Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 18:40

*The show kicks off with a recap of some the action we witnessed last week

-We see the JJ Johnson/Clarke James confrontation
-Highlights of victories for Cameron Faith, GazzyD and Uryu Ishida before a clip of the Gazzy/Uryu/Christy James meeting
-The Marty Helms/Tyler Roth confrontation
-The controversial ending to Eddy Kent vs Scott Harris
-Liam Wood’s destroying of a picture in the backstage area
-Mike Hill’s after match attack on Lex Hart and subsequent interview
-The Eddy Kent/Lex Hart/Alex Walker dynamic
-The video ends with the Rock V2 attack and JJ Johnson kneeling next to him

*The show goes live on air from inside the Copper Box and the packed out crowd is making an amazing noise as “All of the lights” plays from the speakers. RJ and Jeff Thadeus welcome us to the show and tell us that we are in for a fantastic night of action. They talk over last week and tell us that Acer, Alex Walker, Drake, Christy James and Diablo are running the show tonight as JJ & Brandi are back in America. They wonder what the fallout will be from what we saw last week and are running down the card when “Next Big Thing” hits the airwaves and the crowd begin to boo.

*Mike Hill is in his street clothes as he swaggers across the ramp and climbs into the ring. He tells the crowd to shut up and listen, which only gets the boos louder. Hill says last week was just the start of claiming back every ounce of respect that he has been robbed of throughout his career. Hill says he has won world titles, main evented countless pay per views, fought and defeated the very best in the business as well as training countless stars from around the world. And yet all he ever hears about is your JJ Johnsons, Cassius Zhis, The Saint, Hero, Lex Hart, Max Adamson…..Mike Hill claims he has done more for this business than the majority of those names combined but nobody puts him on a pedestal, nobody acknowledges him. But now they will

Hill said when he saw Lex Hart talking after their match last week he just saw red. Lex Hart tried to destroy 6CW from the inside out and yet the fans where cheering for him and celebrating his loss, enough was enough. So he put Lex in his place and it felt fantastic. Because he doesn’t like Lex Hart….he doesn’t like the 6CWF fans…and he doesn’t need anyone jumping on his coattails as he makes it back to the top. Hill tells them when he is world champion once again they can forget about cheering him and trying to get back onside, because he’s never needed any of them and he never will.

Mike says the Board need to step up and if they really want 6CWF to be a success then they need him at the forefront. That means ensuring that he competes for a world championship at “From The Ashes”. Suddenly Lex Hart is leaping the barrier. The crowd go wild as he takes Hill down and begins to pummel him with right hands. Hill kicks Hart off of him and tries to escape but Lex attacks him again and the fight continues. Security are sent down to ringside to separate the two men as Hill is knocked through the ropes onto the ramp. Lex is desperate to continue the fight but the referee keeps them apart. The commentators talk about how Lex/Mike Hill are far from done with one another.

*We see Marty Helms arriving at the arena and we get a clip of what happened between Helms/Cerberus. The commentators talk up how Cerberus’ brother is coming for revenge here tonight.

Monday 9th March 2020

Flames suddenly burst from the turnbuckles and McManus turns in horror toward the stage as Cerberus comes marching out onto the stage. The monster is clearly in a bad way but there is fury in his eyes as he makes his way across the walkway…

JR: I didn’t think we’d ever see Cerberus again after that hellacious battle with Marty Helms…

JT: And yet here he is….the monster lives on and he’s coming to get him some of James and Jenny McManus…

HE: Time to get out of there guys…

McManus shields his wife as he waits for Cerberus to get to the ring. He doesn’t look ready for a fight but he takes up a stance in preparation….

JT: McManus knew that Cerberus was never going to stop coming…..that’s what Helms told him….whilst the beast was still breathing he’d never stop pursuing those that had wronged him….

CRACK!

JR: OH WOW!

Cerberus is just about to climb into the ring when Marty Helms runs down the walkway and lashes a steel chair across his back. Cerberus goes down on one knee as Helms turns the chair on its edge and slams it into the neck of his fierce rival…

JT: These two are picking up where they left off a month ago…

JR: I’m amazed to see either of them…..we’d had no update…

HE: Last I heard they were both in hospital….

JT: They look like they still should be…

Cerberus falls through the ropes into the ring and Helms follows him. Helms snarls at the McManus’s and then he begins to batter the steel chair down into any part of Cerberus’ body he can find…

JT: Marty Helms has always vowed he would be the man to get rid of Cerberus once and for all and you can see that he’s adamant on that….this is brutal…

What seems like a hundred chairshots follow until Helms finally launches what is left of the weapon aside. He runs his hands along the scars all over his body and then he drags Cerberus up and drills him with a huge sit-down powerbomb…

JR: I have never seen Cerberus look this vulnerable…

JT: The man, and let’s remember that he is a man, went through absolute hell just a month ago….

HE: So did Helms….but look at the difference in their positions now….

Helms stares at James McManus and then he climbs from the ring and makes his way into the backstage area. McManus beckons for Jenny to come with him but then Cerberus starts to stir and they take a step back…

JR: How is Cerberus still moving?

HE: Because he’s not from this world….he can’t be…

JT: Well Helms has just left him out here….I think he believed he’d finished the job…OH MY, WHAT NOW!

*Crowd pop

JR: You can’t be serious…..this is sick…

Marty Helms returns and he is pushing a coffin with him. He wheels it across the walkway and then he steps back into the ring. He watches Cerberus, who is trying to stand, and then he runs at him and punts him square in the head…

JT: What the hell is Marty Helms playing at here?

HE: He’s going to get rid of Cerberus once and for all…

Helms points at Cerberus and then at McManus. McManus looks confused for a moment but then he bends down and seizes one of Cerberus’ arms as Helms grabs the other…

JR: McManus doesn’t want to help Helms here but he knows Cerberus will always hunt him if he doesn’t do something drastic…

JT: These two men are united in a common goal…despite how much they despise one another…

They drag Cerberus from the ring and manage to drape him across the front of the open casket. Cerberus turns and he grabs McManus by the throat…

JR: HE’S STILL FIGHTING!

HE: NOT NOW!

Helms crashes a “Bullhammer” elbow right into the face of the monster and then McManus picks up the UK Championship and clocks Cerberus between the eyes with it. Together they dump Cerberus into the coffin and shut the lid.

JT: Now what…?

JR: I think McManus wants to know the same thing….

McManus turns to Helms and shrugs his shoulders as though questioning how that will keep Cerberus at bay. Helms shakes his head and then he produces a padlock and secures it around the coffin…

JR: Now Cerberus cannot escape….they just going to keep him prisoner?

Helms motions for McManus to help him push the casket back to the stage as Jenny comes over to meet them. Helms the disappears behind the curtain again as McManus looks at his wife with confusion…

JT: SOMEONE NEEDS TO STOP THIS NOW?

Helms returns and he begins pouring liquid all over the coffin from a container. McManus is shaking his head and waving his arms…

JR: McManus wants no part of whatever Helms has planned here….this has gone far enough…

HE: Cerberus has to be removed…..there’s no other choice…

JT: THERE IS EVERY OTHER CHOICE BUT THIS….

Helms screams “THERE’S NO OTHER WAY” at McManus and then he produces a lit match. McManus grabs his wife by the hand and pulls her toward the backstage area, looking extremely troubled, as Helms stands in front of the casket and then launches the match on top of it…

JR: GET MEDICS…..SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THIS….THERE’S A HUMAN BEING IN THERE!

Crowd: Holy (beep) x20

JT: HE’S BURNING HIM ALIVE…..PLEASE SOMEONE GET OUT HERE!

Helms’ face is illuminated in the flames that have engulfed the casket. Smoke pours and billows into the air as Helms smiles and medics and emergency responders arrive on the scene. The fans in the crowd look very worried as fire extinguishers are emptied in order to douse the flames….

JR: Cerberus has been trapped inside that burning casket for minutes now….

JT: This is really bad….I mean this is sick….Marty Helms has crossed the line here tonight…

JR: Marty Helms has just attempted to commit murder….he’s beyond help…

HE: Helms saw no other way….there was no room for both he and Cerberus in this company…

JT: There is nothing you can say that can justify what we have just witnessed…

Helms backs away from the smouldering casket as the EMT’s begin trying to break the lock. The Last Outlaw has one last smile at his handiwork and then disappears through the curtain…

JR: Folks we need to take a quick commercial break whilst our medical teams attend to the situation at hand here but we will, of course, keep you apprised of developments when return…

JT: This not professional wrestling….this is not what this profession is all about…

HE: What we have just seen is the culmination of one of the most destructive, blood-thirsty wars in 6CW history…..I don’t think anyone will ever forget what has happened here tonight….

Match 1
Marty Helms vs Orthrus

*Marty Helms makes his entrance and looks as fired up as usual. There is a mixed reaction from the audience for the “Last Outlaw” as he turns to the stage and demands his opposition.

*Tyler Roth walks out, which sparks a huge roar from the audience. Roth walks across the ramp and then climbs down to ringside. He stares at Helms as he grabs a steel chair and decides to take a seat next to the announce area.

*Helms stares out at Roth and then flames explode from the stage and turnbuckles as Orthrus comes walking out onto the stage. The commentators talk about how Orthrus is as blood-thirsty as his little brother and was a big player in 6CW back in 2013. Marty Helms may have no fear but he’d be foolish to underestimate the challenge in front of him.

*Orthrus stands over Marty Helms as Helms talks trash. The bell sounds and Helms puts the head on Orthrus and sends him staggering back. Orthrus fires back with a huge uppercut and then he grabs Helms and whips him off the ropes. Orthrus drops his head and Helms plants a kick in his face before dropping him with a huge big boot

*Helms stops to talk trash with Tyler Roth, who seems amused, and then he turns round and is dropped by a huge chokeslam from Orthrus. The commentators are stunned and so are the crowd but Helms manages to kick out.

*Orthrus draws a finger across his throat and drags Helms up. He is setting up for a powerbomb but Helms counters with a backdrop. Orthrus is getting to his feet as Helms runs off the ropes and returns with a spear. Orthrus just manages to throw his arm off the mat before three.

*Helms looks around at the crowd and then back over Tyler Roth. Helms then shows his own strength as he lifts Orthrus onto his shoulder and nails him with the “Infinity Edge” (Project Ciampa).
RJ: Marty Helms wanted Tyler Roth to watch that….Tyler Roth is arguably the strongest man on the roster but Helms just lifted and destroyed a 7ft, 300lbs monster….

JT: Anything you can do…

Helms is up on his feet and he watches Orthrus starting to crawl back to a kneeling position. He rips off his kneepad and then charges off the ropes before returning with a brutal flying knee to the back of Orthrus’ head…

RJ: Blade of the Ruined King!

JT: And that really has ruined Orthrus….Marty Helms has now destroyed both of the “Brothers Grimm”…

1.
..
….2

…….3!

RJ: Statement made…..Marty Helms watched what Tyler Roth did last week and then he came out here and absolutely laid waste to Orthrus whilst Roth watched on….incase Tyler Roth didn’t know what he was dealing with, I’d say he does now…

JT: Oh I think Tyler Roth is more than aware of what Marty Helms is all about….two of the most physically imposing and dominant wresters on the roster….when they collide, I’d suggest running for cover…

RJ: I don’t think Helms is done here…

“Remedy” is playing from the speakers as Helms leans over the ropes and stares down at Tyler Roth….

Helms: You like that? Huh? That’s just a taste of what’s coming to you…..

Roth continues to just look at Helms, which seems to irk him slightly, and then he charges forward and delivers a thunderous punt kick to the skull of Orthrus, who was trying to rise…

JT: He just kicked Orthrus’ head into next week….Marty Helms is a vindictive destroyer….

RJ: And he’s telling Tyler Roth that he is looking into the future….

JT: Every fan in this arena cannot wait to see this fight happen…..Orthrus came here to avenge his brother but, instead, he has suffered the same fate….

RJ: JJ Johnson said he wanted to see the “Monster Slayer” version of Marty Helms and there you go…he has delivered….

JT: Tyler Roth is finally off of his feet…..and he’s applauding, it seems “The Reaper” likes what he sees….

Roth is standing now and clapping as Marty Helms stands over the broken form of Orthrus. Helms points at Tyler Roth and is saying “you and me…..you and me”….

RJ: I reckon Marty Helms is ready to go now…

JT: Without a doubt…..and I don’t think Tyler Roth would hesitate either….I really don’t think it will be much longer before the 6CWF Board pull the trigger on this one…

Helms and Roth continue to stare one another down, both receiving support from the crowd, before the action heads backstage.

*We get a shot of Johnny Oko and his entourage arriving at the arena. The commentators talk about the media we have seen in the last week about how Oko seems to have undergone a very physical and psychological transformation in the last few years away from professional wrestling. They talk about the shroud of mystery that seems to surround the return of Oko and how he seems to have brought his own army with him. They ponder what Oko will bring to the table here in 6CWF.

*Scene change and Jack Reynolds is interviewing Liam Wood ahead of his match. Wood is dismissive of Jason Sparkz and seems offended that he has to go through with it. He isn’t interested in going back in time and revisiting the past. He says the only plus point of tonight’s match is that he can send Jason Sparkz away once and for all and prove, not that he should have to, that he is the Mr EWF and the reason that company had any success at all.

Reynolds asks Wood about last week and what picture he ripped off the walls. Wood won’t comment on the picture but does say he felt disrespected. He is an EWF Champion and one of the biggest stars of 6CW in the last decade. He has lost count of the historic moments he has been involved in and yet it seems this new 6CWF Board would rather showcase others and celebrate mediocrity.

Wood reiterates that he is here to achieve things he never has before. Reynolds wants to know what that means but Wood tells him to just enjoy the show.

*It appears Glasgow’s Most Wanted are here in the building again and they are helping themselves to food from the buffet when Timothy Allen approaches them. Allen is wondering why GMW are here and if they have been offered contracts here in 6CWF. SRA and AJ Harvey get agitated with Allen’s questioning and begin to poke fun at him. Diablo and Christy James are suddenly on the scene and are as surprised as Tim Allen to see GMW here as they weren’t on the list. Diablo, however, has a great idea. Seeing as though next week’s show will be in Glasgow how about GMW compete for their hometown crowd.

GMW smirk, arrogantly, and then accept. They want paying up front for the appearance and Diablo can’t see a problem with them, they’ll deserve every penny. He and Christy smile and get ready to leave before Diablo informs them they will be facing the team of Marty Helms and Tyler Roth. GMW look shellshocked as Tim Allen smiles and the crowd cheer.

Match 2
Liam Wood vs Jason Sparkz

*Liam Wood is the first man out to the ring for the second bout of the evening. His comments seems to have turned the majority of the crowd against him but he doesn’t seem to care. There are some die-hard Wood fans in the audience but he doesn’t seem to notice them. He then lounges back in the corner and rolls his eyes as “Lose yourself” hits the speakers and Jason Sparkz arrives to a decent reception from the Copper Box crowd.

*The commentary team give us a breakdown on both men and their history with one another. They are both EWF Originals and Jason Sparkz was the first ever EWF Champion, defeating Liam Wood en route to that honour. Sparkz then suffered an injury had to relinquish the title, which was then won by Liam Wood.

*Sparkz then returned to independent wrestling whilst Wood’s career went from strength to strength, winning multiple world titles and becoming a household name for 6CW. Wood, however, seems to be upset that Jason Sparkz’ name still remains synonymous with EWF and wants to erase him from the history books entirely.

*They go head to head and Sparkz offers a handshake. Wood looks at him in disgust. The crowd are cheering Sparkz as both men stare out at the fans before Wood lashes a huge flash superkick into Sparkz’ jaw, sparking huge boos from the faithful.

*Wood brutalises Sparkz with brutal knees in the corner and then whips him to the opposite corner with such force that he collapses on the mat. Wood taunts Sparkz and then dead lifts him off the floor into a huge gutwrench suplex.

*Wood grabs Sparkz by the throat and looks to lift him off the deck into a chokeslam but Sparkz reacts in midair with a beautiful hurricanrana counter. They get back up and Sparkz ducks an attack before springboarding onto the ropes and flies back with a crossbody. Wood rolls right through and stands with Sparkz in his arms. He throws him up in the air but Sparkz counters with a tornado DDT in mid-flight and gets a two count.

*Sparkz lets Wood stand and then dropkicks him in the back, sending him sprawling across the middle ropes. Sparkz then attempts a 619 but Wood catches his legs before guillotining him between the middle and top rope.

*Wood deadlifts Sparkz into a massive German suplex. He heads for the corner and flies off with an elbow drop but Sparkz moves. Sparkz dropkicks Wood through the ropes to the outside and then wows the crowd with a running rope flip into a takedown on the outside.

*The action returns to the ring and Sparkz looks for a springboard attack but Wood sidesteps and sends Sparkz stumbling upon landing. Wood nails a discus forearm smash, knocking Sparkz to the corner, before nailing a huge yakuza kick (ala Sami Zayn).

*Wood pulls Sparkz from the corner and nails a hat-trick of overhead belly to belly suplexes. He then deadlifts Sparkz into a spinning sit down powerbomb but Sparkz manages to kick out on two.

*Wood backs into the corner, watching his foe squirm on the mat, and then runs out for the “Psycho Crusher” foot stomp but Sparkz dodges it and rolls Wood up for a two count. They get up again and Sparkz counters a clothesline into a backslide for another two.

*They rise and Sparkz takes Wood off his feet with a spinning heel kick as the crowd cheer. Sparkz goes high for the senton bomb as Jeff Thadeus tells us this is how he won the world title. This time, however, Wood drives his knees up into the spine.
JT: Jason Sparkz went to the well there….

RJ: He rolled the dice….went all in but it didn’t pay off and now finds himself at the mercy of Liam Wood…

JT: I’m not sure Liam Wood is in a merciful mood….

RJ: I still want to know who’s picture he ripped off the wall….he was clearly very unhappy at someone’s inclusion…

JT: Could have been Jason Sparkz….the first ever EWF Champion….

RJ: I’m not so sure on that but Liam Wood certainly doesn’t like his opponent here tonight….

JT: What gave it away?

RJ: HOW ABOUT THAT?

Sparkz is doubled up in pain on the canvass as Wood hooks his arms and drags him up before drilling him with the “Manson Driver”….

JT: Thanks for coming, Jason Sparkz….

RJ: I’m not sure he will be back after this….

Sparkz is flat on the deck, face down, but Liam Wood shakes his head when the referee intimates for him to make the cover. He stands up, listening to the boos of the crowd, and then backsteps into the corner. The referee is asking him what he is doing but Wood just runs out and lands a brutal foot stomp to his already grounded opponent…

JT: MY GOD…

RJ: There was nowhere for Jason Sparkz’ head to go, I’m surprised Liam Wood didn’t put his skull through the canvass…

JT: I think that was the intention….

RJ: Jason Sparkz has been left in a heap here….oh cmon now, Liam, there’s no need for this….

Sparkz is, quite clearly, unconscious, but Wood shoves the referee away and then leans over his opponent and pulls him into a brutal camel clutch. Sparkz’ eyes are already closed as Liam Wood wrenches back on his neck and head….

JT: This is completely uncalled for….he’s out….you’ve already beaten the man….

The referee wastes no time in signalling for the bell to stop the match. Wood releases the submission and leaves Sparkz unconscious on the mat. Wood points to his own chest and mouths to the camera “Mr EWF”….

The majority of the crowd are booing as the referee, reluctantly, raises Liam Wood’s hand but there is an audible section of Wood fans. The official signals for the ringside doctor to come and check on Sparkz as Wood looks down at his fallen rival and then climbs from the ring.

RJ: Liam Wood said that he would leave nobody in any doubt about who the biggest star from EWF really is and I’d say he achieved that…

JT: But the manner in which he did so was completely uncalled for….Sparkz was a beaten man, the submission so unnecessary….

RJ: Liam Wood is off the mark here in 6CWF….like him or not, it was an impressive display…but what’s next?

JT: He’s already said he is here to achieve things he has never done before…..we don’t know exactly what that entails but I guess time will tell for Liam Wood….brave display from Jason Sparkz but he was way overmatched in there….needless to say that Liam Wood will be tested much more as time goes by but for the time being he has his first W….

Wood stands on the stage and soaks up the boos as the ringside doctor continues to check on Jason Sparkz. Wood turns toward the 6CWF announce desk and points over to RJ and Jeff Thadeus…

Wood: Tell the world…I’m back…and I’m just getting started…

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 18:53

*We head backstage and Drake is reading a message on his phone. The more he reads the more agitated and stressed he becomes. He rubs his hand against his temples as Alex Walker strides into shot. Walker is as smug as ever and he asks Drake why he looks so tense. Drake looks angered by Walker’s presence and tells him to clear off. Walker merely smiles and says “a problem shared is a problem halved” but Drake retorts and tells Walker he will give him a problem if he doesn’t leave him alone. Walker bows, mockingly, and leaves with a smile. Drake scowls and then looks back at his phone, letting out a deep breath and beginning to type.

*The scene changed and Daniel Reilly is being interviewed by Clarissa. Clarissa wants to address last week’s main event and the highly controversial finish. Reilly is still smarting over it and remains adamant that he kicked out before the three count was completed. Reilly knows Gazzy is a heck of a competitor and wishes him no ill will but tells them that Gazzy did not beat him. Reilly’s main point of contention is that the 6CWF superstars have been told that world titles will be on the line at “From the Ashes” and that “loss” last week could seriously hamper his chances of being involved.

Clarissa asks if he has asked for an overturn but Reilly shuts that down and says he isn’t expecting any favours. He’s been around the block and he knows the only way to get ahead in this business is by doing it yourself. So that is what he intends on doing that. He knows his opponents both had disappointing results last week as well and will be looking to make amends but that will make them reckless and everybody knows you don’t make mistakes in the ring with the “King of the Streets”.
*Jack Reynolds tries to gain access to Johnny Oko’s dressing room for an interview but finds his way barred by Oko’s “guards”.

Match 3
Johnny Oko vs ???

*Former 6CW superstar Nicky Cassidy is already in the ring as we head back out to the arena. Jeff Thadeus gives us the lowdown on Cassidy and how his biggest match, to date, came against former 6WF World Champion, Chaos at Night of Glory. Cassidy is given a decent ovation from the audience.

*Johnny Oko then makes his elaborate entrance with his two Geishas. He raises his katana into the air as pyros explode behind him before walking across the ramp to the ring. He removes his outside attire as the commentators remark on how Oko’s frame has certainly changed in the last couple of years. He most certainly seems to be carrying more muscle mass.

*RJ wants to talk about the media we have seen in the last week or two in regards to Oko and his involvement in, potentially, organised crime. Jeff Thadeus says that Oko has always been a volatile personality but that if what they have seen is true then 6CWF may have opened its doors to a very dangerous individual.

*Nicky Cassidy looks a little apprehensive as Oko stands across from him and just stares. Oko’s good eye is unblinking as they square off and then lockup centre ring. Oko twists the arm of his opponent and stomps on the back of his heel to put him down on one knee. He then grabs Cassidy’s head and delivers a very heavy knee to the face before lashing a furious chop against the side of his neck, leaving him grounded in a heap.

*Oko punishes Cassidy on the ground with stomps and then he throws him into the corner and unloads with more chops and punches before driving in with a back elbow to the jaw that sends spit flying from Cassidy’s mouth.

*Oko whips Cassidy across the ring and then gives chase but takes a boot to the jaw that knocks him back. Cassidy lifts himself onto the second rope and lands with a meteora knee strike to the chest. He then follows up with rolling thunder but Oko kicks out on two.

*Cassidy takes heart from his offense and then gives a signal for a superkick. He ushers Oko up and looks for the kick but Oko ducks under it and catches Cassidy’s leg across his shoulder before dropping down and crushing the appendage.

*Cassidy is clearly in a lot of agony as he rolls on the canvass. The referee is kneeling next to him and asking if he wants to give it up but he shakes his head. There is no mercy from Oko as he lifts the leg up and smashes it, repeatedly, against the canvass before stomping in with vicious intent.

*The referee warns Oko to listen to instruction but Oko doesn’t seem to care. Cassidy tries to hobble up as Oko stalks him, methodically. Cassidy manages to stand and Oko bounces off the ropes and then lands a low flying kick to the back of Cassidy’s knee, causing him to scream in pain.

*Oko climbs from the ring and ignores the referee’s orders as he then slams Cassidy’s injured leg against the ringpost. Oko looks around at the booing masses and a smirk dances on his lips.

RJ: This is becoming very difficult to watch….I don’t remember this version of Johnny Oko…

JT: Nor do I….he is taking great pleasure in the agony he is inflicting upon poor Nicky Cassidy…

The referee is remonstrating with Oko as he climbs back up into the ring. Nicky Cassidy is clutching at his knee and it is quite clear that he is in some distress. Johnny Oko stands over him as he begins to try and get up…

RJ: I don’t think Cassidy can stand….

JT: I suspect, unfortunately, that some quite substantial damage has been caused to that knee…

Cassidy looks up at Oko, almost pleadingly, and he reaches out a hand and puts it on Oko’s pants. Oko looks down at the hand as though Cassidy has just caused him a mortal insult….

RJ: OH NO!

Oko suddenly grabs the arm of Cassidy and drops down, placing him in an excruciating fuijiwara armbar. Cassidy screams in agony and immediately taps his hand to the mat…

JT: That is a horrific looking armbar….the arm is not supposed to twist that way…

RJ: Release the damn hold…

The bell sounds as Oko is declared the winner. He, however, refuses to release the submission as the referee attempts to pull him off…

JT: Oko’s actions are completely reprehensible here…..OH MY LORD!

RJ: Anyone got a sickbag? He just snapped his finger right in front of us…

The crowd are booing furiously and there are some nauseated faces on camera as Oko grabs one of Cassidy’s outstretched fingers and then he snaps it back, causing Cassidy to scream out in pain once again. Oko finally releases the submission and stands up as Cassidy cradles his arm…

JT: I can’t believe what we have just seen….that was completely uncalled for….the 6CWF Board need to be acting upon that….Johnny Oko cannot be allowed to get away with that…

RJ: Johnny Oko is showing us a ruthless side that should have everybody watching over their shoulder…

JT: Poor Nicky Cassidy….he did not deserve what has happened to him here tonight….

“Turk’s theme” is playing out as Johnny Oko stares down at Cassidy and then walks away. The referee is kneeling next to Cassidy and talking to him as Oko climbs out onto the stage. His Geishas have returned and are accompanied by four of Oko’s “guards”. Oko meets them at the top of the stage…

RJ: Johnny Oko’s debut match here in 6CWF is certainly going to have people talking….that cannot be denied…

JT: I don’t know what has happened with Johnny Oko over the last couple of years but I don’t like it one bit…..

We hear one of the “guards” saying to Oko “congratulations, Oyabun” as they hand over his jacket. They all bow to him as he dresses himself and then follow him into the backstage area.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

*Clarke James arrives at the Copper Box. He is just walking through the doors as he finds himself face to face with Acer. Acer tells CJ that, due to his position of power, it would be deemed unprofessional for him to splatter Clarke’s face all over the walls but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t love to after what CJ did.

James looks mildly amused by Acer’s threats, which only serves to rile the Welshmen even more. Acer tells James that he isn’t happy that he’s here and he thinks JJ has made a massive mistake but the contract is signed now so they have to accept it. James makes to leave but Acer blocks him and tells CJ that he’ll be here every week and he’ll be watching him like a hawk.

CJ takes a moment and then tells Acer he agrees, JJ has made a massive mistake. Because signing James’ contract has set in motion of chain of events that will alter the entire landscape forever. And he urgers Acer to watch….because watching is all he can do, all he’s capable of doing. Because stopping CJ is impossible.

He then mocks Acer’s threat and tells him that if he really believed he was capable of doing something about it, he would have regardless of his position. Because last week he caved in Rocky’s skull. He battered Acer’s friend right there on the floor and left him covered in blood. And yet Acer has done nothing. CJ then gets up close to Acer and says “I wonder what your blood will look like”.

Acer looks thunderous as CJ brushes past him and walks away

*Scene change and Clarissa is interviewing Scott Harris. Harris admits he was disappointed not to have his re-match with Eddy Kent sanctioned for this week but he cannot dwell on that because tonight he has an opportunity to get his first W but in order to do so he must defeat some formidable opposition.

Harris says he’s never fought Mike Hill but his resume speaks for itself and Daniel Reilly is also a 6CW legend. Harris knows he will have to be at his absolute best to defeat two former world champions….a feat that one day he hopes he can boast himself.

Clarissa asks if Harris still wants to face Kent and he says absolutely. He wants that match as soon as possible because it definitely feels unresolved and he doesn’t like having that hanging over his head. Harris is hoping that if he can secure a win tonight then maybe he’ll get what he wants.

Mike Hill enters the scene and he sneers at Harris and his hopes of being world champion. Hill says Harris was choked out last week by Eddy Kent and whilst it may not have gone down as an official defeat, the whole world knows he lost. So if Kent can do that, then just imagine what Mike Hill is going to do to him tonight.

Harris says “Oh hi Lex”…..and Hill whips around, looking worried, but there is nobody there. Harris laughs as he barges past Hill and says “See you out there”. Hill scowls at Harris and then at Clarissa, who seems to be suppressing a smile, before walking toward ringside.

6CW BLAST FROM THE PAST:

May 18th 2009 - 6CW Shockwave

11th Hour vs Daniel Kerr - No Holds Barred

A video recap of 11th Hour and Daniel Kerr is shown emphasising the injury which happened at Night of Glory as well as Kerr’s return.

Slam starts to play as 11th Hour walks to the ring. From behind Daniel Kerr chop blocks 11th Hour. Kerr stands up and immediately stomps away on the knee of 11th Hour. Kerr picks Hour up and walks to the ring with him and throws him in. Kerr looks underneath the ring and pulls out a tool box. He takes some electrical tape from the box and rolls into the ring. Kerr kicks Hour in the back of the knee a few more times. Kerr picks Hour up and scoops him and positions him in the tree of woe in the corner. Kerr goes back to the tape and wraps it round Hour’s feet.

Henry: ‘Kerr has trapped 11th Hour in the corner.’

Kerr heads to the outside and grabs a steel chair. He throws it into the ring and then goes to the steel ring steps. He grabs hold of the top set and lifts them up pushing them through the middle rope. Kerr rolls in after them. Kerr picks the steps up and places them in front of 11th Hour’s head. Kerr heads to the opposite corner and runs in hitting a baseball slide into the steps, slamming the steps into the face of 11th Hour.

Kerr goes and picks up the steel chair and starts hammering away on the knee of 11th Hour. Kerr lands a 6th chair shot and a 7th, and an 8th. Kerr drops the steel chair and rolls to the outside. He looks underneath the ring again and pulls out a trash can. Kerr throws it in over the top rope and rolls inside. Kerr moves the steps out of the way and sit 11th Hour up. Kerr puts the trash can on top of 11th Hour who is sat precariously on the top rope. Kerr grabs the electrical tape again and seals the trash can to the body of 11th Hour.

Kerr picks the steel chair up again and lands two chair shots to the back of 11th Hour. 11th Hour teeters on the top and Kerr pushes him off, Hour swinging down due to his trapped legs. 11th Hour crashes into the ring post trash can slamming into his face in the process.

Kerr goes to the outside and looks at the trash can.

He shouts to the crowd that he’s done and walks back up the ramp.

Harold: ‘Is Daniel Kerr just going to leave 11th Hour like that?’
Henry: ‘I think he is. I think he came here to hurt 11th Hour and that is exactly what he’s done.’

Backstage officials come back and free 11th Hour from the trash can and the turnbuckle. The camera shows the bloody face of 11th Hour but he is smiling and licking his lips.

Henry: ‘Well I know we have some characters here in 6CW, but 11th Hour is just creepy.’

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Match 4
Daniel Reilly vs Mike Hill vs Scott Harris

*Back to ringside and the crowd are clearly hyped for the upcoming triple threat contest. Daniel Reilly is the first out to the ring and the commentators talk about Reilly wanting to move past the controversy and disappointment of last week. Jeff Thadeus talks about Reilly’s past as a multi time world champion and Night of Glory main eventer but that it has been more than a decade since then and question marks are rising about whether he’s a little past his best.

*Scott Harris is next out and the commentators talk about how he needs to keep his mind on the task at hand and not Eddy Kent. Harris has always had the in-ring ability to be a star but he needs to learn to put all of the components together if he wants to reach the pinnacle.

*Mike Hill is then out, met by huge boos. He looks as cocky as ever as he swaggers to the ring and taunts the audience. Jeff Thadeus talks about Hill’s ego despite suffering a loss last week and thinks that he has, unintentionally, put pressure on himself to win tonight after kicking up such a fuss about the lack of respect he believes he has received.

*Hill leaps into the ring as the referee has words with all three competitors. Hill then turns from one foe to the other and trash talks them. He continues to run his mouth until Harris headbutts him in the face and then Reilly drops him with a huge European uppercut.

*The crowd are happy as they whip Hill off the ropes and send him flying with a huge double backdrop. Hill stumbles up and Reilly nails him with a dropkick that sends him straight into Harris, who subsequently delivers an overhead belly to belly suplex that sends Hill over the ropes to the outside.

*Harris turns and takes a big European uppercut from Reilly. Reilly looks for a whip but Harris twists inside and looks for a belly to belly. Reilly fights free and knocks Harris down with a dropkick. They get up and Reilly looks for a suplex but Harris floats over the back and nails a bridged German suplex. Mike Hill catapults back in with a plancha that breaks up the pinfall.

*Harris runs at Hill but he ducks down and pulls the ropes, sending Harris to the outside. Reilly is back up and Hill nails an inverted atomic drop before taking him down with a spinning heel kick. Hill connects with a standing shooting star and then sprints to the ropes and nails a lionsault. He covers but Harris drags him out of the ring on two. Hill looks for a right hand but Harris ducks and nails a German suplex into the security railing.

*Harris climbs onto the apron and scales the ropes. He prepares for a frogsplash but Reilly is up and nails a right hand. Reilly lands a couple more right hands and then clambers up. He prepares for a superplex but Harris headbutts his way free and shoves Reilly to the mat. Harris sets for the frogsplash again but Mike Hill is on the ramp and he springs onto the ropes before nailing an insane hurricanrana that sends himself and Harris crashing down, hard, on the rampway

*Hill springboards back in with a missile dropkick on Reilly but Reilly catches his feet and slams him down before twisting him into an anklelock. The crowd are cheering and Hill is yelling in pain as he desperately tries to crawl for the ropes. Hill grabs out but Reilly pulls him back to the centre of the ring. Hill is hurting bad but will not quit. Scott Harris staggers back in and nails a snap dragon suplex on Reilly to break the submission.

*Hill is back up and Harris grabs him for a waistlock and a big German suplex but Hill shows amazing athleticism to backflip out onto his feet. Harris turns around and Hill nails a step-up enzeguiri before following up with a lashing pele kick to the top of the head. Hill stands over Harris and trash talks him before heading for the corner.

*Hill is up top and twists off into the “next big move” but lands across the knees of Scott Harris. They get back up and Harris nails a t-bone suplex. He rises and Reilly comes from nowhere with a flying RKO that has the crowd going wild. Reilly covers and the three looks inevitable but Hill leaps across and breaks the pin.

*Harris rolls from the ring as Reilly and Hill fight it out. Hill lands a backheel kick to the gut and attempts the “Over the Hill” but Reilly shoves him off the ropes and drops him with a spinning powerslam on the comeback. Reilly drags Hill up and flips him up into a fallout neckbreaker before heading for the corner.

*Reilly leaps off for a frogsplash but Hill moves and sends his opponent crashing into the mat. Reilly is back up and Hill drills him with a springboard tornado DDT but Reilly manages to kick out.

*Hill pulls Reilly up and nails a corkscrew neckbreaker (ala John Morrison) and then rolls to the corner. He gets ready for the “Mike Time” (450 splash) when Scott Harris runs across the ring, up the ropes, and nails a huge armdrag from on high. They get back up and Hill looks for a hill-can-rana but Harris catches him on his shoulders and then throws him into Reilly as he gets back up, sending Reilly from the ring.

*Harris nails a backbreaker on Hill and then turns him into the sharpshooter as the crowd go wild. Hill is once again in agony as the commentators talk about how close Hill is to two submission losses in a row. Hill desperately tries to get to the corner but Harris pulls him back and sits right into the hold. Hill looks on the verge of tapping out before Reilly comes back and clotheslines Harris from behind.

*Reilly stomps on both of his foes before stalking Harris. He looks for the RKO but Harris puts the brakes on and shoves him into the turnbuckle before nailing a release German suplex. Harris goes to the top and this time he scores with his frogsplash. Hill breaks the pin on two.

*Hill lands kicks to the head and chest before dragging him up. He attempts the “Over the Hill” but Harris shoves him away. Reilly is getting back up as Hill leaps into the air and lands the hill-can-rana that sends Reilly back into Harris and knocks him through the ropes.

JT: Scott Harris is seeing stars after that…..my lord what a thrust kick….

Reilly is holding his head as he staggers back around and Hill lands a brutal side thrust kick that lands right on the jaw. Reilly is dazed and confused as Hill grabs a hold of him….

RJ: OVER THE HILL…..he’s got him….

1
..
..
…..2
..
..
…………..3!

JT: IT’S LEX HART!

CRACK!

*Crowd pop

RJ: Mike Hill just learned a very valuable life lesson….you do not (beep) with Lex Hart….

JT: He’s split him wide open….

The crowd are going wild as Lex pulls Hill from the ring before the three count can be completed and lashes a steel chair right across his head, leaving him on the deck and opening a cut right down the bridge of his nose.

RJ: Mike Hill’s blood has been spilled tonight……he may be regretting that low blow now…

JT: And with no dqs in a triple threat match, there is nothing the referee can do…

RJ: Why on earth Mike Hill through running afoul of one of the most dirtiest players in the game was a good idea is beyond me…

Lex raises the chair to the crowd and they cheer again. He then throws down the weapon next to his busted up rival and climbs up onto the ramp, exiting to the back.

JT: And that just leaves two….Mike Hill is surely out of the running here….

RJ: Scott Harris may just have victory within his grasp here….

Harris rolls back into the ring and he sees Reilly stumbling to his feet. He makes his way over and he grabs the arm of his opponent….

JT: SHOT IN THE DARK!

Reilly jumps out the side and then counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker (ala Randy Orton). He then rolls on his front and bangs his hands on the mat before ushering Harris back to a vertical base…

RJ: The King of the Streets is ready to strike…..RKO!

Reilly leaps into the air for the RKO but Harris catches him in midair and counters with an incredible improvisation on the “Olympic slam”…..all the wind is knocked Reilly’s sails as Harris grabs his arm and twists him into a mahistrol cradle

1………………….2…………………..3!

JT: He got him…..he did…..Harris is off the mark….

There are cheers all around the Copper Box as “Survival” plays out and Scott Harris rolls onto his knees, smiling as he is announced as the winner. He pats Reilly on the shoulder, showing respect, before getting back to his feet.

RJ: Scott Harris has his first 6CWF victory in an absolutely rip-roaring triple threat match…

JT: Easily my favourite match since we returned….all three men put it on the line tonight….

RJ: And aside from Harris winning….the main talking point has to be Lex Hart’s interference…..Mike Hill looked to have the win secured when the mistakes of his past came back to haunt him…..just look at that….

The cameras show Mike Hill on the outside of the ring. Hill is just about sitting up as blood runs down his nose and has pooled on his chest. His eyes are already darkened and he looks dazed…

JT: Mike Hill made an enemy out of Lex Hart and boy has that blown up in his face….

RJ: Lex Hart has made a career off of getting his hands dirty and Mike Hill should have known that….he knew there’d be a comeback….

JT: Well he only just escaped Lex earlier tonight but there was no escape there…..

Scott Harris climbs up onto the ropes and celebrates in front of the fans as they applaud and chant his name.

RJ: Scott Harris will be hoping that win is enough to secure him a return bout with Eddy Kent….I see no reason for that not to happen…

JT: Defeat may have posed an issue but not now…..the competitors want it, the fans want it….surely the Board need to act…

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:06

*We join Max Adamson at the 6CWF panel table. Max is joined by Perfect Jack, Jackson Black and Emmy. Max wants to talk to his guests about the show we have seen thus far and what to expect from the rest of the night.

*Perfect Jack is keen to talk about Clarke James. He agrees with Acer and the general consensus that bringing CJ back is a mistake. PJ says he was Clarke James’ best friend and became a victim because Clarke James cares about nobody put himself. He suckered them all in but now the suppressed monster has been released and there is no putting him back in his cage.

Jackson Black can’t believe JJ Johnson brought Alex Walker back, let alone Clarke James. Black says Walker is a cancer and it may be a month, a year or five but eventually he will attempt to overthrow the power structure here in 6CWF. Black says Walker cannot be trusted and everyone should be worried about his presence here.

Max flirts with Emmy and asks if she is “back on the market” and fancies a bit of “thunder from down under” but she merely rolls her eyes. Adamson wants to ask about Liam Wood. Emmy admits that Wood is obsessed with his portrayal and is hell-bent on success. She doesn’t know who he is gunning for or what he means by “achieving things he never has before” but Max jokes that maybe he wants to last more than sixty seconds in the bedroom, prompting another eyeroll. Emmy says if Wood has a goal then he will go all out to achieve it.

Max says the world needs to get ready for the main event because his nephew is going to blow the competition out of the water. He is only 18 years old and he is going to become an overnight star. You don’t get a debut match with Lex Hart unless you can go. Max promises a star making performance here tonight and if not then Rex is being disowned.

The last topic of discussion is the world titles. We know there will be two world champions crowned at “From the Ashes” and Max wants predictions. Perfect Jack says he hates to admit it but he cannot look past Clarke James. James is as calculating, manipulative and dangerous as they come. There are no lows he will not stoop to in order to get what he wants. PJ expects Clarke will leave “From the Ashes” with a world title.

Jackson Black looks at the roster and there is so much talent that it’s hard to settle on one name but if he has a gun to his head it has to be Tyler Roth. Black says winning world titles in combat sports promotions like Bellator, PFL and One set Roth apart from the competition. He is a legitimate killer and he doesn’t see anyone being able to stop him. Black thinks Roth will finally get the final piece of his jigsaw.

Emmy thinks if Liam Wood’s immediate goal is to be world champion then that is exactly what he will achieve. But if not then she’s going for Lex Hart. Max probes and wants to know why but Emmy looks embarrassed and says “just because it’s Lex Hart” which causes Max to give her an eyeroll back.

*Jack Reynolds interviews a very confident Cameron Faith. Faith says it was great to get off the mark last week against Scorpion but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Faith wants to finally reach the upper echelons of the business and that means staying focused and adding as many Ws to the board as possible.

Faith knows tonight he will have his hands full against Eddy Kent but he truly believes on his day he can beat anyone in the world. Faith knows he’s slipped up once or twice in his career and probably disappointed some of his fans along the way but that is all going to change. Faith’s ambition is to become a world champion and like everyone else on the roster he has one eye on “From the Ashes” but one mistake and that all disappears.

Reynolds asks Faith if he is looking forward to returning to Glasgow next week for Proving Grounds. Faith says it has been awhile but he can’t wait to get in front of his hometown fans and put on a show.

Reynolds wishes him luck and Cameron Faith nods and walks off. We see GMW sitting in the background, watching.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:07

*Back at ringside and there is a commotion in the crowd as a man walks through wielding what looks like a pirate mast on a pole. He is dressed in complete pirate attire as he hops the barricade and grabs a microphone. Jeff Thadeus already knows who the man is but he introduces himself as Shinobi Blackbeard, 6CW Original and a man that headlined the first ever Night of Glory event. Blackbeard is ranting and raving about how he wasn’t asked to return to this company, in fact he hasn’t been asked to return in any of the incarnations of 6CW or 6WF and he is taking that personally. He wants answers and he wants them right now. Shinobi tells us he isn’t going anywhere in a hurry….

“CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES……THIS IS MY LAST RESORT”

*The noise goes through the roof

JT: NO WAY….IS HE HERE?

RJ: LISTEN TO THIS OVATION, YOU ARE DAMN RIGHT HE’S HERE…..GEOFF STEEL IS BACK IN 6CWF!

*Shinobi Blackbeard looks less than impressed as Geoff Steel, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, strides out onto the stage. Every single fan is up on their feet, cheering and chanting, as Steel makes his way across the ramp and climbs into the ring. He takes to all four corners, soaking up the atmosphere…

JT: What a moment…..listen to this noise….6CW Legend, Geoff Steel is in the house….this is incredible…

RJ: Seven thousand plus on their feet and it’s no wonder why…..Geoff Steel made a mark in 6WF too but in 6CW he was a living legend….former world champion….Xtreme Champion…..Tag Team Champion…..

JT: Shinobi Blackbeard does not look happy about being interrupted….

RJ: I’m not sure Blackbeard is even invited here tonight…..he has no reason to be annoyed…

JT: Well feel free to tell him….because he says he’s not leaving without a contract….

Steel climbs down off the ropes and he smiles at Blackbeard before listening to the fans chanting his name. Blackbeard seems to be getting angrier by the second…

Blackbeard: Why don’t you all just shut the (beep) up….

*Crowd boo

RJ: Apologies for the bad language there folks….

JT: I’m sure Amazon will throw up a warning on the replay….

Blackbeard: We are here to talk about me and my contract….I headlined Night of Glory one and I should be a part of this…

*Steel places his hand over the mic in Blackbeard’s hand and takes it from him, drawing huge cheers from the audience.

Steel: Look, pal….no offense….but these people really didn’t come here to listen to you talking nonsense and advertising a local fancy dress party…

*Steel looks at Blackbeard’s attire and shakes his head

Steel: They came here to see action and unless you’re out here to fight, I suggest you get yourself out of this ring…..

*Blackbeard looks more and more angry by the second…

Steel: You see unlike you….I do have a contract….and I am an official member of the 6CWF roster…

*Huge pop from the crowd at this announcement

Steel: And next week here at Proving Grounds I will be making my in-ring return……that is, unless you fancy helping me get rid of some ring rust right now?

*More cheers as Blackbeard suddenly takes a step back, backing down from the fight. He shakes his head.

Steel: No? That’s a pity……well if you’re done, do you mind if I have a minute with my fans?

*Blackbeard motions for Steel to continue and Steel turns away from him to address the crowd. Blackbeard suddenly cracks him from behind…

RJ: That no good sneak….

*Shinobi lands with several right hands and then he grabs Steel’s arm and whips him across the ring. He looks for a clothesline on the comeback but Steel ducks it and flies through the air with a huge shoulder tackle on the comeback. He beckons him back up and scoops him onto his shoulders before launching him into a huge fireman’s slam (Attitude Adjustment). Steel raises an arm to the fans…

JT: Steel doesn’t look like he missed a beat……BLADECUTTER!

Steel drags Blackbeard back up and nails him with the 360 piledriver in the centre of the ring. He then drags Blackbeard back up and launches him out of the ring as the fans go wild and chant his name.

RJ: What a moment at the top of the first hour here on Proving Grounds……Geoff Steel is back in 6CWF and he will make his in-ring return next Monday night….

JT: Huge addition to the roster…..tremendous acquisition and you can bet that this has sent some reverberations around the back….Steel is a big game player….

RJ: This is brilliant and the fans are loving it…..Geoff Steel looks in tremendous shape….

Steel continues to pace the ring, soaking up the atmosphere before the action heads backstage once more.

*Two of Johnny Oko’s “guards” are knocking on the door to the 6CWF Boardroom. Alex Walker opens the door and seems surprised. He asks if he can help but they have come to request a meeting with Drake. Walker raises an eyebrow and says Drake isn’t there but if there is something needed from the 6CWF Board then he can help but they decline. Walker asks if they would like to take a message but they shake their heads and walk away. Walker is left looking very curious.

*We get a shot of Rex Adamson arriving at the arena with his kitbag and wearing his “Man-Sausage Sure” t-shirt, available on 6CWF.com. The commentators talk about what a historic moment it will be when this 18 year old, amateur standout, makes his professional debut in the main event of Proving Grounds against multi-time world champion and sure-fire hall of famer, Lex Hart. Jeff Thadeus says debut matches do not come much bigger than this but 6CWF management clearly have high hopes and opinions for Rex because there is no way they would sanction this match otherwise. Xanthi Rose and Marlon are in the building, waiting for Marlon’s match, and they greet Rex. Rex hugs Xanthi and gives Marlon a fist bump before heading for the changing rooms.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:10

Match 5
Cameron Faith vs Eddy Kent

*We are back at ringside and the crowd go wild for the arrival of Cameron Faith. We get a quick clip of Faith’s victory over Scorpion last week as the commentators talk up Faith’s chances of potentially competing for a world title if he were to win here tonight. Jeff Thadeus tells us that Faith’s challenge tonight is probably going to push him a lot further than what we saw last time out.

*Eddy Kent then makes his way out onto the stage, met by a barrage of abuse from the audience. He breathes in the atmosphere of the arena and crowd before marching towards the ramp. Midway on the ramp, Eddy stops again and exhales before exclaiming at the camera and audience "I dont need a mic anymore, I'm on another world. Witness greatness." Kent struts to the apron and glides into the ring. He then struts to the middle of the ring and cricks his neck from side to side and stares down the audience before pointing at his chest with a confident smirk.

*The referee gives both men his final instructions as we are reminded of the fifteen minute time limit. RJ tells us the triple threat bout previously went just under fourteen minutes which gives an indication of how tight that window can be. Jeff Thadeus says that Eddy Kent is fully aware of that after what happened against Scott Harris last week.

*The bell sounds and we get some technical wrestling to start us off. Kent is able to whip around the back of Faith and pulls his legs out from under him. He attempts to control Faith on the deck but the Scotsman battles free and they scramble up. Faith sidesteps Kent and sends him off the ropes before lifting his foot for the superkick on the comeback but Kent clings to the top rope for dear life.

*They square off again and Kent applies a side headlock. Faith bounces back against the ropes and shoots his opponent across the ring. Kent returns with a shoulder tackle takedown and then runs the ropes but Faith rolls and forces him to jump over. Kent comes back and Faith leapfrogs him before lifting his leg again, this time Kent grabs the ropes and pulls himself to the outside.

*The commentators talk about how it only takes one of those kicks to turn your lights out. Kent is walking around ringside, looking annoyed, and then Faith comes crashing through the ropes with a suicide dive. Kent, however, has it scouted and moves aside before using Faith’s momentum to send him crashing against the Spanish announce table. Kent backs off and then runs in with a heavy knee to the head, leaving Faith slumped on the floor.

*Kent returns to the ring and orders the referee to count. The count reaches eight as Faith manages to clamber up and pull himself into the ring. Kent is upon him with brutal stomps to the back and neck before using the ropes to leap up and drive his knee down into Faith’s neck again until the referee warns him.

*Kent tries to pick Faith up into a swinging neckbreaker but Faith spins right out and drags his opponent into a school boy for a two. They get back up and Kent lands with a running knee lift to the gut, dropping Faith to his knees and this time he gets the neckbreaker for a two count.

*Kent drops to his knees and lands clubbing punches and forearms to the back of Faith’s neck as the commentators talk up the attempt to soften the area for the guillotine. He grabs Faith’s head and tries to place him into a grounded headlock but Faith kicks his legs and then manages to forward roll over the top into an unorthodox pin attempt for another two.

*They get up to their feet and Kent lands a very heavy kick to the stomach and attempts a spiked DDT but Faith counters with a backdrop. Kent is up and Faith lands several chops to the chest and looks for an Irish whip but Kent reverses. Faith comes back off the ropes with a flying lariat, sparking cheers from the crowd. Kent uses the ropes to pull himself up and Faith thunders into him with a knee (ala CM Punk) and then runs him out into a bulldog for another two.

*Faith climbs the turnbuckle but Kent is back up and greets him with a right hand. Kent clambers onto the turnbuckle now and looks for a big time superplex off the top rope. Faith shows amazing agility and improvisation to float over and scramble down onto the second rope. He then grabs Kent from behind and pulls him off the ropes into an incredible neckbreaker as the crowd go wild.

*Both men are clearly hurt and the referee starts to count. Faith just manages to crawl over and get his hand on Kent’s chest at the count of five but Kent kicks out on two. We get several replays of the dare-devil mood as the fans continue to voice their enjoyment.

*Faith pulls Kent up and he scores with a vertical suplex. He swivels his hips and nails another before attempting to complete the three amigos. On the third attempt Kent suddenly leaps up and wraps his legs around Faith’s waist, weighting him down into the guillotine. Faith is yelling in pain but somehow manages to survive over a minute in the hold before he is able to reach the ropes.

*Kent is unimpressed with the referee as he watches Faith crawl to the corner and remain seating. Kent then runs in with a brutal kick to the face (ala Matt Cardona) and he pulls Faith away from the ropes and covers for a nearfall. Kent beckons Faith up and lifts him onto his shoulders for the rolling fireman’s carry slam but Faith drops behind and nails the “Ghetto Blaster” (inverted backbreaker/neckbreaker combo).

*Faith crawls up in the corner and stomps his foot. He waits for Kent to rise and then leaps out toward him with the superkick but this time Kent catches his foot and spins him around before lifting him and nails the fireman’s rolling slam for a very close two.

*A “this is awesome” chant rings out as Kent ponders his next move. He looks to the ropes and then shakes his head before motioning for Faith to stand. He tries to pull him in close but Faith elbows his way free and then leaps through the air with a enzeguiri-pele kick variation that lands on the jaw and flattens Kent.
JT: He got all of that kick….and I mean all of it….I’m not sure Kent is even conscious after that….

RJ: But a lot of time has elapsed here….I think we need a clock….anyone know how long this match has been going?

JT: Faith not waiting around to find out….LEAP OF FAITH!

The fans are cheering and there are flashbulbs going off around the Copper Box as Cameron Faith pulls himself up the turnbuckle and then launches himself into the death-defying double rotation moonsault. Unfortunately for him, Kent moves and sends him into a brutal landing across his chest. Faith is left on all fours, all wind driven from him…

RJ: He went all or nothing….

JT: And got nothing…..KENTLOCK!

RJ: He’s got that!

Kent is suddenly up and he quickly dives into his grounded opponent and drags him into the debilitating guillotine choke, wrapping his legs around Faith’s waist for maximum control. Faith is trying desperately to sway, squirm and fight but he cannot shift Kent from off of him….

JT: Cameron Faith is in big, big trouble here….he went high risk with that submission but he missed and left himself wide open to this devastating submission….

RJ: Kent couldn’t have this in any tighter….Scott Harris passed out to this very move last week…

JT: I don’t think Cameron Faith is far away from the same fate….

The crowd are willing Faith to fight it and he continues to try and kick his way across the ring, either to find the ropes or somehow shift Kent off of him but he achieves neither. Kent’s face is a picture of furious determination and his forearms are bulging as he turns up the pressure to the maximum…

RJ: All that groundwork he laid earlier with the neck may be about to pay off…..referee needs to be checking Faith here…..I don’t even know if he’s still breathing…..wait he’s tapping, he’s tapping out….he had no choice…

JT: His foot is under the rope, referee….

Cameron Faith’s left leg is a couple of inches underneath the bottom rope but the referee’s view is blocked by Kent’s back as he kneels down next to Faith and is talking to him. Faith, reluctantly, taps his hand against the hip of Kent as the referee calls for the bell…

RJ: Talk about hella controversy again here….

JT: JJ Johnson and the rest of the board may want to have a word with their officials because that is another huge call been blown…..Faith tapped out, sure, nobody is disputing that but his foot was under the ropes…..that submission should not have counted…

RJ: Tell that to Eddy Kent…..he’s loving this….

“Succession” is ringing out and the crowd are booing as Kent gets to his feet and he kicks the bottom rope and fist pumps the air. He beats his own chest and seems very proud of what he has just accomplished….

JT: Kent may not even know Faith’s foot was under the ropes….I’m sure he probably doesn’t even care….he felt the tap…he’s got the W….

RJ: And it goes some way to helping him get over last week’s disappointment…..Eddy Kent has the win here but the fact remains that this should not have been valid…

Eddy Kent demands the referee raise his arm in victory again before he, mockingly, pretends to dust off his feet on Cameron Faith, who remains on the deck. Kent shrugs off the crowd’s boos as he climbs from the ring onto the stage. Faith is sitting up now as the replays play on the VIPTron and the whole arena is able to see Faith’s foot under the rope. Back live and Faith is staring at the screen in disbelief…

JT: I’m not sure Cameron Faith can believe it….

RJ: None of us can…..I make this perhaps 3 calls in two weeks that have been fumbled?

JT: Definitely two….at least one per show, that cannot be allowed to continue…..these men’s livelihoods and dreams are on the line….

Faith is on his feet and trying to complain to the official but the referee is quick to exit the ring and doesn’t seem to want to be drawn on what the Copper Box has just seen.

RJ: It’s just like the Premier League, officials not being held accountable for their terrible performances….

JT: Folks this match went fourteen minutes and thirty eight seconds…..not only has Cameron Faith been unfairly treated here, he was literally twenty two seconds away from a draw….

RJ: A draw he would have certainly got had the referee called the rope break…..these are the fine margins we are talking about…..Cameron Faith is now 1 win, 1 loss……he should be, at least, 1 win and 1 draw….this can cost you the big time…

JT: Whereas Eddy Kent is, in fact, now 1 win and 1 draw when he should likely be 2 draws….I don’t think this is the last we hear on this…

*Eddy Kent walks into the back with a towel over his shoulder. He’s just cleaning himself off when he hears some of the backstage crew discussing the controversial end to the last match. He looks at them and is ready to retort when Alex Walker walks into shot and we hear him say “Congrats champ”. The two men shake hands and Walker tells Kent that he just put on a hell of a show. Kent says people are talking trash on him and saying he didn’t deserve to win. Walker dismisses that and says the referee, Ralph Santos, is a damn good man and would have made the call he believed was right. Walker says Santos was a referee back in 6CW when Genesis won the tag titles for the first time and then Kent remembers and nods his head.

Walker tells Kent not to worry about what the “unwashed” think because it’s all about success and Kent is one step closer now to the mountain top. Walker says there are two more shows until “From the Ashes and if Kent keeps winning then maybe he can sway the Board’s decision on who deserves to compete for world titles.

Kent is looking smug as Scott Harris walks into shot and they go head to head. Harris says the path to a world title goes through him and they are far from done. Kent agrees and wants to get it done. Both men look at Walker and he smirks. He assures Harris that the Board will be discussing the matter through the night and there will be a decision before the end of the show.

*Scene change and GazzyD is being interviewed by Clarissa. First port of call is last week’s victory over Daniel Reilly. Gazzy says it’s great to be back and it felt good to get the W but then he heard the boos from the crowd. He knows there are those who felt he didn’t win last week but that isn’t his fault. He shows up and he gives it his all like he has done his entire career and maybe, just maybe, he was due a little bit of luck.

Clarissa wants to probe a little on Gazzy’s mindset but he says he doesn’t want to talk about it at this time. He says many people are aware that the last few years have been difficult for him but wrestling has always been the one thing that he can do to take him away from distractions.

Gazzy looks a little conflicted and then goes on to say that unfortunately, this time, the distractions are here too. So he’s unsure on how easy it’s going to be but wrestling is all he has so he cannot afford to let it go.

Clarissa asks about tonight’s match with Clarke James and Gazzy makes a sarcastic comment about “I wonder who’s idea that was”. Clarissa pushes him on that and Gazzy says it all adds up……two weeks running and he’s gone up against Daniel Reilly and now one of the most maniacal, blood lusting superstars on the planet….whilst others on the roster have had “two soft touches” in a row….

Clarissa wants to know more but Gazzy tells her to “forget it”…..he says his full focus is on Clarke James because he cannot afford not to be. Clarissa talks about potentially challenging for a title at “From the Ashes” and if Gazzy wins tonight he must be a shoe in but he laughs and says “you really think she’d….” but then he stops himself and says he needs to go and get ready.

This time an eight count on EZ and Rock v2 climbs down off the stage and pulls EZ Money down with him.Rock v2 throws EZ Money into the crowd who are going nuts and they battle back and forth through the crowd with EZ Money throwing lager on Rock v2.The two men end up back by ringside and EZ starts choking Rock v2 with some cable cord at the timekeepers table

Ref-1....2.......3.........4...........5..............6...............7...................8.....

The third eight count and a long one as EZ Money starts clearing the commentary desk and hits Rock v2 in the head with a monitor before putting Rock v2 on top of the commentary table and setting himself up for his own Rock Bottom.Rock v2 starts elbowing EZ in the side of the head and hits a Rock Bottom through the table as both men are down

Ref-1...2....3......4.......5.........6.........7.............

Both men start stirring

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:19

*We get a shot of Uryu Ishida up on the rooftops and he is whirling a kendo stick and stretching. The door opens and Christy James walks out to join him.

Uryu looks happy but surprised by Christy’s presence. She tells him she just wanted to wish him luck. Uryu talks to her about the conflict of coming up with Marlon during Project X but having to face him tonight. Christy puts a hand on his shoulder and says this is just business and not every fight has to be personal. She tells Uryu that she believes in him and she really thinks that he can become world champion, accomplishing his dream. Uryu looks at her and says he doesn’t think he’d of ever got this far if it wasn’t for her. A stagehand then opens the door suddenly and Christy jumps back, startled, as Uryu is given the green light to head to ringside. Christy smiles as Uryu bows to her and follows the stagehand off the roof. Christy is left looking troubled.

Match 6
Uryu Ishida vs Marlon

*Marlon is already waiting at ringside as we get a shot of Xanthi Rose joining Max Adamson at the 6CWF panel table so that they can watch the battle of the former Project X members.

*There is a standing ovation in the Copper Box as Uryu Ishida makes his entrance. The commentators talk about how Uryu joined Project X in the back end of 2008 and teamed with Marlon for a time before they broke off in different directions. Jeff Thadeus is interested in the presence of Max, Xanthi and Rex Adamson here as though it’s a full blown family reunion.

*Uryu listens to the reaction of the crowd and looks touched. The commentators then debate the Uryu/Christy relationship and if GazzyD had potentially saw that. RJ believes Uryu is playing with fire because Gazzy & Christy are still married.

*Uryu reaches out a hand to touch knuckles with his former friend and Marlon takes it before dragging Uryu into a huge sidewalk slam (ala Big Bossman) which seems to take everyone by surprise. Marlon can be heard talking trash and telling Uryu “You think we still friends? This isn’t some kind of reunion, sucka”

*Uryu stumbles up in the corner and Marlon crushes him with a huge splash before lifting him onto his shoulders. He walks him out to centre ring for a death valley driver but Uryu swivels his body and counters with a poisonrana that spikes Marlon on the back of his neck.

*They rise and Uryu runs the ropes and returns with a flying dropkick to the chest that sends Marlon crashing back into the corner and slumps into a seated position. Ishida then runs in and lands with a cannonball splash.

*Uryu rolls out onto the apron and waits for Marlon to rise before springboarding back in for a forearm smash but Marlon ducks under it and lands an axe handle to the gut. He quickly drags Ishida up and this time nails an inverted lifting DDT (ala Dvon Dudley) which gets him a two count.

*Marlon points out to the crowd and gets a wave from Xanthi and a whistle from Max. He beckons for Uryu to stand and then drags him forward and flips him up for a powerbomb but Ishida jumps out back and lands a flash superkick to the back of Marlon’s head, sending him through the ropes to the outside.

*Uryu wows the audience as he runs to the ropes and vaults over the top to take Marlon down on the outside. He then chucks him back in the ring and climbs up onto the apron. Marlon gets up and chases forward but Uryu lands a step-up kick over the top rope that sends him staggering back. Ishida grips the top rope and he lands flush with the flying forearm that leaves Marlon flat on his back.

JT: You know I don’t think Marlon has a lot left here…

RJ: I’m inclined to agree….Max and Xanthi aren’t likely to be cheering so much now….Marlon’s shock tactics to start this bout have not got him very far…

JT: It was always a big ask given Uryu’s ability but still…..considering the height and weight advantage for Marlon, he’s been overmatched….

Uryu kneels over Marlon for a second and we hear him saying “For me, this isn’t personal”…..he pats Marlon on the chest and then heads to the corner. The crowd are going wild as Ishida makes it to the top rope….he then looks over toward the 6CWF Panel area and he waves at Xanthi and Max before launching himself through the air….

RJ: SPLIT SECOND!

JT: You can call it a night….

1……………………2…………………..3!

RJ: Uryu picks up win number two…..the veteran is flying….

JT: 100% win record…..could this finally be Uryu Ishida’s time?

RJ: I mean there’s going to be tougher challenger to come but you can only beat what they put in front of you….Uryu is two from two, I’d say that stands him in great stead….

It is cheers all round as Uryu gets back to his feet and has his arm raised in victory. Marlon has already rolled from the ring and is looking disappointed with his performance…

RJ: We’ve said it before but I don’t mind saying again that I believe Uryu Ishida is getting better with age…..I saw this guy fifteen years ago in 6WF and I barely recognise him…..I mean this is a top tier talent….

JT: No doubt about it…..Uryu is riding the crest of a wave….maybe it is the twilight of his career but he’s enjoying every minute of it….

*Backstage and we see Drake putting on his jacket and heading for the parking lot. He is looking edgy as he scans the perimeter before getting in his car and driving off. There are barely a few moments that pass before we see Johnny Oko, surrounded by his “guards” heading out to the parking lot and getting in their own vehicle before driving away. Alex Walker is then shown standing on a balcony and looking down on the comings of goings with a raised eyebrow. He begins to type on his phone.

*The scene changes and Liam Wood is shown heading back to the hallway of champions. He is carrying his own photo and we see him placing it on the wall of the night he became EWF World Champion for the first time inside of “War Games”. We then see that Wood is wearing an old-school “EWF” t-shirt.

*Cameron Faith is with Tim Allen backstage following his loss to Eddy Kent. Faith is pi55ed at taking an L under such controversial circumstances but he also admits that “(beep) happens” and that he needs to move past that and set his sights on next week. Faith doesn’t believe he is out of the running for a world title but knows he needs to redeem himself next week. Allen talks about how the show will be in Glasgow and Faith is hoping his hometown fans will push him toward victory. Glasgow’s Most Wanted then walk into shot and they introduce themselves to Faith. They say they are big fans and they’ll be competing next week as well. They say it will be an honour to compete on the same card as another Glasgow native. Faith seems unsure how to react but he accepts the handshakes as the scene ends.

Match 7
Clarke James vs GazzyD

*The crowd are hyped to the rafters for the following contest as the commentators talk up two fantastic talents that are about to do battle. Jeff Thadeus alludes to the fact that there is an expectant, nervous, air to proceedings because of Clarke James’ involvement and just what to expect from him in his quest to become world champion again.

*GazzyD is the first to arrive and there is a cacophony of cheers for him. The cameras do pick up one or two boos from the crowd and RJ talks about how Gazzy’s comments may have been construed in a way that he was taking shots at his wife, someone who holds practically universal popularity amongst wrestling fans. JT says he thinks Gazzy is stuck between a rock and a hard place and he wouldn’t want to in his position.

*Gazzy climbs into the ring and is stretching before Clarke James enters the fray, met by unanimous boos around the Copper Box. James doesn’t seem to care in the slightest as he makes his way toward the ring, eyes completely fixed upon GazzyD. The commentators debate on CJ’s state of mind and if anyone is really “safe” whilst he is around. JT talks about how Clarke is a dangerous individual but his goal is to be world champion and that means, whether he likes it or not, he’ll have to toe the line in order to put himself in position.

*The two combatants square off and then CJ offers a handshake, which seems to take everyone by surprise. Gazzy looks highly suspicious but then slaps CJ’s hand, which draws a smirk, and then the bell sounds. They circle and then lockup. CJ twists the arm of Gazzy but the “History Maker” quickly jumps onto the second rope and counters out with an armdrag takedown. They scramble back up and Gazzy looks for a clothesline but CJ ducks it and snaps off a jab. He whips Gazzy off the ropes but Gazzy dodges a clothesline on the comeback and handsprings into a back elbow takedown.

*Gazzy tries to grab CJ for a “skull crushing finale” but CJ elbows his way to freedom and then he lifts him into an atomic drop. CJ quickly runs off the ropes and returns with a brutal lariat to the back of his opponent’s neck. Gazzy manages to kick out on two

*CJ pulls Gazzy up and attempts a suplex but Gazzy swings his body in midair to counter with a headscissors takedown. They get back up and Gazzy cartwheels out of Clarke’s trajectory before landing a dropkick that knocks him off his feet. Gazzy quickly drags CJ up and scores with a brainbuster but only succeeds in a two.

*Gazzy heads for the corner and begins to climb. Clarke is slowly getting back as Gazzy leaps toward him and he sidesteps at the last minute. Gazzy wobbles off balance and then throws himself into a forward roll. He gets back up and runs at CJ but is tilt-a-whirled out into a neckbreaker for another close call.

*James circles Gazzy, weighing him up, and then looks for “Faithless” but Gazzy swivels his body and locks his legs around CJ’s before dragging him into a forward roll and a pinning combo, gaining a 2 count.

*They get back up and Gazzy looks for a hurricanrana but CJ catches him and then drops him backward across the top rope. Gazzy is flat as James goes to the top rope and lands with an astonishing corkscrew senton. James looks almost murderous as Gazzy finds the bottom rope with his boot before the three.

*James drops and chokes Gazzy until the count of four and then repeats it twice more before the referee threatens disqualification. CJ watches Gazzy using the ropes to get up and the rushes off the opposite side and returns with a splash, crushing Gazzy against the ropes (ala Big Bossman).

*CJ roughly drags Gazzy into the corner and unloads with brutal chops to the chest, leaving his chest red raw. He then headbutts Gazzy and begins to bite at his face as the referee is forced to pull him away and once again threatens to throw him out. James looks almost rabid as he runs back in but Gazzy drives both feet up into his face and sends him staggering back. Gazzy lifts himself onto the second rope and leaps off but jumps straight into a spinebuster for a two count.

*CJ pulls Gazzy up into a snap suplex and then rolls on top and punches down at his head before following up with brutal elbows and forearms as Gazzy tries to cover up. Gazzy turns out onto his front and CJ attempts to put him in a crossface. Gazzy quickly scrambles for the ropes and grabs ahold as the referee forces the break.

*Gazzy heads to the outside to grab a breather as CJ follows. He clubs Gazzy from behind and then lifts him up, dropping him across the security railing. He drags Gazzy around ringside and slams his head against the top of the Japanese announce desk before whipping him toward the steel steps. Gazzy shows great athleticism to leap over the steps and then he jumps onto the ringside barrier and flies back with an epic moonsault takedown on the outside.

*Gazzy throws CJ back into the ring and then pulls himself onto the apron. He looks around at the crowd and then launches himself into a springboard 450 but CJ drives his knees up. Gazzy gets back up and James drills him with an uranage slam but still only manages to get a two.

*CJ looks at the referee with a darkened expression and then goes into stalking mode again. He waits for Gazzy to rise and then drags him in for “Faithless” but Gazzy fights free and then lands a step up enzeguiri. CJ is dazed as Gazzy then springboards off the ropes and lands a “Stylin” inverted DDT for a two.

*Gazzy wills CJ up and kicks him in the stomach. He sets up for “Deep Impact” but CJ swipes his legs and then catapults him to the corner. Gazzy lands on the second rope and then leaps up top before twisting back out for a crossbody, only to be caught with an exceptional Samoan drop.

JT: These two men have gone hell for leather here….I mean this has been pay per view quality from the get go…

RJ: You put two of the best in the ring at once and this is what you get….

JT: Clarke James looking at GazzyD like he’s prime prey now though…..he’s gonna try and put him out here……SLEEPER!

Gazzy is dazed and on unsteady legs as he gets up and Clarke grabs him from behind and applies the sleeper. Gazzy is waving his arms and desperately trying to pull free but he cannot break the grip….

RJ: Clarke is one of the most severe predators in the game today and he smells blood in the water….I don’t think there is an escape route here…

The crowd are willing Gazzy to find the ropes but he is struggling under the weight of the hold and CJ’s strength. The referee is standing in front and asking Gazzy if he wants to give it up….

JT: I’m really not sure how much longer Gazzy can survive this….

RJ: It’s locked tight……OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!

*Crowd cheer

Gazzy, in his last ditch attempt, pulls forward toward the corner and he leaps up to press his feet against the top turnbuckle before backflipping over James’ head, forcing him to break the grip. It serves to knock James off balance and Gazzy immediately flattens him with a “skull crushing finale”…..

JT: How on earth….

RJ: He is the “history maker” after all…

1.
….2
..
………..3!

JT: How close can you get….

The majority of the crowd believe it’s a three but James just manages to pop his shoulder off the canvass before the referee can complete the count. Gazzy can’t quite believe it….

RJ: Gazzy can’t afford to sit around and feel sorry for himself….CJ is weakened here….

JT: STARHSHIP PAIN….OH HO, HE GOT HIM!

Gazzy is back up, taking a deep breath, and then he leaps onto the top rope and lands the split-legged corkscrew moonsault….

RJ: Clarke James is done here…

1.
..
..
…..2
..
..
..
……….thr-shoulder up!

JT: I can’t believe it….

RJ: I don’t think anyone can….even the referee seems surprised….

JT: Clarke James proving his resiliency here tonight and boy does he needs it….

RJ: But there really cannot be much left at all…..Gazzy has got him on the ropes….

Gazzy sits for another moment in disbelief at the fact CJ has kicked out before getting back to his feet. He spits in anguish and then beckons for his opponent to rise. CJ is clearly hurting and is only just able to make it to his knees….Gazzy is about to move in and grab him when CJ raises his head and holds up his hands…

Clarke: Wait….I saw them….you’re pathetic w(beep) of a wife and the loser Ishida….up on the roof just before we came out here….sneaking around behind your back….

JT: The hell is Clarke James doing here?

RJ: He’s getting in Gazzy’s head….

Clarke: Why don’t you get up there and check for yourself….if you’re quick you might get there in time to see him finish…

Gazzy seems stunned by Clarke’s words and he briefly looks toward the stage and in that fleeting instant Clarke reacts and jumps up, landing a hard chop right to Gazzy’s throat. Gazzy is instantly debilitated and James pounces….

JT: FAITHLESS….GOT HIM!

1……………..2………………3!

RJ: Clarke James gets the win…..he wormed his way inside the mind of GazzyD, dragging himself from the jaws of defeat, and he comes away victorious in another classic…

JT: Another epic bout that was only minutes short of the fifteen minute time limit….I was sure Gazzy had this one sewn up…

RJ: But his personal demons were used against him and that’s all it took for him to take his eye off the ball…

JT: Literally half a second of distraction and Clarke James went for the kill, that’s all it took…

RJ: Clarke James preys on weakness and your biggest fears….he exploits them….and you really would not bet against him regaining a world title at “From the Ashes”…

JT: With performances like that, definitely…..GazzyD put on a stellar display but it’s CJ coming away with the W and that will reverberate all around the backstage area…

RJ: What is Clarke doing here? Cmon now…

James doesn’t pause to let the referee raise his hand in victory but instead he climbs from the ring and immediately grabs two steel chairs from the timekeeper’s area. The crowd are booing as CJ dumps the weapons back in the ring….

JT: Hold on a damn minute here….you won the match, Clarke…why do you need to do this?

RJ: Because this is what Clarke James does…..

The referee tries to get in front of CJ and talk some sense but Clarke pushes him over and then places one of the chairs underneath Gazzy’s head. He then picks up the second chair..

JT: Someone needs to stop this….GazzyD doesn’t’ deserve this….

RJ: Nobody deserves this….but Clarke James is on a path of destruction….Rock V2 was his first victim, looks like GazzyD will be second…

*Crowd pop

JT: Or maybe not….thank goodness….

Suddenly Acer comes storming onto the stage, looking furious, and he is followed by a team of security. Clarke James doesn’t look fazed at all and looks ready to continue his assault when Acer raises a mic…

Acer: Don’t you dare, you crazy son of (beep)…

*Crowd cheer as CJ looks up at Acer

Acer: You bring that chair down and I promise you I’ll bring down the curtain on your career…..

*Clarke James raises an eyebrow

Acer: Don’t believe me? I just came from the Board room and every single one of us is on board to, at the very least, suspending your a55 if you use that steel chair…..

*More cheers from the crowd

RJ: That’s the right call…

Acer: And I know you think you’re the new big bad around here but you’re certainly not the brightest…..you see you get suspended and guess what? No world title for you…

JT: Clarke James’ bluff is being called here…

Acer: You won your match, I can’t dispute or change that….but your contract says you are a 6CWF performer and, by my reckoning, your performance for tonight is over….so what you’re going to do is drop that steel chair and then you’re going to follow me and these boys out of the arena because your night is done…

RJ: Acer laying down the law here….

JT: But will Clarke James listen?

RJ: He will if he wants the title…

James seems to be weighing up his next move, his eyes flashing with malice, but then he throws the chair aside and climbs from the ring. He slowly walks across the ramp and stands in front of Acer. The two men glare at one another before they begin to walk to the back, security flanking them on both sides…

RJ: This whole issue with Clarke James is not going anywhere in a hurry and has already become a real flashpoint for the Board to deal with….

JT: Which goes back to the big question….has JJ Johnson made a huge mistake?

RJ: Do you want my opinion on that?

JT: Sure…

RJ: You’re damn right he has…..Clarke James cannot be controlled and it is only a matter of time before someone else gets seriously hurt by him…

JT: I won’t argue that….I don’t think GazzyD is aware of how close he came to being put out of commission here…

Clarke is still being booed as follows Acer and the security backstage. GazzyD is just sitting up and he’s looking at the steel chair under his head. He then stares back toward the ramp…

RJ: I think Gazzy’s mind may only be on one thing and I’d say his next stop after here will be the rooftop…

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:24

*Backstage and an uber confident Rex Adamson is standing by with Clarissa. During the introduction Rex is constantly pointing to his “Man Sausage Sure” t-shirt and intimating for people to buy it. He then flirts with Clarissa and tells her they should “keep it in the family”.

Rex goes on to say he’s proud to be making his debut here tonight and to share the ring with a legend of the game like Lex Hart is more than he could have dreamed. But that’s where the fanboy era ends because he didn’t just come here to make up the numbers. He was the most sought after free agent on the market and tonight everyone will see why.

He goes on to explain that he respects Lex and his accomplishments but that now is his time, his generation. Rex promises to make an impact here tonight and soon everyone will realise that the hype is real

*Scene change and Lex Hart, receiving a big cheer, is talking with Jack Reynolds. Lex talks up his opponent tonight and says he expects great things from Rex Adamson in the future but to think, on his debut, he can take on and defeat one of the greats is a little presumptuous. Lex says there’s plenty of drive and fight in him yet and it will take something special to keep him down.

Reynolds moves on to ask about what we saw earlier tonight between Lex and Mike Hill. Lex says Hill needed to find out the hard way what happens when you screw with him. He’s been around this business a long time and everyone knows that Lex Hart is not the guy you want to enter into a war with. Mike Hill drew the battlelines and now Hart has responded with a receipt.

JR asks if Hart is expecting any backlash from his actions. Lex admits that Hill is the kind of guy to seek retribution but he would be a fool to do so because this is a war he cannot win. Reynolds thanks Lex for his time and he heads off toward ringside. He passes by the open backstage area and we see Alex Walker and Eddy Kent talking with one another. They both watch Lex as he walks on by.

*Back to ringside and the commentary team have some announcements for us in regards to next week

*Scott Harris vs Eddy Kent II – The rematch
*Tyler Roth/Marty Helms vs GMW
*Liam Wood vs Dario Machiavelli
*Clarke James vs Cameron Faith
*Plus much more

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:25

Main Event
Lex Hart vs Rex Adamson

We are back out at ringside and the fans are in fine voice as the cameras pan around the Copper Box and then come back to settle on the ring. “Be Myself” then blasts through the speakers and there is a huge ovation for the arrival of Lex Hart. An explosion of pink pyros fill the air before Hart enters the fray…

JT: One of the most decorated stars in the history of both 6CW and 6WF…..former world champion of both companies….former leader of, arguably, the greatest faction in history, Genesis,….and also one of the finest tag team competitors of all time….

RJ: Lex Hart’s resume speaks for itself…..this is one of the top guys of the era, no doubt about it….he also showed last week that there is plenty left in the tank….age has not caught up with Lex Hart…

JT: He’s only just 40…..I mean in this game many would consider that prime…..I’ve seen world champions in their 50s….Lex Hart could, potentially, just be hitting his peak…

RJ: If that’s true then everyone else should be concerned because he’s already at such a high level….

Lex stands on the stage and he breathes in the cheers from the crowd before stepping through the ropes into the ring.

JT: Lex and these fans have had quite a relationship…..they have gone from hating him to loving him on several occasions….but right now he’s one of their favourites….

RJ: People know what to expect from Hart now….we know he can be cold, calculation and callous….he’s very dangerous….but he is also one of the best technical wrestlers in the game and his ability to come out here every night and put on a show is what makes him popular with the fans…

JT: We’ve already seen Lex twice tonight…..beginning of the show he was involved in a brawl with Mike Hill….later on he then cost Mike Hill his triple threat match and busted him wide open with a steel chair shot……will Mike Hill seek revenge before the night is out?

RJ: I’d suspect Mike Hill is in the nearest hospital having his head stitched up but you never know….Lex got him good…

JT: He sure did…..Lex returned the favour on Hill after last week’s unprovoked attack from Hill….

RJ: But Lex cannot afford to think on that right now because he has an opponent to focus on…

JT: And what a moment this will be…

“Renegades of Funk” then rips through the airwaves and is met by a variety of noise from the fans in attendance. There are some cheers and some boos before we get a shot of Max Adamson, who has made his way to the front row, looking proud. Pyros explode before Rex Adamson swaggers onto the stage…

RJ: History right here…..18 years old….Rex Adamson is main eventing on his debut…

JT: Which just goes to show how highly regarded this kid is…..an amateur superstar….Rex Adamson turned down the Olympics to sign his 6CWF contract…..he says this is in his blood….so the question already will be….can he follow in the footsteps of his Uncle Max?

RJ: Rex says he is his own man….but his Uncle does provide a very big shadow to step out from….comparisons are only natural….

Rex Adamson, dressed in his black and white singlet, stands on the stage for a few moments and soaks in the atmosphere. He nods his head in time to the music and then raises his arms as more pyros explode. Rex makes his way to the ring and then climbs down from the ramp to share a huge with his Uncle…

JT: I don’t think I have ever seen a debut from someone so you…..and in a main event, against one of the best ever….Rex has to be nervous here, surely?

RJ: You’d think so but I’m not so sure….Rex Adamson seems a very sure young man….

JT: Man Sausage Sure?

RJ: You said it….

Rex climbs up onto the apron and then leaps over the top rope. He eyes Lex Hart before accepting a handshake from the veteran….

JT: 22 years between these two men….Rex Adamson was 7 years old when Lex Hart was leading Genesis and winning the 6CW World Championship…..that is insane to think….

RJ: It really is…..the old guard against the new breed….this is a truly fascinating main event on the second ever episode of 6CWF Proving Grounds…

The fans are making a great noise as the referee has a final word with both men and then signals for the bell. Lex and Rex circle one another and then lockup in the centre of the ring. Lex tries to outhustle the debutant but Adamson manages to drop down and swivel around back before taking Hart’s legs from under him….

JT: That is the collegiate background right there….

RJ: Lex Hart is a graduate of the Hart family dungeon but he looked like the rookie there…

There are some cheers from the crowd as Rex rustles Hart’s hair and clambers back up. Lex nods his head in appreciation as he gets up. They then circle again before locking up. Adamson takes the back again but this time he lifts Hart up off the deck and slams him into the mat before rolling over the front and placing Hart in a, face down, chinlock….

JT: Rex Adamson already showing his wrestling ability…

Lex squirms and fights before he is able to get to his knees. Rex is still leaning over him and has control of the neck before Lex is able to just rush forward and he squashes Rex in the corner. Hart manages to pull himself free and then unloads with a fierce chop to the chest…

RJ: WHOAH!

Rex looks annoyed by the chop and then shows huge strength and power to shove Hart in the chest and sends him flying backwards into a roll…

JT: That is crazy power from the youngster….Lex can’t believe it…

Lex is on his knees again and he is staring at Rex Adamson with surprise. Rex urges him to get back up and they lockup for a third time but Lex pulls free and slams a boot into the gut of Adamson before delivering a big suplex………………..1………………..kickout!

RJ: Lex had to go into his bag of tricks there to get the upperhand…

JT: Only got him a one count though….that is all…

Lex grabs Rex and drives the point of his elbow down into the neck before dragging him up for another suplex. This time Rex floats over the back and he slams a hard fist into the small of Lex’s back before nailing a huge release German suplex…

RJ: Astonishing stuff from Rex Adamson…

Lex is on unsteady legs as he gets back up and Rex drops him with a huge discus clothesline……………..1……………2………….shoulder up. Rex stands and nails three consecutive elbows to the heart of his opponent before dragging him back up. He lifts Lex into a suplex and holds him there for ten seconds before dropping him in a heap on the mat….

JT: Eighteen years old and he’s throwing a grown man around like he’s nothing…

Adamson grabs Lex by the hair and attempts to flip him into a powerbomb but Lex falls out front and lands with another big chop to the chest. He follows up with two more and then attempts an Irish whip but Adamson reverses and sends him off the ropes. Rex drops his head for a backdrop but Lex leaps over him and runs off the opposite side before returning with a big dropkick takedown. They get back up as Rex falls to the corner and Hart thunders into him with a running forearm to the jaw….he pulls Rex from the corner…

RJ: Jackhammer….can he get him up?

Lex tries three times but he cannot get Rex up. Rex then counters with a suplex of his own. This time he shifts his free hand so that it is on the small of Hart’s back and then he just throws him across the ring. Lex lands badly and is holding his spine….

JT: Talk about a bad, bad landing there…

Rex moves quickly and he underhooks both of Lex’s arms before lifting him up and flipping him out into another slam……………….1……………………2…………….kickout!

RJ: Rex is finding his groove here and Lex is struggling with the power….

JT: He’s taken some big shots to the back already…

Lex gets to his feet and it is Rex’s turn to unleash huge chops, which can be heard all around the arena. Lex’s shouts of pain fill the air and his chest is soon red raw. Adamson then grabs Lex’s arm and whips him off the ropes before scoring with a huge backdrop this time around….

RJ: Once again to the back….

Hart stumbles up and Rex pops him into the air and then uses his momentum on the way down to slam him on his back again……………………1…………………….2…………..kickout!

JT: You would never guess this Rex Adamson’s first ever professional contest…

RJ: So far he is dominant against one of the best….

Rex slams right hands down into the head of Lex and then he pulls him up. He shoves him back into the ropes and unloads with more chops to the chest before sending Lex across the ring. On the comeback he pops Lex up again but this time Lex lands a dropkick takedown. They get back up and Lex scores with a jumping high knee to the jaw which staggers Rex and then floors him with a spinning sambo suplex….

JT: Lex bringing out the heavy artillery…..

1.
…..2
……………Rex kicks out!

RJ: More like it from Lex Hart but he needs even bigger….

Lex lets Rex get to his feet and he lifts him into an atomic drop before running him forward and throwing him against the turnbuckle. Lex then climbs up and begins to administer a ten punch combo…..

JT: Lookout now….

Lex reaches seven when Rex walks him out of the corner. He looks for a powerbomb but Hart rolls down the back into a pinning combo…………………….1………………….2……………..kickout!

RJ: Still not enough but Lex almost got caught out there….

They scramble back up and Rex looks for a huge lariat but Hart ducks it and snaps of a leaping neckbreaker. He then makes his way to the ropes and lands a moonsault off the bottom rope. He follows up with one from the second rope and then signals he is going for a third…

JT: Lex looking to complete the hat trick here….WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!

Lex springs up onto the top rope as somehow Rex gets back up. Lex flips over as Adamson catches him across his shoulders. Rex staggers but regains his balance and then runs Hart into a powerslam………………..1………………….2……………….kickout!

RJ: Rex Adamson even on just one showing is impressing the hell out of me….

Max Adamson is shown shouting words of encouragement from ringside as Rex walks to the corner and perches down. His eyes are trained on Lex as he waits for him to get up and then charges forward…

JT: GORE!

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Monday May 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:26

Lex counters the spear attempt with a drop toe hold and then he rolls Rex over and looks to apply a sharpshooter. Adamson thrashes from one side to the other and then uses his leg strength to throw him away. They get back up and Lex runs forward but Adamson meets him and lifts him off the floor before charging him back into the corner. He explodes with shoulder thrusts to the midsection and then lifts Lex to the top rope…

RJ: Big risk incoming…

Adamson climbs up and sets for a superplex but Lex drives punches into the ribcage and then lands a headbutt. He gets his arm up and slams a forearm across the bridge of Rex’s nose which sends him crashing to the canvass below.

JT: Lex gonna fly here…..

Lex stands up tall on the top rope and then propels himself through the air but Rex moves away and sends his opponent crashing into the canvass. Lex is winded as Adamson grabs him around the waist and delivers a hat-trick of German suplexes….

RJ: Unreal strength from this kid…..what a showing….

1.

..
..
……….thr-kickout¬

JT: Lex struggling to get the air back in his lungs….

Rex drags Hart up and whips him into the corner. He follows in but Lex uses the ropes to push himself into the air and over the head of the oncoming opponent…

RJ: Rex had him scouted….he caught the legs…..WHAT A SLAM!

Rex drills Hart into the canvass with a huge Alabama slam and then poses in front of the crowd.

JT: Rex needs to stay on his opponent here….now is not the time get man sausage sure….

Adamson beckons Lex back onto his feet and lifts him up onto his shoulders…

RJ: Adamson looking to end this….

Rex gets Hart up on his shoulders for the “fire thunder driver” but Lex drops off behind. He drives his boot into Rex’s stomach as he turns around and then runs off the ropes…

JT: CAUGHT HIM AGAIN!

Rex is waiting and ducks into Hart’s trajectory and scoops him up but Hart fights off the back again and he lands a dropkick to the knees. Rex drops to his knees as Hart lands a flash superkick to the face……………….1…………………2………………kickout!

RJ: Lex trying to fight his way back into this now….

Hart makes his way to the ropes and he climbs out onto the apron. He stalks his foe and then springboards back in with a clothesline takedown. Adamson gets back up and runs forward but Hart sidesteps and sends him off the ropes before flooring him with a heel kick on the comeback. Lex then succeeds in lifting Rex up into a suplex and turns it into a falcon arrow….

JT: Fantastic work there from Lex Hart….

1.
..
…2
..
…………kickout!

RJ: But this kid has got real guts….

Lex backs into the corner and lifts himself onto the second rope. He urges Rex to stand up and then he leaps toward him…

JT: DESTROYER!

Lex looks to flip over into the “Canadian Destroyer” but Adamson counters with a backdrop. Lex amazingly lands on his feet and runs off the ropes….

RJ: GORE…..GORE…..GORE!

The crowd are on their feet as Rex whips around and dives into the huge spear as Hart runs towards him…..

JT: That has to be it…

RJ: Those are veteran tactics right there…

Lex is crushed but immediately rolls out under the bottom rope to seek solace. Rex takes a moment to breathe deeply and then rolls out after his opponent….

RJ: Rex could have potentially taken a count out victory here on his debut….

JT: Something tells me he wants to make a statement…

Rex grabs Lex and is about to throw him back in the ring when Lex nails a jawbreaker and then whips him, head first, into the steel steps. Hart then springs onto the ringside barrier, in front of Max Adamson, and lands a moonsault across the body of his opponent. He drags Adamson up and throws him into the ring…

RJ: Maybe some naivety on the part of Rex Adamson there….he followed Lex out of the ring and now he has given up control of this fight…

Lex waits on the apron again before catapulting himself over into a splash…………….1…………………..2……………kickout!

JT: Lex Hart has been in this game so long….he knows how to weather a storm….and it looks as though he may have done just that….

RJ: He knows he has Rex Adamson hurt here now…..RKO!

Lex leaps through the air for the “FLATLINE” but Rex shows amazing strength to hold Hart in midair and then drops him into a huge modified backbreaker. Lex stumbles up in the corner and Adamson thunders into him with a splash before launching him across the ring with an overhead throw. Lex stumbles back up and Adamson spins out and lands a huge discus forearm to the face………………..1…………………….2…………….kickout!

JT: We had no idea what to expect of Rex Adamson on his debut match here….but this is incredible….

RJ: First ever professional match and he’s going to the wall with an all time great…

Rex stands up and looks around the Copper Box. There are some boos but also impressed cheers and claps from the audience. He beckons Lex back to his feet and then body presses him over his head….

JT: That is quite amazing strength from Rex Adamson…

Rex parades Hart for a few seconds and then he drops him down into a spear/spinebuster….

RJ: LEX COUNTERED!

Lex falls through the air but manages to grab Rex’s head and plant him with a DDT. The crowd applaud as Lex then heads to the ropes and this time he scores with all three moonsault attempts….

JT: Triple Bypass…..that has to do it….

1………………….2………………3!

RJ: I’m not sure if anything will keep Rex Adamson down tonight….

Max Adamson is slamming his hand against the ringside barrier and shouting more encouragement to his nephew. Lex looks out at Max and then turns back toward Rex. He stalks him and then makes his move…

JT: FLATLINE!

Lex jumps once again for the RKO but Rex slams on the breaks and succeeds in pushing Lex into the turnbuckle. He then runs forward….

RJ: GORE!

Lex sidesteps at the very final second and he sends Adamson through the ropes and crashing into the ringpost. Rex lands hard and looks hurt by the collision. He stumbles back around….

JT: THIRD TIME IS A CHARM!

Cheers ring out as Lex leaps into the air and he drills Adamson in the centre of the ring with the RKO. He hooks both legs….

Post by JJJohnson Mon 15 May - 19:27

..
……………….3!

RJ: GODDAMN MIKE HILL!

The boos ring out as Hill drags the referee under the bottom rope. The official begins to go berserk at Hill…

JT: Is anyone really surprised here?

RJ: I thought Hill was at the hospital…..that black eye looks horrendous…

The cameras pan in on Hill’s face and one of his eyes is swollen and the cut across his nose is visible. He is shrugging at the official as though he has done nothing wrong…

JT: Lex Hart is just realising what has happened here….he looks apoplectic…..

Lex looks to the outside of the ring and he sees Mike Hill arguing with the referee. Hill looks around and sees Hart staring at him before smirking. Lex goes from zero to one hundred in the rage department as he flies out of the ring and gives chase….

RJ: This situation between Hill and Hart is getting out of hand here…

They sprint around ringside and then Hill heads up the steps onto the ramp and back down the other side. Hill leaps over the steel steps on the second go round and then rolls into the ring as Hart follows….

JT: GORE…..TOOK HIM RIGHT OUT OF HIS BOOTS!

Rex Adamson is just recovering and he sees Lex coming through the ropes as he charges forward and takes him out with the huge spear….

1.
..
…2
..
..
…………..3!

JT: He did it….debut match…..first time ever….Rex Adamson just knocked off Lex Hart….

RJ: Thanks to a huge assist from Mike Hill….that goddamn snake had no business here….

JT: The Hill/Hart situation has escalated tenfold here tonight and has ultimately cost Lex this bout….but make no bones about it, Rex Adamson wrestled one hell of a fight…..there is a heck of a future in front of this kid…

RJ: Nobody is gonna dispute that…..win, lose or draw Rex Adamson was coming away from this with major respect…..he put on a great performance against a former world champion….

JT: Lex Hart, however, is gonna look back on this and know that he had this match won had it not been for Mike Hill’s interference…

Rex Adamson lowers his singlet and pounds his chest as the referee raises his arm in victory. He makes his way over to the ropes and climbs up to celebrate. We get a shot of Max Adamson applauding his nephew…

RJ: Astonishing night here at Proving Grounds and it ends with one hell of a story….18 year old Rex Adamson just pinned Lex Hart in his debut match…..you want to talk about statement making?

JT: This young man could become a household name for years to come…..

Rex continues to celebrate before the cameras show Lex Hart, who is sat on the canvass holding his ribs. Mike Hill is standing up on the stage with an arrogant smirk on his face as Lex stares back at him with anger burning in his eyes…

RJ: I don’t think Lex Hart is going to be giving up on this one in a hurry…..

JT: Both men are responsible for the other one losing here tonight…..they have the wounds to prove it….something tells me these two are far from finished with one another….

RJ: Folks we are out of time for this evening but thank you for joining us….it has been an explosive night of action here at the Proving Grounds and we’ll be back next week….live from Glasgow for yet more non-stop drama……goodnight everyone!

*The show ends with Alex Walker sitting at his desk as the phone begins to ring. He takes a moment and then answers…

Walker: You have news for me?

*He listens intently to the voice on the other end

Walker: Really? You’re sure?

*Walker now has a sly grin on his face

Walker: And Johnson doesn’t know? My oh my this is interesting….

*Walker leans back in his chair and looks like he can barely contain laughter

Walker: How very foolish of him…..they really aren’t the sort of people you want to get on the wrong side of…..no, you have done more than enough……leave the rest up to me….I can’t wait to speak to him next week….

*Walker puts his phone down on the desk and lets out a laugh

Walker: One down…..five to go!
