Sorry about lack of a promo for last show, I was on holiday and took delivery of our puppy, truth be told, I needed a break from life.

Will sort something with Marky.

Gunther is king. His match with Sheamus/McIntyre at Mania is everything I’d expect from a Mania show stealer.

I don’t like Logan Paul, that isn’t a bad thing, but I respect how good he is. Second match ever and he goes 30 plus with Reigns in a match of the year candidate, that is unheard of. WWE will have him in marquee matches over the next few years.

Ending of the Rumble actually had me off my sofa. I was absolutely buzzing. That’s how you build, that’s how execute . They went 20 minutes past the final bell and they still had the crowd in the palm of their hands.

I agree on Sikoa and I think he’ll be what Umaga would have ended up as. I believe they’re hyping him the same way and the finisher etc. he’ll be a world champ one day and I agree he’ll be key to the Bloodline finish.

As a person, Paul is a douche. But as a wrestler, massive props.

I'm also a fan of Bad Bunny. I'm always a big fan of getting celebs in who actually get the business and respect it.

That's exactly how I was at the end of the Rumble. Though, part of that was desperation for the glass to shatter and Austin appear!

WWE's biggest issue at the moment is the Women's division and where to go with it.

I was desperate to hear ‘If you smell’ at the end of the Rumble. I don’t care how bad the in-ring match ends up being, although I think it’ll be better than most expect, but Roman vs The Rock is just something I think fits The Bloodline story

I sound like a sexist but it’s not that because I genuinely like women’s wrestling, the same way I like women’s boxing but they both have the same problem and that’s the depth of talent. In my opinion WWE has about 5-6 women tops who can really go. Asuka, Rhea, Charlotte, Bianca and Becky. Maybe Bayley? But I believe the rest are just so meh and I hear all these good things but I watch them and there are so many botches and it seems so clunky. AEW is even worse, in my opinion.

I watched Charlotte/Rhea at Mania and that slapped for me. Sasha or Mercedes delivered and her matches with Bianca last year were special. But I just think 80/90% of womens wrestling is poor

Agree with most : The Bloodline is the best pro wrestling angle in many many years and the reason I switched the Network back on
Also agree that Seth Rollins is the best in the world
And that Logan Paul is very special
I also think WWE Cody is something else - he is used to perfection and the AEW arrogance is managed out of him leaving just the great talker & storyteller.
That Mania main event felt like one of the biggest matches of all time and I had gooseys during the entrances

Mania was excellent start to finish

But then typical WWE… I barely give a hoot about Backlash

Pro Wrestling Noah is the only promotion I watch regularly these days. As I’ve got old I have found I simply like big, old, angry, muscly men banging into each other repeatedly  

Don’t like AEW. I’ve tried so many times but it’s too frantic, roster too fat with far too many people who don’t look like wrestlers, nobody sells & it’s just hours on end of convoluted spots that look unnatural. Still love Kenny though and I’m tempted by Wembley just to see him. They’ve done an awesome job the number of tickets they have sold for that show. Fair play

Was reading that it was changed from him hosting because the higher ups were comfortable that Bunny could go and deliver.

Not sure I completely agree about it being poor, there have been some epic matches over the years. Problem is, the roster has stagnated and some of the decent talent have been passed on.

Shayna is a classic example of this. She was a complete badass in NXT, but hasn't been given that role on the main roster.

Natalya needs to do one. They should have broke the bank to keep Kairi. Ronda should be marquee like Brock was, and give her a mouthpiece.

Lacey Evans is a waste, get rid. Candice and Dakota aren't interesting enough.

Outside the main names, Raquel and Iyo Skye are very good. I think Indi and Zoey Stark will be stars.

In NXT, Sol Ruca, Tiffany Stratton, Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez, Jayne, Dolin are potential stars.

I'm going to be honest, Lynch is over-rated as a Wrestlter.

I just think the majority of them are uninteresting and meh but that’s just me.

Like I said I’ve watched some great women’s matches and I know Kairi and Iyo are capable of great things but never expect WWE to pull it off, the same way they messed up Asuka after she came up from NXT

Forgot about Shayna to be honest, she should have been world champ coming off of NXT but they ballsed that up too.

Agree with Demon about AEW and the false finishes. Finishers mean nothing and I think that really harms the product

I don't get the hype around Jade Cargill either. Just doesn't do anything for me.

Jade Cargill hasn't really improved at all. She looks the part, but still gets carried by better wrestlers far too often

I see your point on that, but I feel it's because merch selling tops fan responses, and as such, they become overbooked. Belair is a classic example of that. She's an awesome wrestler, but nothing stands out about her personality wise.

I think Ripley has been overshadowed as part of the Judgement Day.

Demon (Hey!) is spot on about AEW, especially about them being believable. Britt Baker has a better physique than Adam Cole.

Jade Cargill is awful in the ring as well.

Bianca Belair is probably my favourite women’s wrestler. Everything in-ring just works but I agree there’s little personality or WWE have done little to explore that. Also agree on Lynch, she’s overhyped and easily the poorest of the ‘Four Horsewomen’.

Well Dominik Mysterio has become the standout star of Judgment Day and that was more from a fluke than anything else for me. The jail entrance at Mania was spectacular. That being said I think Damien Priest is exceptional and we all know about Balor. Shame for Rhea but she is somewhat of an afterthought now

Lynch as 'The Man' worked, because it wasn't about her wrestling ability, it was her persona. Like Cena. She tries very hard, but if anything she's trying too hard.

I can't work out if Dom has legit heat, or X-Pac heat, but it's working. Priest has been superb since coming to the main roster, i've seen Devlin (McDonagh) will be joining them as well. It's always the danger putting a female in that kind of group. Chyna evolved in hers, but Ripley was already a star, and without another foil to go against, everything she does is outside that. Michin was a good foil but they got drafted.

Hard disagree on Becky Lynch. She’s a superstar in my opinion. Had more character than most of the women’s roster

Bianca is great. Her match vs Asuka was really good

Priest is just waiting for his moment. I remember seeing him against Hangman Page in one of those pre-AEW ROH/NJ shows and thinking he was a WWE Champion down the line

Not sure Rhea has been overshadowed. She is a big element of that group. Problem for her is her reign has begun by toppling Charlotte at Mania. There’s not many places to go after that. It’s the pinnacle

Superstar, yes. But she's nowhere near the best female wrestler on the roster. Infact, she isn't Top 5 for me.

Overshadowed in the sense that the Women's Champion isn't really getting any focus other than for being Dom's Mami. I get your point about Charlotte, and that comes down to the booking. They never had anyone lined up to step into Charlotte's shoes.

Asuka v Ripley could be amazing, they need to pull the trigger and have Asuka take the title from Belair now. She should've gone over at Mania.

Agree Becky isn’t Top 5 in ring

I personally don’t think they have anyone who can step into Charlotte’s shoes. She’s head and shoulders above everyone when it comes to being the complete package

No-one else has the entire package who can do it all and flip between heel & face so easily

So… who eventually beats Reigns?

On the Dom Mysterio thing - I think it was maybe Meltzer who said we are in an era of fan co-operation again. Don’t know if that’s down to Triple H’s booking, or fans just stopped being self obsessed, but I think Dom is just universally hated on a storyline level because they’ve done it so well, and his dad is so universally loved - and the fan base is co-operating and surprise surprise enjoying the experience more as a result

Who beats Reigns?

For me, there are 3 obvious candidates:-

Gunther - After his Rumble performance, the bangers he's put on, his ring presence and ability, beating Reigns would make him a bonafide megastar.

Rollins - Has always had Reigns' number and would be one of a few who could take the belt and not harm Reigns in the process.

Rhodes - Finish the story.

Outside shot: Solo.

I reckon Gunther will end up with the Raw title now he's gone over there.

I'd love to see Rollins vs. Reigns.

Would do wonders for Gunther but I’m just not sure he’s WWE top guy material in WWE’s own eyes. Especially as those eyes are now Vince’s once again

I want it to be Cody but I just don’t see how the next opportunity will feel as special as the one he just had. They would really need to turn the emotional screws on it even more somehow

Feels like the bolt has been shot on Cody, which is a shame. I'd love to be proved wrong but wouldn't be surprised to see him fed to Brock at the weekend.

I can see Brock smashing him at Backlash. This is the exact same angle as Cena/Brock after Cena lost to The Rock.

It was the right call not to put the belt on him, but I think they could've made a case for it if: -

1) They don't announce his Rumble return.
2) He comes out after the Rumble to try and save Zayn.

He's not back properly, and Reigns stayed on SD which is H's show, so he's probably protected somewhat.

With the length of the reign, whoever takes it needs the rub. So congrats to Goldberg.

Big E would be a terrible, terrible choice. His reign was a bust.

Solo needs to be able to talk so would be depending on if/when they turn him.

I'd say Cassius for 6WF with no confidence whatsoever.

6CW, I'm not so sure but would hazard a guess at someone like Dicey Reilly.

Just watching Summerslam ‘89 and the pop for Miss Elizabeth is insane. She was an absolute superstar. Like proper wrestling royalty and the fans loved her. What an absolute tragedy her loss is.

Interesting guesses so far. I do love the statistic side of things 6WF/6CW. Interesting to see that whilst some things have changed drastically over the years there are certain characters who are constant in around the main event scene.

The Saint has main evented 15 6WF PPVs which is the record across both feds.

Marky is correct that Perfect Jack had main evented the most 6CW PPVs with 14.

Max Adamson has the combined record across both feds with 28 main events

I understand some of you either have "???" as opponents or opponents who aren't actually active but this is about furthering storylines. I'm hoping as we get more active promoers I won't need to use as many stars of the past but I'm just trying to add some relevance and reality to the shows. I don't think booking everyone against each other every week is the best way forward.

But as ever if this becomes something that people don't enjoy, please give me a message.
