Question for all you wise footballing owls.

Mateo Kovacic has a contract with Dinamo Zagreb until June this year. He is only 17 and has scored 4 goals and had 3 assists this season (in the Croatian league though).

Do you think someone like Wenger might try and snap him up this summer? I have seen entries on goal.com (so taken with a pinch of salt) that Man City, Spurs and Man U might be interested in him.

I'd be very surprised if one of the bigger clubs don't go for him, from what I've seen of him in the Champions League he's class.

BRAZILIAN club Corinthians are keeping striker Adriano under "house arrest" to force him to lose weight.
The club say Adriano is being detained inside the team's hotel so they can watch what he eats.

Adriano - who has been fined several times for missing training - will be able to eat only what team doctors give him.

He will also be forced to train three times a day in a bid to battle the bulge.

Before I sold him I was using him as a sub to come on and I was going to blood him in more. Ideally I wanted to loan him out this season hoping that a club had gone in for him in Jan.

He wasn't in the squad, but he has 3 goals in 5 games for the Ivory Coast U23 side. Apparently Gervinho, Drogba and Kalou are better than him...
