I'm hoping Barry Mac sparks him.

Thoughts guys? Rooting for Froch big time, head so wants to have a bet on Ward by UD but can't bring myself to do it.

Said on another thread backed Ward on pts straddled with Froch by KO. Won't begrudge Froch the win and closer it gets to the fight the more i'll be rooting for him. The money if Ward wins will be a little sweetner.. Looking forward to this one..

glad its an earlier start than some USA fights...means I wont be half asleep. Still think Ward takes the decision, but would love a froch KO!

Can't even bring myself to straddle it! But it's the most sensible bet, and as i said on another thread i therefore expect a Froch by shutout or Ward KO inside a round

And anyone got an idea what time the ring walks will be? I can't imagine it'll be any later than 2am or so, otherwise it's a long long warmup

Sky had the Khan show last week from 12 - 4 but that was well out.

Think you have that a bit backwards Coxy but I know what you mean. I'm not English so no split loyalties betting against Froch even though i would like him to win. Bet against Bernard Dunne when he lost the title but still cheered him on. But if theres money to be made I've no problem betting on it especially in boxing. Would feel bad betting against Ireland in football though...

Khan's words of wisdom so far include Froch and Ward being "two top young fighters" (34 and pushing 28, respectively), and constant references to Ward being the hometown fighter (he's from California, 3000 miles from Atlantic City, you'd struggle to name two further points in the whole of the US. Definitely not sour grapes on his part re: his last fight. (If anyone mentions 'robbery' again i'll wing them in the chin, most rounds were very close, it could've been a draw or gone either way)).

Wow, impressive first round, kell showed great reflexes bar the one right hand that landed against him but every shot looks powerful

Brook looks pretty sharp, i will have to put the laptop onto mute once Khan gives his verdict though.

Expect a stoppage from Kell though

This Gallarza fella's got next to no defence, but he's wild enough to make it an interesting bout. Kell should win by stoppage by the mid-rounds, but you never know.

impressed with kell so far. Slips punches nicely and waits for the moment to sit on his punches. The other guy is allowing him to do this I suppose, but still looks good

Kell has a magnificent jab. He is slipping well and many fighters in the division would have been koed by now

Bit premature, but as Watt said - what's the point. Getting outclassed and didn't look like he was going to find anything other than what the canvas tasted like.

Khan was not impressed with Brook

Got win for kell ,looked good. He finished well, picked his hots well and has a great punch economy.

Can't listen to khan though, is trying to play down kell as much as he can. Nothing wrong with a 6th round tko on your debut and is moaning saying he takes too many shots, he took 2 shots the entire fight. Khan was down to limmond

Yeah glad it was stopped. Brook frustrates me though. Looks class but thats 26 wins and hes fought nobody bar a 40 year old N'dou. Time to step it up.

Talk of Brook/Khan is extremely premature, in my opinion, but if Kell continues to improve i think it could be a great fight 18 months or so down the line.

Pretty sure the majority of UK boxing fans would be backint Kell, too!
