Scotland have been off their feet at a lot of attacking rucks they've been very lucky not to concede a penalty before now. That one was blatant, no attempt to arrive on his feet or actually ruck, flop down on the ball.

Good game, played at some tempo. Really good to see Italy being so competitive this year.

Great tries from Scotland and Italy so far. Scotland too loose though, Italy are staying in touch when a cannier side wouldn’t be letting Italy play. Scotland need to control the game better despite some excellent attacking play.

Ridiculous penalty there. Scotland players all over that breakdown. Should have been the other way.

What the hell move was that? Poopie just ran diagonally back to the forward.

Christie looks very talented but he’s given away a few cheap penalties, Horne as well with a clumsy sealing off at the ruck. It’s really been quite a balance between excellent play and poor decision making. The concerned look from Townsend said it all. With ball in hand Scotland look dangerous, off the ball Scotland are struggling to contain Italy like they did against England. Hence Italy being up to 16 already despite only scoring one try. The Italians should feel hugely encouraged. Menoncello looks like he will score at some point but Scotland have managed to contain him thus far.

Just a joy to watch.

Don’t get the forced offloads in the middle of the park. Do they want to lose? This was a just feeding Italy with opportunities to counter.

Can't deny I'm rooting for Italy here, they deserve to be in lead.

Scotland perhaps lucky Italy scored there. Had sir gone back for the penalty the Scottish player was heading to the bin, some desperate scrabbling of the ball on the floor there.

Italy have looked cohesive in attack and caused problems. The Scottish defence is being tested a lot more than against England.

It's the sort of game where you feel either team could score next.

Horne sadly showing why he’s not a starter. Scotland totally lost control either side of half time. Just far too loose

Getting crushed in the scrum as well. Everything gone wrong since that Horne try disallowed.

A very poor touch finder there if I'm being brutal. 6 point up, just got a pen, everything running Italy, good angle to kick from. That needs to be hammered close to the 22m.

Giving away another penalty there. Awful discipline as well as butchering the chance.

Literally every game has gone the same in complete control after 50 minutes then not scored a point after, it's unwatchable the amount of dumb penalties we concede
