claims he just wants to stand up for what is right and protect those who need it. We get a shot of Christy listening from outside and she contemplates knocking but doesn't. We then see Ethan Shaw watching on a monitor and he puts his hand on the screen where Christy's face is and takes a deep breath as the scene ends.

*We have a further update from Doctor Suresh (Marshall Murdoch's surgeon) and he now that the swelling has subsided a little more they have been able to examine Murdoch's eye further and unfortunately the laceration was worse than first feared. The doctor says a further assessment is due on January 1st and that is when they will be able to determine the next step and if further surgery is required. That scene moves straight into Jackson Jackson who is sat in the backstage area. Jackson's eye has a cut on the outside of it and it is bloodshot but he seems in decent enough spirits. Fleur Michaels is there to talk and Jackson says he's been told to take the week off but the damage isn't substantial and he's ready to go at World's End. Fleur asks about CJ and their friendship but Jackson asks "what friendship?" and shakes his head. Jackson says he doesn't recognise the man that James has become and he doesn't want any part of him or the path he has chosen. Jackson says he tried but now he needs to look out for himself and his own career. Laughter can be heard as Robin Reborn & The Wolf Gang enter the scene. Reborn mocks Jackson and accuses him of crying over his lost friend. Reborn knows what will cheer Jackson up and that is watching him move one step closer to becoming 6CW Champion later tonight. Jackson stands up but Reborn smirks and points to Drake & Ojore, almost goading him to fight. Reborn warns Jackson that if he chooses the wrong path, just like his buddy CJ, then it won't be a scratch on his eye to worry about but the end of his career. Perfect Jack then enters the scene to stand at Jackson's side. PJ asks Reborn if he wants to start the main event early but Reborn just glares and then beckons for Ojore/Drake to follow him out. Jackson and PJ touch knuckles as the scene ends.

*Tyler Roth has arrived at the arena and he is seen asking if the Kramer Klan are here but nobody has seen them. Renier Grohl comes out to greet Roth and says everything is in hand for the contract signing. Roth wants to know where CK & KK are but Grohl says they have asked for extra security so they won't arrive until Roth is in the ring. Roth shakes his head in amusement and says he didn't realise they could make demands because if so he's got a few of his own. Grohl says maybe they can hear him out if he'll follow him to the waiting suite. Roth follows Grohl as the scene ends

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 13:18

Bout 4
Ethan Shaw vs Uryu Ishida

*Before the action begins we get a recap of the issues between Shaw-Uryu that began at Born in Fire. We see Gazzy/Uryu fending off Shaw last time out as he prepared to attack Christy. The commentary team debate on Uryu’s chances here tonight and if he is truly prepared for what Shaw brings to the table.

*The crowd give Uryu a heroic reception as he enters the arena and then we get a shot of Christy James watching on the monitors backstage, looking anxious.

*Ethan Shaw comes out to vociferous boos. He slowly makes his way to the ring and he anticipates Uryu’s baseball slide before dragging his opponent into the aisleway and drops him with a huge uppercut.

*Shaw drags Ishida up and he runs him forward before launching him against the plexiglass barrier, flipping Uryu upside down in the process. The referee urges Shaw to bring the action in the ring but he ignores the official and repeats the attack on three more occasions.

*Uryu is clearly in a lot of pain as Shaw pins him against the barrier and chokes him, causing Ishida’s eyes to roll in his head. Shaw stands back up and he stomps repeatedly on the head and body of Uryu as the crowd watches on in horror.

*Ishida is finally thrown in the ring and the bell sounds to start the contest. Ethan Shaw stalks him and then drags him into a ring-shaking spinebuster as the referee kneels next to Uryu and asks if he wants to continue.

*Uryu uses the ropes to get himself up and he taunts Shaw, urging him on, as his opponent crashes into him with a huge clothesline in the corner. Shaw drags Uryu out and snapmares him in the centre of the ring before unleashing a horrific kick to the spine

*Christy James is shown backstage once more and she looks tearful as GazzyD enters the room. Gazzy wants her to shut the TV off but Christy refuses

*Shaw drags Uryu’s head off the canvass and then repeatedly smashes it back down into the mat until Ishida just lies there, unmoving. The referee wants Shaw to make a cover but he doesn’t seem interested.

*There is a debate between the commentators on Shaw’s motivations as he begins to systematically stomp on the hands, arms and ankles of Uryu. He drops into full guard and hammers home with vicious forearms, which Uryu tries to block, until the referee threatens him with disqualification.

*Shaw drags Uryu up and dumps him across the middle ropes. He then runs the opposite side and returns for a “Bossman” splash but Ishida manages to roll aside and send his opponent into a tangle in the ropes

*Uryu’s body is wracked in pain but he waits for Shaw to get up in the corner and then hits a hat-trick of running dropkicks (ala Daniel Bryan). Uryu then follows up with a roundhouse kick combo to the stomach (ala The Miz). Shaw manages to catch Uryu’s foot on the last kick and shoves him backward but then eats a huge spinning heel kick as he rushes out on the attacked

*Uryu hits “rolling thunder” and then a springboard legdrop but only gets a two count. Shaw gets up and Uryu chops him down with three “Realisation” calf kicks to each leg before he goes to the apron. Ishida flies and lands with the springboard forearm but still only manages a two

*The commentators applaud Uryu’s heart and tenacity as he waits for Shaw to get to his knees and then superkicks him in the back of the head. Ishida heads for the top rope and looks for the “Split Second” but finds nothing but canvass as Shaw moves aside. Shaw recovers and nails a sit-out powerbomb but refuses to cover.

*Shaw tosses Uryu from the ring and then ignores the referee’s threat of a countout. He whips Ishida into the steel steps, sending the top half flying, and then he places Uryu’s head on the bottom base and stomps on it several times. We head backstage again and Christy is crying. Gazzy looks less than impressed as he leaves the room

*The referee’s count is at eight when Shaw pulls Uryu up, no resistance at all, and throws him back in the ring. Shaw walks around Uryu, nothing but cold calculation on his face, as his opponent just remains motionless at his feet. Ishida slowly clings to Shaw’s boots and then his pants as he tries to pull himself up. The commentators remark on Uryu’s resilience (something we have come to associate him with) but then Shaw pulls him up into the codebreaker, transitioning straight into the triangle choke. Uryu’s body flails momentarily and tries to fight but after a few leg twitches and convulsions he falls limp

JR: Uryu is out here…..the referee needs to stop this…

JT: Second week running that Uryu has been rendered unconscious….

JR: And Shaw has played a hand in both….but I dread to think what Shaw may do now Uryu is out because I don’t think he has any plans to stop the torture…

HE: You’re damn right he doesn’t…

JT: But why? What is Shaw’s endgame here…..

JR: WE MAY NOT FIND OUT TONIGHT!

The crowd suddenly erupt as “Limelight” booms through the airwaves and GazzyD comes sprinting out onto the stage. Gazzy unstraps the TV Championship from around his waist...…

JT: I’m amazed Gazzy is out here….I didn’t think he wanted anything to do with Uryu….

JR: Gazzy could see the raw emotion on his wife’s face….he knows Uryu is her friend and GazzyD is out here for her…

HE: He’s an idiot...now he’s going to get the same….

Ethan Shaw has released Uryu from the submission and momentarily looks stunned at Gazzy’s arrival. He scrambles to his feet but doesn’t react quickly enough to prevent the TV Championship from hitting him right between the eyes…

JT: That’s one way to fell the Body Snatcher...Ethan Shaw just got drilled….

JR: I think that may be the only way to combat this psychopath….

The crowd are cheering but Shaw is already starting to get back to his feet. Gazzy is stunned but he readies the championship belt again and swings it at Shaw’s head…

HE: I told you….

This time, Shaw catches Gazzy’s arm with one hand and then grips him around the throat with his other. Gazzy tries to struggle but he can’t break Shaw’s grip…

HE: Now Gazzy is going to pay….he should have let his wife cry because now she’s going to have two hospital beds to visit…….AHHHHHH!

There is a huge roar from the audience as Gazzy does the only thing he can and kicks Shaw right between the legs, instantly breaking his grip. Shaw stumbles away and Gazzy grabs the championship belt again before smashing it against Shaw’s temple, sending him through the middle ropes to the outside…

HE: GazzyD must have a deathwish….because Ethan Shaw already didn’t like him and now he’s going to hate him…..

JT: GazzyD is a proud SOB and he’s never been one to shy away from confrontation…..he and Uryu Ishida may have their issues but Gazzy can’t ignore his wife’s feelings….Uryu is indebted now, no doubt about it…

JR: But where does this leave us….because Ethan Shaw isn’t just going to back off…..Uryu and Gazzy are going to see him again, that’s for damn sure…

HE: And when they do, they will pay for what they have done…

Shaw has an ugly snarl on his face as he clambers up in the aisleway. He is considering coming back to fight as Gazzy takes up a stance and waits for him. Shaw wipes blood from his lip and then we see Christy James backstage with an astonished look on her face…

HE: I hope Christy is happy because she may as well have just signed her own husband’s death certificate….

JT: What an awful thing to say…

HE: It’s the truth….Uryu is nothing to either of them and they should have fed him to the wolves….but now Shaw is coming for them all and there’s only so much they can do to prevent him….look what he was doing to Uryu before Gazzy got out here…..that is the future that they are now all facing…..good luck with that….

Uryu is struggling with his injuries but his eyes are wide as he takes in the scene in front of him. Gazzy rounds on him, anger on his face, but then extends a hand and helps him up…

JR: An impasse?

JT: A truce?

HE: Don’t be daft…..Uryu has eyes for Gazzy’s wife, you don’t just overlook that…..Gazzy did Christy a favour but don’t expect group dinners going forward….

Gazzy quickly breaks grip with Uryu and we can see the two men talking. Gazzy doesn’t look impressed as he keeps pointing at Uryu and then at Shaw, who has retreated to the stage. Uryu doesn’t seem to know how to respond as Gazzy shoulders his title and leaves the ring….

JT: This turn of events may have just created more questions than answers…..GazzyD has saved Uryu here tonight but you have to wonder why? What is in it for him?

JR: Gazzy told Uryu to stay away from Christy last week and yet here we are…..and what about Ethan Shaw? Because that lunatic is not about to stop his vendetta…

JT: And we still don’t know exactly what that vendetta is or how it has come about….

HE: Shaw doesn’t like anyone and he has vowed to destroy the 6CW roster one superstar at a time….that is the crux of it…..and now he gets to kill two proverbial birds with one stone….first month in 6CW and he is going to dispose of GazzyD and Uryu Ishida….results like cannot be overlooked….Ethan Shaw is heading for the big time here in 6CW….

JR: He certainly looks like he’s going to take some stopping…..Uryu and Gazzy may not be on the same page or even reading from the same book but they may want to consider it for the time being if they are to keep themselves and Christy safe….

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 13:26

*Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson are hyping themselves ahead of their tag match and then they leave the locker-room. The Parasite Killers are in the corridor and the two teams exchange unpleasantries but Hill holds Nelson back and tells him to save it for World's End when they prove who the best team in 6CW really is. The Parasite Killers are smirking as The Next Big Things walk away and the commentary team hype the team battle at the PPV.

*GazzyD enters the backstage area and Christy James runs up to him and hugs him. She thanks him and kisses him but Gazzy just wants to go home and relax. Christy agrees but then Travis Sharp interrupts to tell Gazzy that the 6CW Council have decided he will defend the TV Championship against Ethan Shaw and Uryu Ishida at the PPV. Uryu is just entering the backstage area at the end of the announcement and there is an awkward silence and staredown between Gazzy/Christy/Uryu

*We get a shot of Charles and Karl Kramer sat in a limo outside the arena. Karl wants to get inside and fight Tyler Roth but his uncle waves him off and tells him to engage his brain. Charles tells his nephew that he knows what the plan is and that World's End is the watershed moment for them, so don't jeopardise it by acting foolish. Karl sits back and cracks his knuckles as Charles Kramer answers his phone. He speaks quickly in Japanese and then at the end of the conversation he says "you know what to do" before hanging up. Karl Kramer asks if they're here and his uncle replies "they will be".

Bout 5
The Next Big Things vs ???

*We get a recap of the earlier performance from The Parasite Killers before Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson make their entrance to the ring. The commentary team discuss Mike Hill’s history in the tag team division and debate whether he has found a new partner with whom he can achieve successful

*After a few moments The Bastions (former 6CW Tag Team Champions) appear on the stage. The commentators are stunned as it has been nearly ten years since the last appearance but they seem in great shape. Mike Hill is shown conversing with Nelson and discussing tactics when Crime Lord attacks both of the Bastion brothers.

*Hill and Nelson watch on in shock as Crime Lord drags Apollo Bastion up and he launches him against the steel stage structure with an F-5. Altair Bastion tries to fight back but Crime Lord kicks him between the legs and drops him to his knees. Crime Lord then delivers a running knee (Drive By) to his skull

*The commentary team talk about Crime Lord sending a message to Liam Wood ahead of World’s End but will the 6CW Council act now that he has defied them again. Crime Lord drags Apollo Bastion back up and smashes him through the 6CW announce desk (situated on the stage) with another “Lock n Load”. He then drags Altair to his feet as security and Renier Grohl rush out. Crime Lord is warned to stop but he runs Altair forward and launches him off the stage, sending him crashing through several more tables to the concrete floor below.

*Renier Grohl gives Crime Lord an ultimatum on behalf of The Council, threatening suspension, as the challenger to the UK Championship glares at him and then walks backstage. The commentary team debate on the renewed aggression of Crime Lord and if it spells danger for Liam Wood’s title reign.

*Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson are left in the ring looking perplexed as The Parasite Killers enter the arena. Renier Grohl has sent security backstage to make sure Crime Lord leaves the arena and then he gets on a mic to announce PK vs Next Big Things at World’s End.

*James McManus and The Fanatic come down to the ring for a preview but Hill and Nelson run to the ropes. Hill springboards into a shooting star press takedown on The Fanatic whilst Nelson front flips over onto McManus. They high five and smirk as they swagger up the ramp. McManus & The Fanatic get to their feet and they share an ugly staredown with their opponents as the action heads backstage.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 13:40

*Backstage and there is a fire raging in a bin. A shadow moves in the darkness and we see pictures of Uryu Ishida/GazzyD and finally Christy James being thrown into the flames. We get a very fleeting glimpse of Ethan Shaw's face at the end of the scene

*Robin Reborn is interviewed by Fleur Michaels inside the Wolf Gang's headquarters ahead of the main event. Reborn says tonight he will make history and book his place at World's End to become a two time 6CW Champion. Fleur asks about Perfect Jack but Reborn says it doesn't matter who his opponent is tonight or even at the pay per view because what he and the Wolf Gang are trying to achieve is much bigger and grander than any one man. He says they are here to serve a purpose and deliver the most powerful message this company has ever heard which is exactly what they will do. Reborn says he doesn't care about Clarke James or his anger issues because he'll be neutered if necessary and if Marshall Murdoch does somehow return then Reborn will take the other eye and give it pride of place on the mantlepiece. Nothing and nobody is getting in the way of their mission.

*Dante Phoenix makes his first appearance of the night and is speaking with Timothy Allen. Phoenix says he is as prepared as he can be for his match with Marty Helms at World's End but he knows he is in for the fight of his life. Tim Allen wants to know if "Hellion" will make an appearance but Phoenix wants to live up to his word and tackle Helms in his current guise. That being said he doesn't have full control over "Hellion" so he can't make any guarantees. Marty Helms then walks into shot and with a grin on his face. Helms says Phoenix is already getting his excuses in because he knows he isn't man enough to beat Helms in a one on one fight. Dante squares up to Helms and tells him he'll be at World's End and he'll teach him the lesson he should have the very first time he set eyes on him. Helms seems amused by this and he pats Phoenix on the head before telling him that he can bring his little "freak mask" if he wants because he doesn't want to see Dante's crying face after he's broken him in half.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 13:57

*We go to ringside as Tyler Roth heads out. A table and chairs have been set up in the ring as Renier Grohl presides over the contract signing. Roth isn't interested in formalities and he signs the contract whilst Michael Bird is making introductions. A whole security team then lead King Karl Kramer and Charles Kramer out to ringside. Roth looks amused as the commentators tell us that all of Kramer's royal belongings have been restored and replaced following Roth's vandalism two weeks ago. Roth rips off his vest and he goads KK to get in and fight him, telling him to leave the suits behind and do what they do best. Charles Kramer is shown whispering to Renier Grohl and then Grohl asks Roth to leave the ring so KK can sign the contract

Roth looks bemused but he drops down to the outside whilst accusing KK of "losing his balls". KK is visibly angry, his fists balling, but his uncle keeps a check on him as the contract is signed. Security are all around and they begin shuffling as Roth leaps back onto the apron and through the ropes. Roth gets a mic and tells them that for a businessman CK is a stupid piece of (beep). He promises to out the truth on "Korekuta" after World's End but first and foremost he's going to show the world why they should all fear the Reaper. Charles Kramer takes a mic to retort but Roth cuts him off and tells him they should always check the small print because he decided to make a demand of his own. The colour drains from CK's face as Renier Grohl points out a new clause and we learn that Charles Kramer will be locked inside a cage above the ring at the PPV. KK roars in anger as he launches the table over but that allows Roth to run in and pump through a knee straight to his jaw. KK falls into the ropes and then comes forward as Roth levels him with a huge discus lariat. Charles Kramer looks for safety but Roth grabs him by the throat and benches him into the air.

Security look to flood the ring but Roth launches CK at them and they all go down in a pile. Roth inclines his head at Renier Grohl and then he grabs one of the steel chairs and folds it up. Karl Kramer gets up and Roth knocks him down again with a huge blow before leaving the ring. The commentary team hype what has just happened and what will go down at World's End with Charles Kramer in a cage above the ring. Roth stands at the top of the stage with a smirk as Charles Kramer has an ugly glare on his face, wrestling with security to get to his feet. Karl Kramer is sat against the ropes with blood running down the bridge of his nose, his chest heaving, and his eyes locked on his rival.

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 14:10

*Perfect Jack is interviewed ahead of the main event. PJ says tonight isn't about Clarke James because he can't afford to turn his attention away from Robin Reborn and earning his shot at the 6CW Championship. PJ says he believes in fate and that he and CJ will have their chance to settle their differences but that is in the future. PJ admits that CJ is a lost cause and that sometimes the kindest thing you can do to someone you care about is put them out of their misery, talking won't help and sometimes you really do have to live by the mantra of an eye for an eye. PJ gives props to Reborn and his ability, he knows he'll need eyes in the back of his head because he won't come alone, and he knows he's in for a fight but he also knows that he's been written off too many times to remember and yet here he stands. PJ believes he is still the best in the world but talking about it won't prove it, going out there and getting it done is how he intends on reminding the world what "perfection" really looks like.

*Tyler Roth walks backstage and Timothy Allen tries to grab an interview. Roth says tonight was just a preview, a taster, of what he can do. He says Charles Kramer being locked in a cage was a masterstroke but the only thing that matters is harvesting KK's soul at World's End and proving that he and only he is deserving of a shot at whoever walks away from the pay per view with the 6CW Championship. Tim Allen tries to press on Roth's history with CK but Roth says tonight is not the night. He says maybe at World's End when he's finished beating Karl Kramer to a pulp, he'll open up that cage door and he and Kramer can have a heart to heart in front of the watching world. He tells TA it is a fascinating tale and he wants to do it justice.

*The commentary team go through the confirmed matches for World's End as we get graphics for:

*Daniel Reilly vs Jimmy Phillips

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 14:10

Main Event
6CW Championship Tournament
Perfect Jack vs Robin Reborn

JT: What a show, what a night….

JR: Tonight has been a classic example of how to build before a pay per view and we still aren’t done...the main event is up next and there is so much on the line…

JT: It’s the second of our 6CW Interim Championship Tournament Semi-Finals….earlier tonight Clarke James defeated Liam Wood to advance to World’s End….now it is time to find out who he will meet for the biggest prize in professional wrestling…

JR: And somewhere, Marshall Murdoch is watching this…..resting and healing, biding his time….

HE: If he has any sense he’ll stay away….he’s had his time…

JT: That isn’t going to happen and you know it….Marshall Murdoch is a proud champion and he was robbed of his time with that championship belt…..whoever wins this tournament will have to see him sooner or later and when that happens the whole world will be watching….

The lights in the arena go down and then three spotlights hit the stage. “Sandwitches” echoes out through the airwaves as Robin Reborn, Ojore and Drake appear from the shadows. Reborn performs the “Black Panther” pose in front of the camera and then beckons the camera close…

Reborn: Now you’ll listen….now you will hear our voice…

JR: Robin Reborn & The Wolf Gang have been on a mission ever since they returned to 6CW….they believe this industry is corrupt and rife with injustice….they have vowed to do whatever it takes to change that, to force this business to evolve….

HE: Not only that….they want 6CW to take accountability for years of intolerance and persecution…

JT: I’m all for change….I’m all for inclusivity and opportunities for all….but I believe Reborn’s energy is misplaced….6CW has done so much for him and his career….he should not forget that…

HE: Have they?

JT: You know they have….Robin Reborn was one half of the most successful tag teams in 6CW history, he held the 6CW Championship for nearly six months…

HE: Through his own hard work….he was given nothing…

JR: Nobody should be “given” anything in this business…..you earn it…

HE: And that’s been the case for everyone has it?

JT: Probably not, no…..but I fail to believe that has anything to do with the backgrounds of those who have been favoured…..unfortunately there has always been an element of pro wrestling that lends itself to corruption….

HE: And when Robin Reborn becomes 6CW Champion that will all change because the Wolf Gang are going to expose those responsible and make them repent….

Reborn stands with Drake and Ojore at the base of the ring and he seems to be delivering a whispered sermon to them. They all bow their heads together before they touch knuckles and Reborn leaps up into the ring…

JT: Reborn looks ready….absolute no doubts this is one of the most athletic superstars in the history of our company…..

HE: And he will be a champion we can all be proud of…

JR: If he wins….and that is a big IF because to even earn the opportunity he must defeat one of the all time greats in 6CW…

Reborn paces around the ring and then the crowd roar as “Perfection” rips through the airwaves. Silver and purple pyros explode into the air as Perfect Jack makes his entrance…

JT: Former two time world champion….tag team champion, UK and International Champion...one of the most decorated athletes we have ever had in this company….Perfect Jack may be a veteran now, he may be getting on in years, but there are many who believe he has peaked late….that despite everything he has already achieved in his career he is now reaching maximum potential…

HE: Absolute rubbish….he’s past it….an absolute has-been…

JT: He’s so past it that he has reached the semi-finals of this tournament…..so past it that at Born in Fire he had Marshall Murdoch on the brink of defeat and was a referee’s call away from becoming 6CW Champion…..is that what you mean?

HE: ….

JT: I thought so…

JR: PJ is one of the greatest technical wrestlers in history….and even now he is more than capable of beating anyone in the world, in my opinion...he has a hell of a challenge on his hands here tonight and whoever wins has an in-form Clarke James to deal with at World’s End but do not ever count out Perfect Jack….he needs one second, one opportunity, and is always one submission away from ending proceedings…..gun to head I believe this man will be the next 6CW Champion…

HE: You’re as delusional as Jeff…even if you’re right about his ability, which you aren’t, don’t forget he isn’t mentally prepared….he’s too mixed up in trying to turn Clarke James back into a toothless, spineless puppet….and Reborn will take full advantage of that…

JR: Nobody doubts that PJ is preoccupied with Clarke James and his self-destruction but, if anything, that should fuel him…..if he wins here tonight then he gets CJ one on one at World’s End and he can do whatever he has to in order to make his former “friend” see sense…

HE: PJ does not want to be in that scenario…...we’ve all seen what CJ is willing to do to those standing in his way….

JT: On the contrary, that is exactly what Perfect Jack wants….he isn’t scared of CJ and he never will be….Clarke James has turned his back on everyone who ever cared about him and PJ wants to make him regret that decision…..PJ felt he could save Clarke from himself and help him see the light but he now knows that isn’t possible...Jack knows what has to be done….

PJ paces the aisleway as he stares at both Ojore and Drake before climbing up into the ring to join Robin Reborn. The referee keeps both men apart as we get a shot of Clarke James sitting in the backstage area, sipping a beer whilst watching on the monitors…

JR: As long as CJ stays back there with that glass bottle we should be ok…..we don’t want any more career-threatening injuries here tonight….

JT: CJ has already booked his spot at World’s End, he has no business and no reason to come anywhere near here tonight…

HE: Clarke James can do as he sees fit….

JR: He can...but with Ojore and Drake out here too he may want to think twice…..that one bottle isn’t enough…..

JT: The man shouldn’t be allowed any kind of potential weapon in his possession….he’s already shown he can’t be trusted…

HE: He’s enjoying a celebratory beer, he’s earned it…

The scene returns to ringside as the referee is giving his final instructions to both competitors. PJ and Reborn nod their heads to show their understanding and then the referee turns toward the timekeeper to start proceedings…

JR: We’ve got twenty minutes on the clock or until this broadcast finishes….no winner within the time limit and I’d assume Clarke James will be announced as the Interim Champ….

JT: No winner within that time and the 6CW Council will certainly have a big decision to make…..but we’re getting ahead of ourselves...this match is just getting underway…..who is heading to World’s End to fight for the 6CW Championship?

HE: Reborn….no brainer…

JR: Promises to be an explosive main event here on Proving Grounds….no other company in the world is offering action like this right now….

JT: That’s why we’re number one...Reborn, PJ….who will face Clarke James on New Year’s Day?

Reborn is doing plenty of jaw jacking as both men step around the ring and then they engage. Jack immediately looks to take the back of his opponent but Reborn fights and struggles across the ring until he can grab hold of the ropes, forcing the referee to intervene…

JR: Reborn will be fully aware of Perfect Jack’s wrestling ability….he does not want to give up his back or allow himself to be taken to the ground…

The referee gets in between both men and separates them. They repeat the process again and once more Reborn clings to the ropes to initiate a break. The official steps in and Jack shows some frustration, which allows Reborn to swing his elbow back and catch his opponent in the jaw….

JT: Cheap attack from Reborn there but I cannot say I am in the least bit surprised….

HE: A chance to fight for the world title is on the line….you do what you have to…

Reborn quickly moves past the referee and he waits for PJ to turn into him before slamming a double palm thrust into his chest, sending his opponent staggering across to the corner. Reborn then sprints in and dives through the air with a “bionic” elbow to the top of the head. Jack drops down into a seated position in the corner and Reborn backs away before running back in and slides into a clothesline that smashes PJ into the bottom turnbuckle pad and allows Reborn to drift under the ropes to the outside…

JR: Reborn has quickly found his feet now and that speed & agility is going to be his biggest asset here in the early going…

Ojore & Drake continue to keep patrol on the outside as Reborn gets himself back up onto the apron. He beckons for PJ to stand and then he uses the top rope to vault back in and catch his foe with a corkscrew cutter….

HE: That is amazing….Reborn heading for World’s End…

1.
..
….2
..
……….Jack kicks out!

JT: Jack being forced to show resiliency in the early moments of this match….Reborn exposed one opening and he’s running with it…

Reborn backs up in the corner and he lifts himself onto the second rope before leaping into a fistdrop on Jack. Reborn immediately rolls to the opposite corner and he waits for PJ to get up before he rolls out again and leaps into a “rolling thunder” clothesline (ala Xavier Woods)….

JR: Jack was ready for him there….INCREDIBLE!

Jack shows immense strength and awareness to catch Reborn in mid-jump and hauls him through the air with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Reborn stumbles back up and aims a lazy right hand but PJ ducks under and rattles off a huge release German suplex….

JT: This is PJ finding his feet now…..and Ojore & Drake are right to look moderately concerned because they don’t want to see Reborn taking too many of these suplexes….

PJ rushes to his feet and he quickly grabs the legs of Reborn and attempts to lock in the figure four leglock….

JR: If PJ can get this in then we could be in for an early night….

Reborn senses the threat and he manages to use both feet to kick PJ back into the ropes. RR struggles back up and he runs at his opponent but Jack drops the shoulder and backdrops Reborn over the ropes and onto the apron….

JT: Reborn landed out on this feet here….Jack doesn’t know…

HE: He does now…

Jack turns toward the ropes and he eats an over-the-top kick from Reborn that sends him staggering. Reborn composes himself and then he grips the ropes and springboards…

HE: GOD’S POWERFUL WRATH!

Reborn leaps through the air for the “phenomenal forearm” but PJ manages to avoid it at the final second. Reborn loses his balance, a little, upon landing and Jack quickly nails a half nelson suplex that dumps his opponent on his head…

1……………..2…………….kickout!

JT: Both of these are supremely talented and just one mistake is enough for them to end proceedings….they have so many deadly moves in the arsenal….

Jack gets back to his feet and he drags Reborn up and looks to flip him for a powerbomb but Reborn lands out front, on his feet, and then just slams into PJ with all his bodyweight to send him away to the corner. Reborn takes a deep breath and then charges in after his opponent but eats a massive back elbow for his troubles…

JR: I felt that up here….Reborn seeing double from that impact…

Jack makes his move and he rushes after Reborn in the centre of the ring and grabs his right arm…

JT: PERFECT SLAM!

PJ gets Reborn up for the “Olympic” slam but Reborn counters with an armdrag takedown. They both rush back up and Reborn dodges PJ’s attack before springboarding off the ropes into a tornado DDT. Jack ends up in a seated position and Reborn runs the ropes before returning with a stiff shining wizard…

JR: Reborn may just advance off of that…

1.
….2
…….Jack throws his shoulder up!

JT: Wasn’t quite enough at this time….

HE: PJ is weakening, though, and Reborn senses it…

Jack is on unsteady legs as he rises and Reborn springboards again, this time nailing a one-handed bulldog on the return. Jack is all at sea but again he stands and Reborn lifts him onto his shoulders….

JR: Reborn has Jack cradled here…..that’ll do it!

Reborn spins around and drills PJ with the back to belly piledriver, locking Jack underneath himself for the pin….

1.

….2
……...Jack manages to push Reborn down off of him and transitions straight into the figure four as the crowd cheer…

JT: JACK WAS DONE…..AND NOW HE HAS IT…

Reborn fights, desperately, but the surprise movement of Jack throws him and allows PJ to get his legs locked for the submission. Jack throws himself back onto the canvass into full pressure as Reborn yells out in agony….

HE: How did he do that….he was pinned underneath Reborn?

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 14:11

JR: Perfect Jack is one of the best mat technicians in history….he finds a way to exploit any gap….

The referee is down on his knees and asking Reborn if he wants to give it up but Reborn shakes his head furiously and tries to drag himself toward the ropes. Jack is really locked in with the submission and he bounces up and down to crank up the pressure even further on his opponent….

JT: Perfect Jack has quite literally achieved it all with this move…..not even the greatest of all time have survived this…

JR: And I don’t think Reborn will either….

HE: Reborn is a man on a mission….he won’t quit, he has a a crusade to lead….

JT: Not so easy to lead it with broken legs….

Reborn’s face is a picture of agony as he leans back and stretches for the ropes again but finds himself a mile away. He looks at the referee and his arm is begins to raise….

JR: Reborn is going to tap here….he has to….

JT: OH CMON!

The referee is waiting for Reborn’s signal as Drake climbs up on the apron. The official immediately rushes over to block Drake’s entrance to the ring…

JT: I’m surprised it has taken this damn long for the interference…

HE: They’re protecting their brother….I wouldn’t expect you to understand, Jeff, but I’ve told you they are a collective, they work as one….

JR: Sounds like a convenient way to justify cheating….LIKE THAT!

The boos ring out as Jack continues to with the submission and Reborn starts to tap, only for Ojore to smash PJ over the back of the head with his metal war helmet from the outside of the ring….

JT: Perfect Jack should have won this match, he should be heading to World’s End but instead he’s been knocked cold by a sickening blow….

JR: That helmet is solid metal...you could hear the thud all around the arena…

Drake remonstrates with the referee a little more and then he drops down off the apron. Reborn is trying to get some life back in his legs, wincing in pain, and then he crawls over and drops on PJ as the referee turns to face the action…

JT: It shouldn’t be going down like this…

HE: But it is….Reborn versus CJ at World’s End…

1.
..
..
…..2
..
..
…………..3!

JR: JACK KICKED OUT…..HE LIVES ON!

The cheers echo as Jack manages to throw his shoulder off the canvass in the nick of time. Drake looks shocked on the outside and Ojore slams his helmet against the ringpost….

JT: PJ will not be denied…..the Wolf Gang’s cheap tricks didn’t work….

HE: Don’t get carried away, Jeff…...PJ is still on the brink of unconsciousness and Reborn is in the driver’s seat….

Reborn is on one knee and demanding a three count from the official but the referee gives clear indication of the kickout. Reborn gets back to his feet, hobbling slightly, and he spits in annoyance before he drags Jack to a standing position…

JR: Reborn feels this one should be over but I think he underestimated Jack’s toughness….

HE: It won’t matter in a moment…..Reborn is set to finish this now...GOD’S LAST GIFT!

Reborn hooks PJ’s arm over his head and looks for the cradled suplex but Jack keeps locked tight and refuses to budge before driving in with a knee to Reborn’s gut, knocking all the wind from him. Jack then nails a huge back suplex out of nowhere…

JT: Perfect Jack is one of the most resilient SOB’s I have ever seen….even on the brink he finds a way to fight, to survive and even conquer….

JR: What’s the next move here…..looking to the skies….

JT: Not his preferred method but sometimes you have to act….

Jack staggers to the corner and he climbs up high. He looks down on Reborn, who is flat to the canvass, and then he leaps off and lands with an elbow drop to the chest.

JR: Big risk paid off…..and now Jack has a chance here….

JT: But he’s got enemies at all turns…

Jack gets up, feeling the momentum build, and he beckons for Reborn to stand. But as he waits Drake runs around the ring to distract the referee again…

JR: It’s what makes facing the Wolf Gang so difficult because there isn’t just one….there is three of them at all times…

JT: And Ojore has that damn helmet again…

Ojore has rolled into the ring, behind PJ, and he puts the helmet on this time. He waits for Jack to turn and then charges at him like a battering ram…

HE: AHHHHH!

PJ swivels just in time and, like a matador, he sweeps to the side as Ojore charges past him and crashes, head-first, into Drake’s gut and sends him flying from the apron...Jack then rushes in behind Ojore and grabs his arm…

JT: PERFECT SLAM...PJ JUST TOOK OUT THE WOLF GANG!

The “Olympic” slam lands and Ojore rolls from the ring as the crowd applaud. PJ then scrambles back up and grabs Reborn…

JR: Oh cmon now….

HE: Referee didn’t see it…

Reborn lands a very questionable shot toward Jack’s beltline whilst the referee isn’t looking. He then gets to his feet…

HE: GOD’S ANGEL!

JT: Dammit, Reborn is stealing one here…

Reborn drills PJ with the “Wing Clipper” and he shrieks at the referee as he makes the cover….the official spins around and slides into position…

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
…...kickout!

HE: No, no, no, no, no…..

JR: Oh yes….Perfect Jack kicked out….The Perfect One wants the 6CW Championship…

HE: That was a three, it had to be…

JT: Reborn can (beep) and moan all he likes but that kickout was plain as day…

The audience bang on the plexiglass barriers and whoop in delight as the referee signals a two count. Reborn’s eyes are wide with shock and they narrow with anger as he rises to confront the official…

JR: Reborn will no doubt twist this to lend weight to his agenda of injustice…

HE: And he’d be right…

JT: If he put as much effort in to this bout as he did to complaining then he could finish Jack off here….PJ is on his last legs…

Reborn is slapping his hands together to indicate what the count should have been but the official dismisses him and tells him concentrate on the match. Reborn clicks his tongue at the ref and then he looks down at PJ and trash talks him. He speaks to his opponent and to the audience as he walks around the ring…

JR: Reborn wasting valuable seconds here…

Reborn nods his head and then he climbs out onto the apron. He beckons for PJ to stand up as he grips the top rope and then he leaps into the springboard…

HE: POWERFUL WRAAAHHHHH!

PJ suddenly sprints at the ropes and he leaps up into the centre to grab Reborn and delivers an outstanding overhead suplex from on high, sending both men crashing to the canvass. Jack takes a big gulp of breath as he stumbles up and then he flips Reborn onto his shoulders, nailing a huge Canadian backbreaker…

JR: Reborn’s done…..that will finish it….

Jack slumps on top of Reborn as the referee counts…………...1………………..2……………...kickout.

HE: It is Robin Reborn’s destiny to be a world champion again….this opportunity won’t be taken from him…

PJ staggers up and into the ropes, just managing to stay upright, and he wipes sweat from his brow as the referee indicates the match is to continue. Jack nods in understanding and he stalks Reborn…

JT: Jack has taken his lumps here tonight too….but he could be one big move away now….

JR: Robin Reborn is in the crosshairs….PERFECT SLAM!

Jack grabs Reborn’s arm and looks for the “Olympic” slam but Reborn leaps off the back and lands a raised roundhouse kick (ala CM Punk) to the back of Jack’s head. PJ stumbles away as Reborn falls back into the corner…

JT: Both of these men are feeling the pace….they’ve already given so much…

JR: And that’s why one big move could end it all…

HE: AND THERE IT IS! ROBIN REBORN TAKING IT BACK TO THE OLD SCHOOL….

Reborn crouches down and then throws himself into a forward roll before leaping through the air and catches PJ with the zigzag neckbreaker (World Star)…….he nods his head with a smirk as he covers….

6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving grounds Results Friday 18th December (World's End Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Sat Dec 19 2020, 14:12

……..3!

HE: This is a joke…

JT: PJ just will not be denied here…..years of being written off and told he is too old is driving him on….

Reborn is on his knees again and glaring at the referee with disdain. His chest heaves in and out and then he grabs PJ’s head and nails vicious right hands…

JR: Reborn showing his frustration now and he is beating Jack to a pulp…

Reborn lands ten huge punches to the face of Jack before the referee intervenes and threatens a disqualification. Reborn looks annoyed as he gets back to his feet and then he drags Jack back up and drills him with a “Michinoku” driver. Reborn heads for the corner…

JT: Reborn has Jack where he wants him now and as long as he keeps his temper in check then World’s End is mere seconds away…

HE: Just as I told you…..Robin Reborn is heading to where he belongs…

Reborn climbs out onto the apron and he starts scaling the turnbuckle. Ojore and Drake are back on their feet as Reborn nods at them…

JR: Robin Reborn heading to the top…..he’s won his biggest career matches from this point….

JT: He lands this and, as good as Jack is, I can’t see anything other outcome than Reborn versus Clarke James for the title…

Reborn reaches the top as interference echoes throughout the arena and all eyes turn to the big screen. Jackson Jackson is talking with a security guard in the backstage area….

Security: They told me not to let anyone through, Jackson…

Jackson: Dave….cmon…..remember when your missus was asking awkward questions about your whereabouts and you were getting more than muffins from the canteen, who covered for you?

*Dave the security guard looks shifty

Dave: You did…

Jackson: Exactly and I’d do it again, my man, because you’re a sound bloke and that Belinda is an undercover fox….

Dave: I didn’t see you….ok?

*Jackson winks and smirks as he steps past the security guard and heads further down the corridor to the new headquarters for the Wolf Gang operation. Jackson steps inside and lets out a whistle

Jackson: Very nice….very nice…

HE: Jackson Jackson is playing with fire here…..what is that idiot doing?

JT: I’d say he was admiring Reborn and co’s new digs…

HE: He has no business in there…

JR: Jackson was a little put out by The Wolf Gang’s taunts earlier tonight…

*Jackson runs his hands along the wooden walls and then he stands in the middle of the room and looks at Reborn’s lectern. He shakes his head and turns to the camera, we get a glimpse of Reborn watching from the ring with horror on his face.

Jackson: Nice setup, Robin….the Wolf Gang is legit….but I can’t help but feeling there is something missing…..I just can’t put my finger on it…

*Jackson feigns a thoughtful face and then he smiles wide

Jackson: I know...no organisation can be taken seriously without an official logo….but luckily for you I know exactly what kind of logo will make people take you seriously…..as soon as people see this logo they’ll know exactly what you are all about….so don’t worry, Robin, you finish up your match and I’ll leave it right here for you….

HE: What is he…? No, he can’t……

JR: Wow….

*Reborn lets out a angry howl as Jackson undoes his belt and begins to pull down his jeans. He grins into the camera and the ladies in the arena wolf whistle as he grabs his boxer shorts…

JT: Surely not….Jackson is literally calling the Wolf Gang out on their (beep)….

HE: He is going down for this…

Reborn, still on the turnbuckle, roars at Ojore and Drake to get backstage and stop Jackson from desecrating their new “clubhouse”. Ojore and Drake quickly rush up the ramp and disappear from view…

HE: Jackson Jackson is going to rue the day he was ever born…

JT: Jackson Jackson is once again showing his refusal to be intimidated by anyone, whether for the better or not…

JR: He showed it with Marty Helms and he is showing it again tonight…..joker or not, Jackson Jackson will take on anyone…

JT: Reborn needs to get his mind back on this match though….

HE: How can he? Jackson Jackson is taking a dump in the “clubhouse”….

JR: Because if he doesn’t then the 6CW Championship is about to disappear from his future….

HE: Don’t you worry about that…..FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR!

Reborn looks angered and then he stands up tall, taking a deep breath, and then he launches himself off the top rope into the shooting star press…

HE: Perfect Jack is going to pay for Jackson Jackson’s disrespect….

JT: YOU SURE?!?

Enough time has elapsed for Jack to recover and he drives his knees up into Reborn’s gut as he lands. The impact on PJ’s knees seems to cause some damage to himself and he rolls away, holding his left leg….

JR: Jack may have damaged something there….

JT: As well as Reborn’s ribs…

Reborn is bent double, wincing in agony, but the referee seems more concerned with Perfect Jack and his knee. Jack rolls from the ring and tries to put weight on it…

HE: There’s nothing even wrong with him….see, he can stand…

JT: Initially it looked like a bad injury but perhaps Jack is playing a little possum….

JR: But why? OH THAT’S WHY….

HE: THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS….

The referee is making sure PJ is ok as someone rolls into the ring, wearing Ojore’s war helmet, and then they charge forward and smash into Reborn’s face. The crowd are cheering as the helmet is discarded…

HE: He’s supposed to be backstage…

JR: Never heard of tape delay?

JT: It was all a ploy…..Jackson played the Wolf Gang….

Jackson Jackson stares down at Reborn, with a smirk, and then he dives from the ring. Perfect Jack sees Jackson disappear and then pulls himself back into the ring….

JR: And PJ’s knee is suddenly looking a lot better…

HE: They’re friends….they worked together...this is a disgrace…

Jack pretends to hobble a little and then he drags Reborn up, with very little resistance, and drills him with the “Perfect Plex”……

1.
.
..
..
….2
..
..
..
…………..3!

HE: I can’t even….what an absolute joke this is…

JT: The Wolf Gang got played at their own game…..they’re so used to bending the rules in their own favour but tonight they got mugged….

JR: And Perfect Jack is the ultimate benefactor…..Perfect Jack wins and he will face Clarke James at World’s End for the Interim 6CW World Championship…

JT: It was almost written in the stars….fate has determined that the former friends, former co-champions will collide in two weeks for 6CW’s richest prize….

JR: Perfect Jack and Clarke James have been on a collision course since Born in Fire…..and it’s fitting that if Marshall Murdoch does return then he will face either of the two men who were present at his downfall….the 6CW Championship picture just became a whole lot clearer and yet murkier at the same time…

JT: It promises to be a main event for the ages….laced in so much personal conflict….

JR: Laced? I’d say doused…

HE: Are we just going to ignore what happened to Reborn here?

JT: Yes we are because what goes around comes around and Reborn has had that coming for a while….

HE: Jackson Jackson will pay for this…

JR: I’m sure if Reborn wants to gain retribution then Jackson will be more than willing to oblige….but the talking point here at the end of Proving Grounds is that Perfect Jack and Clarke James have advanced to the tournament finals…..and on New Year’s Day they will meet….the question is, who will kick off 2021 as the world champion?

JT: 2020 has been one of the craziest years in history, for all of us, but we sure hope you have enjoyed 6CW as much as we have because it has been one to remember….

JR: It’s been one of the greatest I can remember….we have seen so many spectacular moments and matches….

JT: And we aren’t done…..we sincerely hope you all enjoy Christmas, folks, because you deserve it and we’ll be back on New Year’s Eve for the start of our two day extravaganza…..the year ends with World’s End and I cannot wait….thank you all for joining us, not just tonight but throughout 2020, we’ll see you in a couple of weeks….good…..WHAT THE HELL!

“Perfection” is blasting out of the speakers and the referee is raising Perfect Jack’s arm in victory. PJ leans over, sucking in deep breaths, as the crowd applaud and cheer. A “Let’s go PJ” chant rings all around and Jack looks thankful as rises and motions a belt around his waist. Reborn has rolled from the ring, anger all over his face, as a hooded figure comes through the barricades and rolls into the ring. PJ turns at the final moment and the figure throws powder in his face, blinding him….

JR: THE GODDAMN EYES….IT’S BECOME HIS SIGNATURE!

The boos ring all around as Clarke James removes his hood and stares down at Jack as he writhes on the agony and tries to clear his eyesight. The referee thinks about intervening but he sees the look on CJ’s face and thinks better. Jack can’t see but he gets to his knees and tries to grab at CJ’s legs, only for Clarke James to jam his thumb right into his rival’s eye….

JT: He’s trying to blind him….he’s sick….

Jack’s screams fill the air as CJ continues to rip at his eye, sticking his thumb in as deep as possible, before security bombard the ring to break them apart. CJ is backed away in the corner but there is still little trace of emotion on his face…

JR: He’s an utter psychopath and he doesn’t even care…..there’s no emotion or feeling there anymore…

HE: And that is why he’ll be the world champion….he is no longer affected by personal feelings….

JT: He’s an animal and he shouldn’t be allowed to compete…..he is a serious danger to anyone who gets in his way….he is hell-bent on maiming anyone who opposes him….this goes beyond…..Marshall Murdoch, Jackson Jackson, Liam Wood and now Perfect Jack….he isn’t trying to win matches, he is trying to end careers…

HE: All CJ wants is his recognition…..and he’ll do whatever he has to in order to get it….he’s been disrespected too long and overlooked but everyone is looking now….everyone is paying attention finally….this man will be the 6CW Champion and when he is, nobody will ignore him….

CJ continues to be surrounded by security whilst PJ’s yells of pain fill the air. We get a shot of a medic assessing PJ’s condition and we see blood running from his eye whilst another EMT cleans the powder away and then the wound. Jack is telling the doctor that he “can’t see” as the show comes to a close.
