Who care how much Rangers put up for him? Holt would be mad to go even if Norwich accept. He stands a great chance of being picked for England if he carries on the way he's playing in the PL. If he goes to Scotland he can forget about it.

he will never leave norwich, he wants to finish here if he has the chance (as said in his programme interview today)

He absouloutly bullied the chelsea back four today, they were lucky cech was in form

He was immense today.

He didn't just bully the defence though. He put some tasty tackles in on Chelsea's midfielders and attack too he don't half work hard for the team.

I loved it when Luiz accidentally stamped on him. Straight up. Shook the curly haired fella by the hand and played on. Gave him a friendly smash later in the game.

LOL. That was me. A good hattrick yesterday especially the second, but the first was a penalty and the third was laid on a plate for him.

In my defence, he hasn't been playing well and this is backed up if you look a bit deeper than just saying 14 in 16.

Of his 14 goals, 5 have been penalties.
He has also been scoring in patches. 5 in 2 at the start if the season, then a poor patch, and 5 in the last two, in the middle he scored 1 goal from open play in 2 months.
He has scored 1 goal against a team currently in the top half of the table.

Villareal (19th) - 2g (1P),
Espanyol (5th) - 1g,
Vallecano (13th) - 1g,
Getafe (11th) - 1g (1P),

He is a better striker than this suggests, but I stick with what I said, he hasn't been brilliant for Atletico this season. Adrian Lopez has been as good, if not better than him and from open play, Lopez has the better record (6 in 10 to Falcao's 9 in 16)

CF - just popped on to see what had happened over the weekend and thought I should defend my earlier appraisal of Falcao.

See Messi got another 3 today. Thats 40 goals in 41 games in all competitions, plus 17 assists. That is phenomenal. Do you think he will better his record from last year?

i think he will, he is a ridiclously good player lol.

Pele has been spouting crap and bigging himself up saying Messi is good, but he can't be compared to him until he has scored 1200 goals and won 3 world cups!!

IMO Messi is already better than Pele was, but then I also think Maradona and Cruyf were better players too

i already think messi is better as welll, he is just a goal scoring machine, but he can also play on the wings as well!

Does Messi make Barcelona or does Barcelona make Messi? Think about the world class players he is playing with that serve goals up on a plate.....ok not always but some of the time.

Well he rarely does it for Argentina got 19 goals in 66 games so id say Barcelona makes Messi tbh

Messi is the best, when people say Real Ronaldo is better I want to smack them, no he wasn't. Yes I know he had injuries not his fault but even if he was fully fit Messi is better. Then there's Zidane lovely player but Messi is greater then him, people won't admit that because they think nothing is better then the past. Just like how the older lot tell me Maradona is better then him and the ones before them saying Cruyff.
