Everyone has voted except Gloucester and Andy,

Gloucester may be a write off, although I noticed again that he was posting on his rugby league. Viva - could you go and post your message again, but on his rugby team page instead?

Anyone heard from Andy? I was expecting him back this week.

Nick did you see it last week, I think some of the street tricks are already planned. I noticed the dude on the boat who lost his ring in the sea had exactly the same ring when he repeated the trick in the snow resort and found it in a snow ball. It was a weird ring to so not much chance to people would be wearing a chunky specimen like that.

I agree his tactics were improved this week, although my tactics were far better than his IMO. Player for player his side is much better than mine.

I expected to lose tbh, although when Fan posted it as a draw, my hopes were raised. Thought I might have done enough to cancel him out, especially given that he would have had Mata, Aguero and Gerrard playing in the same space and getting in each others way.

Yeah but Afros tactics were sick, Parker and co man marking Aguero and co + Afro had Cahill spare/covering. Bringing Mata inside so he confuses Aguero and Co, pure Genius.

Can you all post any holidays that you have coming up (which mean you will not be online) on the holiday page.

I am thinking about making next week a weeks break from games as there will be a lot of things that won't be done.

I think Nick has a valid point. The only option is that you all correct your votes and vote for a Sunderland win. Whistle

I can't be bothered going to check but I don't think Mata was down in the tactics to cut inside I remember something like keeping a lot of width?
Aguero, Gerrard & Mata are some of the most intelligient players in the league, I don't think they will run into each other for 90minutes lol.
Afro's tactics were better, but the difference in quality was quite high and Liverpool had some impact subs to.

I think Mata's natural tendancy is to go inside and create with clever passes as that is what he does most of the time in La Liga. He does not really have the game where he beats a full back for pace and skill on the outside and get crosses in. My tactics were to show him inside the fill the space used by Aguero and Gerrard.

The question is would he resist the temptation and stay wide, in which case you negate his strengths.

I didn't see much of Valencia last season but I saw him going out wide and whipping crosses in, especially when they got that Arduriz on the the field. Him from the left, Joaquim/Hernandez from the right. Have seen him come inside for Spain a lot though and even play centrally.
Brilliant little player though

I agree. He is a brilliant player. Most of the times I have seen him, he has played centrally and been the playmaker. I'm not saying he can't cross, but I don't think that is his strengths and I think if being shown inside, the temptation to go inside would be strong.

A new rule will be brought in very soon.

A manager who wastes another managers time buy pretending to sell him a player or leading him on for ages and then saying no will be fined £5m or booted of the course. I have seen this happen many times and it is really annoying. You should see mine and Uncle Fans business today, I enquired for a player, he gave me a fee I said I want to look around but very intrested, he said let me know ASAP as he will need to do a T.P I looked around and offered him the money for Augusto. That is how it should be done.

Time wasters are idiots, an this is aimed at every manager here!!!

Andy's votes will not change any results, so we can close the voting for week 3. Here are the results, once again subject to Andy checking my calculations.

Birmingham 1 - 1 Blackburn
Liverpool 2 - 1 Sunderland
Stoke 2 - 1 Fulham
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Tottenham
Everton 2 - 0 Bolton

Smarts as far as I know you may do dodgy deals but you don't waste time or mess peples times. I remember you gave me a list of the players for sale and prices to reduce time wasting and I appreciate that. OK

Mattias Fernandez is for sale, very good attacking mid but with the system at my club we don't play an attacking mid anymore. £15m

Nick - votes were

1-3
0-1
0-2
0-3
0-1
0-1

That's 100% of votes, so definately your win. Scoreline determined by number of goals with a factor of 5 (remember only 8 voted and two of them were you and Nadeem though)

Total goals was 1-11, which is 0-2 I believe
