I was wondering that. They normally name it after the final but I have a suspicion that it will be named after the World Cup at the same time the iRB World Player of the Year is named.

Gareth Anscombe was the highest points scorer so i would think he would be odds on favourite.. but I havent heard an announcement?

I heard Gareth Anscombe was both player of the final and the tournament on a tv news item here last night but havnt seen it officially anywhere...

As an aside Troy Bleyendale is part of the Crusaders wider training squad like Luke Whitelock.Has he or is he playing ITM this season ?

Tyler Bleyendaal hasn't taken the field at all as far as I can tell. Though he was on the bench while Carter was injured
